Very good inverted coaster, the zero-g roll is amazing and has a very fun weightless sensation. the drop and helix are very intense and i greyed-out a few times.
Highly recommend!

The Corkscrew is an iconic part of rainbows end and has gained status due to its rainbow colored track and trains- despite the niche theming and presentation, the ride is rough and outdated. this ride would work well as a classic if the park would install an actually good headlining rollercoaster, but since there is no demand for a headliner in New Zealand, they feel no need to. the rattle on the corkscrews are uncomfortable and the drop and loop are pretty forceless. its much more entertaining to just watch the ride from off ride. a ride i would recommend in the park would be the flat ride named the Stratosfear- it delivers some good hangtime and crushing positive forces.

VERY INTENSE, if you are afraid of intense rides then this is not the ride for you. The combination of the hard restraints and the g forces at the bottom of the drop make the overall ride feel like a bit too much for some people. Before the drop got re-profiled it used to pull about 6.3 g's, and you can definitely still feel the force. Although, this ride is very unreliable and when i went for my first visit to gold reef city it was closed for maintenance so if you catch it open don't miss it.
