This is a great addition! Love the intensity, love the theming, love the lore, love the original music and storyline subtly revealed. Far better in the back seeing as you move more. In the very front you don’t get all too much hang time making it easier to stomach for those against the tilt. Smooth as can be, so incredibly enjoyable. Unique and fun!

I… have mixed feelings about this. It’s a worthy replacement, yes, but it’s lacking the true intensity of the original. With how much it’s been down and the overall issues, should’ve just been kept a cable launch and an overall better coaster. I’m biased because I live for that ‘getting hit by a truck’ feeling which the original delivered. The first launch is run-of-the-mill, the second one is great, but the third one doesn’t have that punch that knocks the wind out of you. It’s easy to tell the difference between the old and new track and the system is just as finicky from what I’ve seen. I miss the original way more than I enjoy the refurbishment.

This is technically a coaster because it has like two small drops, but nothing more than that. As a dark ride, however, it does very well showcasing historic storylines and animatronic systems as well as black light art styles. One of those credits that’s a credit by technicality, but it’s just like going back to the 80s and 90s in terms of what you’d expect to see in a park like this. The animatronics are as maintained as they can be, the paint is fresh and stylized, the voiceovers are understandable through the dated speakers… great for nerds who like experiencing pieces of amusement park historic trends. This won’t be a landmark by any means but is a living, breathing attraction from a different era.

From my home park, this really has everything you’d want from a terrain coaster. The second drop into the valley is fantastic and the turns are super fun. Because of its construction style there are a few moments that are simply straight downhill or uphill, such as the Thunderbolt crossover where the motion keeps going but the airtime doesn’t. You sort of just sit in your seat like you would in a car going downhill.

I’m 5’1” and all coasters with restraints like this leave me in pain, but that is less on the designers and more on me for having a larger chest and being smol. Others experience this just fine. The tire drive launch and narrative are great, but the entire second half of the ride is a disappointment. You had all that speed, all that energy, yet you trim it all down and do bunny hills. That sucks. I’m 50/50 on if I like being blinded by the sun while immediately inverting. Bring back the roar!

There’s a reason I still have this as my absolute favorite and it speaks for itself. The second half is more intense than the first, there’s not a trim break to be seen, the lap bars are comfy, the back half of each car is slightly raised for views, the top gun stall… I could keep going, but every single ride leaves me speechless.

When people say it’s exactly how it was when it first opened, that’s a double edged sword. The layout is quite fun and the turns through the dark are enjoyable, but so much light leaks in it’s pathetic. The first turn overlooking the pathway through the rocks is quite nice, though. Front facing theming does not hold up with the ride within.

Also wish there were boxes up at the platform like a lot of the other rides, seeing as it would make sense with a single train ride.

This is fantastic and goes into my 10/10 club. Absolutely incredible all around, wish I could select more pros. Only issue is how rough the back half of the train can get, though iirc there’s a scheduled long term retrack. Hopefully this will help make the whole train viable.
