For a 30 year old coaster with 8 inversions, this ran surprisingly smooth. I tried alternating between leaning forward and back, and I didn't experience any headbanging whatsoever. Dragon Khan is densely packed with elements, but there's not really any standout elememt that makes it particularly memorable. The first drop is good, but nothing special when you have Shambhala right next to it.

It's a really imposing coaster that dominates the entire park. The speed on this thing is insane, and the launch can be heard from far away. Yes, it's short, but the the whole experience is so intense that it's definitely worth the long wait times. I went in the single rider queue, though, and it wasn't bad at all.

It's a standard kiddie coaster situated right underneath its big brother namesake. I felt like they could have made it resemble the layout of Red Force more to drive home the point that this is a kiddie version of the big one. I didn't feel any pain on this ride as others have reported. My 6-year-old said it was boring.

The launch will take your breath away. It's crazy fast. Other than that, it's just a basic figure-8 loop. The main problem with this ride is that it was originally designed as a gimmick - the fastest coaster in Europe. Now that Red Force exists right next door and the novelty has worn off, the ride is a bit too simple. However, it does have an inline twist which is nice. I still loved Furius Baco. The launch is just that good. I didn't find the rattle all that bad at all.

Toutatis is so celebrated for a reason. It's smooth, fun and has just the right amount of craziness to make it a unique experience. If there's anything that could make this ride even better, it would be a taller spike that would increase the intensity. Unfortunately, Parc Asterix can't build higher than 50 meters, but they could dig place for a longer drop undergound. Also, the trim brake over the top hat seems unnecessary, making the first drop sort of an anti-climax. But I'm really nitpicking here, because the ride is amazing overall.

The lines on this are absurd, routinely running well over 2 hours. The queueing area is dark and confusing, and you have no idea how long you have left. The ride itself is awesome for families. My kids absolutely loved this one. The track and layout is unlike anything I've seen before, and the launches are a lot of fun. The theming is unfortunately not great. Essentially a few TV screens with random video game characters. I felt no connection to the story whatsoever.

This is my kind of coaster, and was one of the main reasons why I went to PortAventura in the first place. Shambhala did not disappoint! I rode this just a few days after Toutatis at Parc Asterix, and I honestly think I liked this one better. It's a no-nonsense hyper with a great first drop, amazing airtimes and supreme comfort. The only negatives are lack of originality and poor capacity due to inefficient staff, which is a common problem in all of PortAventura. I rode it late evening when the queue was short.

I imagine this would have been an imposing coaster back when it opened as one of the tallest in the world, but in this day and age, a 67-meter drop is nothing special in itself. The first drop is also not that steep, which makes the ride a little tamer than it looks. It's like a milder version of Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure, despite being very similar in terms of layout, height and speed. But it's a smooth hyper with solid capacity, so it's definitely worth a ride or two.

This was my first time on a motorbike coaster. I l like the concept. However, it had the longest queue of the coasters in Toverland, and the ride is really short. The 1.40m height restriction is also pretty annoying on a family coaster. The launch was alright, but other than that, the ride didn't really offer anything. The seating was less comfortable than it looked.

Despite running much smoother than one would expect from a coaster this old, it still feels very dated. A park like Efteling should really have higher standards and replace it with something more modern.
