No doubt this is a great ride and easily sits in my top 15, but it is definitely overhyped. This drop is great but not as intense as people say. The ejector is awesome, but not even the best in the park. Great ride nonetheless.

This is a fantastic roller coaster. I thought people were crazy for comparing this ride to Steel Vengeance or IG, but it is definitely in the same category as those rides. The ejector is the strongest that I have ever experienced and the layout is just truly complete with not a single dead spot. If it was a little taller and had a better drop this ride would 100% be my #1.

This B&M hyper is the second best that I have ridden. The first drop is spectacular and every single hill on this ride gives off great floater air time. The ride is short and the very end does meander, but I think the airtime more than makes up for this. Mako wishes that it could produce the forces that Candymonium has. This coaster gets way to much undeserved hate.

This was such a surprising ride for me as it exceeded my expectations by quite a margin. I was very skeptical of this ride as I have heard many say that it was the worse version of WWGLC at Fiesta Texas. This is not the case whatsoever. Jersey Devil is not only a great ride, its also better than its predecessor. The first drop is amazing and is comparable to the drop found on Wonder woman. After the first inversion (which is a super graceful moment) you climb over an airtime hill and that hill just slaps no matter where you are sitting. The zero g stall is spectacular and I think its my favorite zero g stall that I have ever experienced. The rest of the elements are so cohesive and the whole layout flows together extremely well. Great roller coaster than focuses more on gracefulness and floater then pure intensity.

Absolutely phenomenal ride. The first drop is one of the best on any coaster that I have ever ridden. The airtime on the first two hills and the first hill after the first turn around are truly amazing moments. The ride has no dead spots and the rolling hills are similar to gci's profiling on their newer rides. 10/10 ride that I cannot recommend enough. Yes the ride is a little rough, but as long as you sit in a non wheel seat there is little to no rough moments.

Great America is my home park so this is really upsetting for me. I denied the haters, I remained optimistic, yet all I'm left with is sadness and a headache. I truly cannot fathom how a brand new roller coaster can be so god forsaken rough. I will admit that I rode this in the third row so perhaps it rides better in the first or second. But is that really an excuse. Do I really have to be in a certain spot to get a good ride on the multi million dollar attraction that was just built. It is extremely disappointing that this steel coaster made by a world renown manufacturer is rougher than a 50 year old wooden coaster than is falling apart in the back of the park.

This is the roller coaster that made me an enthusiast back in 2019. Coming back in 2025 I was very worried that the coaster that started it all would fall in my rankings. Although the removal of the launch was quite disappointing, and certainly didn't help improve the ride, it did not hurt the overall ride experience. I am happy to say that the lightning rod that I fell in love with six years ago remains to this day inside my top 10. The only problem with this ride is the transition from I-box to topper track which is pretty jarring. The park should have just replaced all of the wood rather than frankensteining the ride.

It just doesn't live up to the hype that everyone gives it. Is it a bad coaster? No, but it certainly is not in the running for the best wooden coaster or even the best GCI. The first drop is boring and most of the elements just don't hit the way other GCI's do. Even with all of this being said, Thunderhead is still the second best coaster in the park.

Call me crazy but this is the best family coaster in the entire park due to the intensity of the first drop and turn around. This ride is very smooth, yet there are a few moments when you can feel a slight pop of floater. Overall fun attraction and a very thrilling family coaster.

While I don't believe this is a bad ride whatsoever, I do think that it is way overhyped and provides very mild thrills. Additionally, there is no air time throughout the entire ride and the ending is extremely boring. This ride was not a good investment for Dollywood in my opinion as it is like many of the other coasters at the park, a mediocre family attraction.
