So its fun overall, but there is one really jerky part at the end that yanks you upward on the last FULL hill, but the first drop in the back feels like you are getting sucked into a vacuum so that's really nice although the turns are VERY jerky latteraly

Helix is the perfect coaster for Liseberg. The way it winds itself down and back up the hill is awesome: It's a great layout with lots of variety and seven inversions that offer different sensations. The Norwegian loop adds some surprisingly strong positives (especially in the back) while the final roll offers some hangtime to close the ride. Admittedly, the launches aren't punchy at all but accelerate the train gradually, it's just a minor flaw at the end of the day. The rest of Helix is amazing: Especially the two airtime hills pull you out of your seat for seconds at a time. I was surprised that I ended up preferring the front row: While the initial drop is a lot better in the back rows, I found the sense of speed and airtime more enjoyable in row 1. Same goes for the Norwegian loop which is a little less crushing there. Overall, Helix runs smoothly and can be lapped without an issue whatsoever. Don't write it off after riding it in the morning, however. It warms up nicely throughout the day and gets better by the minute. The soundtrack is a treat as well and makes me wish it had onboard audio.

This ride doesn't feel like a traditional circuit coaster at all, it's more of three distinct sections connected by track in between, which actually fit the theme quite well. Also, the best part of the ride is getting ejected out of your seat backwards, it's such a crazy feeling. Always love that Intamin is willing to try new and unique ride layouts.
