Unnervingly smooth and really fun, with a solid launch and great theming. However, an hour wait might not feel worth it for a 45-second lightcycle adventure. The ARES overlay is really cool as well. I do think I prefer the original, but I appreciate them mixing things up.

Intense enough to give fairly consistent greyouts, and the launch into the blinding sun is great. B&M sitdown loopers (from my experience) tend to run rough, but also crazy fast. It is a bit rough after the retrack's 8th year, but the experience makes up for it.

As a full package, this is the best amusement ride ever. It has a really good queue and good on-ride theming. As a roller coaster, however, it isn’t *quite* that perfect, as the first half is merely great, not spectacular. The second half, however is the best second half I’ve experienced, having a great launch, a great tophat, a great zero-g stall, a good twist-n-shout, a great speed hill, and the legendary mosasaurus roll. 11/10

Objectively an awful ride, especially for a park like Universal. It’s rough, has bad capacity, and has tons of brake runs. However, this dang thing managed to be actually fun? It’s probably the music gimmick putting in work, but Rip Ride Rockit was the best in its park and I’ll miss it. Hopefully Intamin and Universal can make something that doesn’t depend on weirdness to be good.

For a ride as long as this is, you might think I’m crazy for calling it too short. However, I say that it’s too short as each segment isn’t long enough to fully enjoy the gimmick it brings. Besides my nitpick, it’s a great family coaster with good theming for something outside of Universal or Disney and different every time due to the spinning.

A nice long ride through the Savanna with three launches, some solid airtime, and decent whip on the snaps over the river. There are a few dead spots, but I honestly just see those as time to take in the view. Just watch out for the line, as most guests can’t get enough of this thing.

It’s a decent ride, with that fun launch though the station and some of Florida’s best hang time. Unfortunately, the decent layout is ruined by the truly garbage trains. Those dang things are nigh impossible to get in quickly, and the shin guard makes it impossible to pull the lap bar all the way down. Add on the “comfort” collars, and the 5 minute wait for the 20 people ahead to ride doesn’t seem worth it.

I haven’t been on any other dive coasters, but this one’s great. You’ve got a great view on the lift-top turnaround, and a spectacular vertical dive 200 feet down. For Bush Gardens, the theming is pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, the ride is quite short, and not much outside of its two drops and the splashdown (when it works).
