great mix between a dark ride and coaster, the coaster has a great skyline and has great theming in the que and the ride itself. the story is well build, its not all too intense but i dont mind that. main con is that you always stop kinna suddenly on the lift hill, it sometimes hurts my back a bit. it has gotten better recently though

This was my first ride of the day at phantasialand and honnestly it blew me away. before this the only B&M i've done was Baron 1898 and even though I love that coaster, This one is better in therms of layout. that zero-g roll had so much whip it was amazing. That whip came super unexpected and I love it. the theming is also really good. I however didn't notice the foot choppers that much. I think you really need frontrow to get the full effect which I haven't ridden yet. The coaster does lose a bit of intensity near the end. the last inversion is not that strong IMO. but all around a really fun coaster. It might not be my favorite at the park but honnestly this is really close to FLY and Taron. some moments on this coaster may even be my favorite of the whole park (mainly that zero-g roll, I love that so much). whenever you're here don't skip on this one. I think its really underrated.

First time walking into rookburgh my jaw just dropped. This is such an impressive coaster. The theming is world-class, and that just for one ride. The ride itself is also such an experience. The loading system is so smart, and vekoma did a great job. I'm never a big fan of vest restraints, so this isn't the most comfortable ride, but I wouldn't call it uncomfortable. The flying position is just different and not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it. The layout is super good. It's intense, but not too intense. The positive G's are nice and feel really weird because the vest is allowing you to ever so slightly pull away from your seat. But this ride also has airtime. And those airtime moments are just pure bliss. It's so fun the way you just lift out of your seat and into the backrest. It's so so so good. Any time the airtime hit I just had the biggest smile on my face. This ride is incredibly graceful and it feels like flying. This ride made me realize how it would feel if you were to fly around as Superman. It's really convincing. This coaster is super good and it's worth the trip to phantasialand just to ride it. And this isn't even my favorite at the park, which makes it even more crazy. For sure the best vekoma I've done and they did such a good job alongside phantasialand to make this masterpiece.

I think I would really love this ride on a re ride. but my first and only ride I was sitting next to my dad who's way bigger than me so I had a whole fist of room between me and the restraint. couple that with just a fairly uncomfortable bench and no seat belt I was scared shitless. I know I wasn't in any danger since its mostly just positive G's, but man I hold on tight like my life depended on it lol. most scared I’ve ever been on a coaster. if I ever do this ride with a proper positioning of the lap bar, I’ll be sure to redo this review.

My favorite coaster, the theming is spot on and the music is a joy to listen too, the ride has a great drop and the inversions are taken with speed and feel incredible, the ride is super smooth, unlike anything i've ridden because this is my only b&m coaster i've done sofar and i have nevre ridden an intamin ride before. the coaster is intense and feels great, could be a bit longer though
(edit, now that i've been to phantasialand i do have to say that I still love this coaster but its still really tame. it feels incredible and its super smooth. but Taron, FLY and even black mamba are way more intense. baron hold a special place in my heart and now is tied for my number one along side the 3 big coasters at phantasialand. as for fly taron and black mamba, I find it really hard to choose a favorite out of those 3 lol)

OH MY LORD THE G'S, this coaster is just purely a gforce machine, no time for air time just g's. the theming and music is great and will always stay an importand part of my childhood. the layout isn't the best the efteling has to offer since baron and geoge and the dragon exist with excellent layouts. but its still just pure fun, im always having the biggest smile in this coaster i love it so much. only issue is that the seats are kind of small and that can lead to cramps durring the ride
