This is a much better ride than it looks like on paper. First drop in the back gives a pop of airtime, and there’s a little bit of laterals to go around. You ride past some monkey exhibits and llamas are under the ride. It’s not particularly long and the trains are pretty crammed. But it probably compares favorably to Vekoma Junior Coasters which are what this model is trying to compete with.

This was the biggest disappointment of Epic Universe. It’s really quite rough. The ride shakes back and forth going over hills, not side to side. That said, the theming and gimmick of the ride are executed incredibly well. It’s still ultimately a fun ride, but it’s held back by discomfort and a feeling there could be more.

This wild mouse is on the aggressive side. The first half is pretty standard wild mouse stuff. The second half, Miler tried to get creative and they ended up making it forceful enough to be uncomfortable. The drops can be fun, but every turn in the second half, banked or not, is too abrupt to be too enjoyable.

The inversion is stronger on yellow than on green, but the difference between the two layouts is small in general. Racing the other train is super fun. And the ride is stunning especially at night. Amazing coaster.

Stardust Racers is an incredible ride. It has two powerful launches, a plethora of airtime, and a super fun inversion. Curse of the Werewolf is adequate. The launching through the wolf shed is fun, but it’s hard to see the werewolves. It’s nice that it spins. I’m definitely glad I got to ride it and that it exists at Epic Universe the way that park is now. But if someday they’re ever looking to close one of the opening day attractions, I’ve gotta imagine this is the one they’re gonna look to first as expendable for something better.

This ride was surprisingly fun. It is woven super well into the Isle of Berk area. It’s not the fastest or most forceful ride ever, but it’s so fun riding along the water, interacting with Stardust Racers or another train, and just flying through the area. Really well executed ride.

This is the closest thing I’ve seen to a flawless coaster. It has strong theming. It has ejector all over a long layout. Two powerful launches. The mosasaurus roll is the greatest inversion I’ve ever experienced. It’s not the single most intense, longest, or best themed coaster I’ve ever ridden, but it’s not that far from being the best in each of those categories. This is now my favorite coaster.

There’s a lot of special tricks in this ride that add to the fun, but the coaster sections are short and the dark ride sections are mostly giant 3D screens.

This is a fun ride, and Universal Studios Florida’s best coaster as of 2025. It’s a little rattly and sometimes has an uninspired layout, but it doesn’t detract enough from the fun of the onboard soundtrack. The non-inverting loop is pretty whippy. There’s a handful of airtime moments. This isn’t the greatest coaster ever but it has enough going for it to be really fun. It’ll be a shame when it closes but I’m confident that Universal can do better.

This ride is very underwhelming. The theming is pretty poor by Disney standards and there’s a distinct lack of forces. It has two launches that don’t pack any sort of punch and crawls through the layout. What theming there is is very fun though and it does ultimately work well enough to be enjoyable.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a phenomenal ride. This is a pretty floaty and graceful ride, rather than an intense one, but it works really well here. It’s super long, with multiple launches. The theming is immaculate including a 30-minute long indoor queue. The spinning helps to tell the story. This may not be the greatest piece of coaster hardware ever, but it is one of the greatest theme park attractions as a whole that I have ever experienced.

Tron Lightcycle Run is an excellent addition to Magic Kingdom. By far the most thrilling attraction in the park. The harness can be mildly uncomfortable, and it feels like it needs 10 more seconds of ride time. But the theming is spectacular. It simulates multiple near misses extremely well. The whole thing takes place in the dark which adds even more thrill. A must do at Magic Kingdom.

White Lightning is an excellent GCI. Loaded with airtime moments and relentless pacing. It’s a little weaker than some of GCI’s larger coasters, but overall it’s an extremely strong wooden coaster. Super smooth for a wooden coaster as well.
