The Problem with the beast is that it is a living legend(Not the legend). The reason that's a problem is because no one knows how to fairly rate the Beast. We've got the old heads who love this thing have ridden it like 10,000 times and then you've got people from my generation who also have ridden it a bunch but they aren't as emotionally attached so they hear "its a legend" or "Its the best" and then when they ride it all they find is the flaws with no reward. That leads me to my point that the Beast is a mess with no real gauge on how good it is, but i decided to fix that. In the park it is my personal number 5 behind the 3 B&M's and Mystic and its just ahead of racer. When you ride the beast you cant expect an airtime filled Voyage (get it) in to the woods but a nonsensical journey out into the forest and when you expect that the ride becomes awesome, Like a mine train on steroids. With Mystic Timbers you come in with low expectations that get blown out of the water with orion you get expectations that are exeded in one point but miss in other, so what do you get with Diamondback. With Diamondback you get the ride you exactly see, a fast pace machine with floater airtime packed to the brim all within its humble layout. This ride is just so good it's hard to explain. The best way to describe how good the floater air time on this ride is to say this alone reimagind my thought on what good air time felt like and it quickly became my 2nd favorite set of air time behind twisted timbers ejector air time. PLEASE don't skip this ride,if you don't you will be rewarded

What you have to do is come in not expecting fury or I305 ( Pantherian) you have to come in expecting orion. when you finally ride orion for orion you realize that this ride is just pure fun and absolute enjoyment through it's entire layout.
