Nice surprise! Location Hangtime Rattle Discomfort
Super underrated ride. My only problems are the lack of legroom (although it didn't bother me as much as other Premier train coasters), some slightly jerky transitions, and it is expensive to ride. Other than that, the ride packs some really good forces and surprisingly solid airtime. The first drop is decent but the second one is even better. I went in expecting a super rough experience but came away with maybe another top 50 coaster. Definitely check this coaster out of you're in the area.

First Drop Location Duration Dead spots Layout Reliability
The Big Apple Coaster was better because of the new Premier Rides Sky Rocket trains. However, these are the Sky Rocket trains with comfort collars, so there is some mild headbanging, but not deal-breaking. The first drop is divided into two drops: an initial small drop and significantond large drop. You do get some good floater airtime on the second drop. The location and views are the best I have ever seen on a coaster, out of my 21 credits. TOGO couldn't decide on whether the Big Apple Coaster would be a multi-looper or an airtime-centric hyper, so they decided to combine together. The end result is just a pointless layout with many dead spots. The coaster also tends to close down during high winds, which happens quite often in Las Vegas. It is a decent ride for what it is.

Nice surprise! Location Comfort Rattle Dead spots
For years, I heard a lot of slander and slack directed towards the Big Apple as it was considered a giant, rough, and pointless TOGO hyper up until it got the new Premier Rides trains in 2021. When my family said we were going to Las Vegas for spring break, this was one of the first things I wanted to try. I wanted to see how good or bad this was, to see if Premier Rides saved the experience, and alas, they absolutely freaking did. The location around the coaster, themed to New York City itself, was always great and anyone like me could easily fall in love with it. For the most part, the ride was incredibly smooth with the new trains except for some rough patches at the hill after the second drop and the two inversions, the vertical loop and the dive loop. Said trains were incredibly comfortable and eliminated any possible headbanging from the previous trains, albeit the lap bar may sometimes get too tight. My main and only other con aside from the rough patches is that not much really happens after the break run and it feels like a slightly sluggish victory lap more than anything. However, the helix is admittedly a nice and simple finish to this experience. Overall, I feel like Premier Rides did a good job in saving this ride and basically did a reverse-RMC to this formerly infamous ride to improve it and with great success too. The ride was so smooth that I forgot it was built by TOGO in the 1990’s and it was just a solid, fun ride that was a highlight of my trip. Number Score: 8/10 Letter Grade: B Pros: Smooth, Good Location, Comfortable Trains, Fast paced and intense at some points. Cons: Rough patches, relatively boring second half.

Nice surprise! Location Fun Dead spots
Had a good time riding this coaster for the first time in late March. I’d heard generally negative reviews about this ride and how rough and janky it was so i tried to brace myself the entire ride. However, it was surprisingly smooth and enjoyable! I’m guessing that the new premier rides trains are making a world of difference, since I never rode this coaster with the old trains. Awesome location, some cool and wacky drops and inversions. Slower second half of the ride but still enjoyable. It’s an expensive price tag, and the line was about 40 mins long on a weekday morning, but IMO it’s absolutely worth it for the experience!

Location Fun Rattle Headbanging Layout
The Big Apple Coaster Not necessarily bad, but it isn’t great either. The layout is super weird but some bits are kinda fun. Of course I haven’t ridden it before the new comfy premier rides restraints, but I can only imagine how awful it used to be with the shoulder restraints. But I am assuming that the track profiling has not been fixed at all because "wow” it is JERKY! Also I would be aware that the layout is very mediocre, the first half from the drop to the mid course is very fun! But the rest is just meandering around and kinda boring, except for one nice pop of airtime. But like I said, not too bad but it ain’t great. So, is it worth the $20 to get to ride the Big Apple Coaster? I mean, if you are really wanting that credit then yes I would say it is worth the checkout, even if you aren’t a credit counter. I say yes to see how bad it really is, all in all, not a terrible ride. Final Score: 58%

Duration Dead spots
It's fine, I guess. Only uncomfortable moments were the first two valleys.

Inversions Headbanging
This ride is very strange for sure. The ride is basically a tour of the hotel.. for 20 bucks. In all seriousness though, the ride was ridiculously rough, but honestly, I didn't mind it. The new trains probably caused a major improvement. Most of the ride however is just slow rises above the hotel. There is one thing keeping me from ranking it lower, literally one of the best inversions ever, the dive loop. The quick snap to 180 degrees and then the tight pullout is just so intense and whippy. I wouldn't say it's worth the money but I also wouldn't say avoid it.

Location Airtimes Dead spots Intensity
In total it probably is a really nice coaster for non-coaster-enthusiasts. I didn't experience any rattling or headbanging like mentioned before. Some kiddy-coasters can be more intense but the view is amazing. It does not feel as high as it is and the drops (even the first drop) are pretty boring. There are multiple trim brakes inbetween that almost stop you. The first half (before the inversion) is not bad but the part after that has no view and is just very boring featuring endless bunny hops without any airtime. It was also a bit sad that the last (dark) part had no theming at all.

Nice surprise! Location Fun
This gets a lot of hate, but I do not understand why. I rode in 2021 w/ the new trains and had no issues. The location is incredible. The layout is weird and memorable, making it very fun. Unique elements abound. I quite liked it!

Location Fun Discomfort
With the new 2021 Premier Rides trains this is now re-rideable. The location is great, it also has quite some speed at the beginning. There are still some rough edges here and there. Very expensive though.

Airtimes Location Harness Headbanging Inversions
Scenic, a few good airtime moments, better restraints, fun... but unfortunately the two inversions are terribly shaky and have rough trackwork.

確かに痛いというだけで叩きたくなるアメリカ人の皆様の言い分もわかりますが、個人的にはこのレイアウトは好きです。

Location
Most absurd location to have ridden a coaster, but definitely neat. I vividly remember the giftstore having mlp plushies, but I don't remember much of the ride lol.

Intensity Duration Rattle Headbanging
The first half of the coaster was pretty good: get a great view of the city, nice long drops. But then as the inversions come, it gets really rough and your head gets bumped on those restraints, some transitions are awful (like that enter to the dive loop). Also the ride is pretty long and you exit with a headache for which you paid 14$. Thrill: 3.75/5

Location Layout Harness Intensity
I was honestly expecting a lot worse due to this ride's reputation as a TOGO. While the ride was definitely nowhere near as painful to ride as I was expecting, it was also much less intense than I thought it would be based on its layout. The drop-down shoulder restraints are pretty annoying and pointless considering you already have a perfectly sufficient lap bar; however I didn't get much headbanging on them, so they were just more of a bother than anything. Ride at night; the lit up Vegas strip really makes this ride's location shine, and makes this ride worth riding at least once purely from a scenic standpoint.

Location Headbanging Harness
The ride has a very solid concept, the execution falls flat quite a bit. If the ride only had lap bars (It has the typical Premier lap bars as well as a shoulder restraint) it would be an actually good ride.

Location Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!
It costs too much and it is a terrible ride.
-
Discomfort
Aside from its awesome location, it's a pretty terrible coaster. Just hurts too much to ever want to ride again.

I survived so I guess that’s worth the half star

Fun Intensity Layout Harness
I enjoy this roller coaster every time I visit Las Vegas. However the harness is uncomfortable and made my shoulders sore. I would go on this roller coaster again.
