Been on quite a few dive coasters, and, at least as far as it's gimmick is concerned, Oblivion's drop remains the best example. It's the only one dive machine that hits the tunnel in the vertical. Older style OTSR leave space for airtime (double dose if you can get the modified seating with two seatbelts and more room...) Sure, it does NOTHING else, but as a glorified drop tower it's the best one. As a coaster, sure, the other examples have extra features, but can anyone particularly say Sheikra's inversions are memorable? Nope.

First Drop Fluidité Hangtime Trop court

It was my first ride on it and it was so graceful the wing over drop sends you flying for some reason I preferred front row>back row Hands down best coaster at Thorpe park

Vortex deserves too much hate in my opinion. It’s a solid B&M coaster, certainly one that packs an unassuming punch, and doesn’t have a lot of roughness compared to other rides like Rougarou or Batman: The Ride. This is my fifth favorite coaster at Carowinds, behind Intimidator, Copperhead Strike, Afterburn and Fury 325.

Manta is a beautifully landscaped and graceful flying coaster, with the pretzel loop giving some insane G’s. The queue is interestingly enough a manta ray exhibit, which makes waiting in line just that much more tolerable, and the exit line is tucked off in between the mid-course and station. As the only other flyers I’ve ridden are Firehawk at Kings Island and Superman: Ultimate Flight at Six Flags Over Georgia, this bests both of them far and away. The layout is quite substantial, but it feels a lot shorter than it actually is — this is the only con I can think of on Manta, and it’s a minor complaint at that. All in all, Manta is a coaster that looks just as good as it rides!

    Débit Fun Longueur

It isn't as rough as people say. It has some decent double drops and hills. The laterals are also good.

Excellent pacing, with decent laterals and airtime. Rated it 4 instead of 4.5 just because I prefer water side to fire side!

The hills had great airtime. The banked turns were forceless and pretty dead. It doesn't deserve to be a top 50 coaster, but it is a nice woodie for sure.

Inversions Hangtime Longueur Vibrations Baffes Inconfort

It isn't an awful ride. It has a weird layout, with 5 heartline rolls at the end - being turned over 4 times in a row is hilarious. The inversions are decent. The ride just feels a bit slow, the trains aren't comfortable and it is pretty rough. Overall, an OK ride that hasn't aged well.

    Théma Fluidité Déception ! Layout

Apart from the pretzel loop, the layout is pretty bland. The coaster is nice and smooth with awesome theming though, with plenty of near misses. Overall, it is enjoyable, but the experience didn't live up to how imposing the ride looks before you get on it.
