Nice surprise indeed. Falken has a very wooden ride which thankfully is not uncomfortable. Therefore you are able to enjoy the airtime that this coaster has. I actually preferred the front row over the back row but you shouldn't be disappointed chosing either. Overall, Falken is an avarage to great woodie and probably my personal nr. 2 at Fårup Sommerland.

At last, I got my first ride on a Vekoma MK1101. A moment I've been eagerly waiting for. Luckily, Fønix did not disappoint. The drop is amazing, the stall-loop delivers some hangtime and even the tophat-like element afterwards delivers airtime. One of the standout elements is the rapid heartline roll afterwards which is easily the best one I have done so far as it repeatedly left me dizzy. The remaining layout is mostly made up by floajector and ejector airtime hills, I'd wish for a little bit more variety here. Being a Vekoma nex-gen looper, Fønix of course features a station-fly-through element, a great heartline-roll/corkscrew. Without a doubt, Fønix is the best roller coaster in Denmark and I can't wait to experience more Vekoma next-gens. Oh and not to forget: Fønix is laughably smooth.

Didn't expect anything else but hoped for something that would be more extraordinary. The ride is all about ejector airtime which in itself is great but since there is nothing else it left my slightly disappointed. I might have got a slight ejector-fatigue cause pure airtime hasn't been my prefered sensation on roller coasters for a while. Would feel wrong to give less than 4,5 stars though.
