Would be better than Voyage if it kept its intensity after the trim brake

Pace Intensity
Ride this in the back, it’s such a rush you can’t catch your breath the way you whip over the top and plunge down the first hill and then get smoothly whipped around that track. It’s pure Intamin genius.

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Harness
Wow. Just wow. This ride was everything I expected and more. First drop was the best first drop I’ve ever been on?? Sense of speed is insane, grey out guaranteed on the first turn. Airtime is CRAZY strong on the camelback and the switchbacks are crazier than they look. 10/10 new number 1 overall. Only nitpick is the shoulder harness do hurt your shoulders after a couple rides. Shorter riders probably won’t have this issue.

This one of my top 7 favorite coasters. I mean who doesn't love an intense blackout
-
First Drop Pace Intensity
Just like all other Gigas, the first drop is fantastic, but the turn after the drop is mind-blowingly intense. The ride proceeds to be full of fast-paced turns and hills.

First Drop Pace Intensity
"Gentlemen! Start your ENGINES!!" My favorite coaster start -- I get an adrenaline rush every time. This was my #1 for years until RMCs crashed the party. As for the grey-out on the first turn, do the "fighter pilot clench." Clench major muscles - glutes, thighs, abs, biceps. It works - my grey-outs were either non-existent or mild. Anyway, I love the speed and intensity, especially on the snap turns. The best experience is after dark in front. The first drop feels twice as big, and the whole ride feels faster. I just wish they could get rid of the trim on the last airtime hill.

Airtimes Pace Intensity
Absolute insanity. It takes elements on a family coaster at 90 mph. The layout does not feel like it should go with a giga coaster, but it does. The drop is incredible, the first turn will make you grey out so hard, the camelback gives awesome sustained ejector, and from there, it's just a blur of speed, laterals and ejector. Such an insane ride.

First Drop Harness Intensity Intensity
My first Giga ride after standing next to two others...I got rained out at Millennium Force and Fury was down when I visited Carowinds. I don't know how the others rate and while I hope to find out some day, I can't imagine anything as intense as the first drop and turn on Intimidator305. The first hill might be the top roller coaster moment of all time for me. A rush unlike anything I've ever experienced. As far as the rest of the ride goes, it was pretty enjoyable if not tame by comparison. The hard turns were much smoother than I expected. In fact, the overall ride was much smoother than I expected. I was also grateful for the shoulder harnasses which lent a balance of comfort and security AND the pace of the first hill climb. They don't give you a chance to let your anxiety build too much as the first lift hill hauls...an act of kindness, I must say. I love the Intamin innovations on other coasters and RMC has the midas touch with just about everything it puts out these days...but while they may be less fashionable at the moment and the intensity will be too much for some, I really hope we get more Giga's like I305. Big, fast and scary never goes out of style.

Airtimes First Drop Intensity
I somehow managed to ride it. The whole life hill I was scared but starting the first drop it was so much fun. First turn only made me grey out and there were tons of fun airtime hills and those snappy turns.

First Drop Intensity Smoothness Layout
This thing is insane. Love the soft restraints and so far this and Fury 325 are the only ones I've ridden to make my world go small from the Gs. Front seat is a must!!

almost perfect, it can be a little intense and can make you lose a little bit of conciousness but its so much fun and feels very secure
-
Pace Masterpiece Intensity
Incredible ride. World class intensity, and amazing pacing to boot. The airtime on this ride also delivers, even if the ride is mainly focused on speed and intensity. Its a shame that nothing like this will ever be built again.
-
First Drop Intensity Layout
Intimidator 305 is perhaps the most intense and unique coaster in the world. My first rides on it did not fully do it justice. The front row is an unbelievable experience. The high positives and the downright savage lateral snaps combined with the feeling of the wind in your face at 90 miles per hour is transcendent. There is nothing else like this ride and there never will be. 10/10 - I prepared for my riding buddy to have to tap out after a ride or two, but I ended up having to be the one to take a break; I'm not sure they're human
-
Pace Harness Layout Intensity
Me and my entire party blacked out.. for the whole ride. All of us, we need to go see a hospital or something because there's no way that's safe. At least the coaster "looks" safer than Twisted Timbers.. (Lap bars are SO deadly) and the pacing was good I guess. But wayyy too intense.
-
I've ridden this thing a ton. I think you're enjoyment varies depending on how you feel going into it. I'm finding myself always in awe that it exists and runs as well as it does at this age, but im finding myself not enjoying i305 as much as I once did. It sits as my 3rd in the park, recently being overtaken by the phenomenal Grizzly. It's still a 5 star marvel and a top 50 in the world, but mostly due to appreciation and not enjoyment.
-
First Drop Pace Intensity Harness
305 is a fantastically intense giga, utterly relentless in its pacing. While airtime from the drop and subsequent hills is present, the real star of the show is the snappy transitions and incredible speed you navigate the layout at. Literally my only complaint is that I wish it had lapbars.
-
Intensity Harness Discomfort
If you're over 6'2 and skinny you will feel some soreness on your collar bone the next day. Intense ride and really great but the over the shoulder restraint is brutally uncomfortable.
-
Pace Masterpiece Intensity
Everyone talks about the intensity, for good reason, but I don’t think people understand the airtime on this masterpiece. The big “traditional” airtime moments are the first drop (best in the back row), the first camelback, and the 2nd half speed hills (which have been running un-trimmed lately). But the whips are so extreme that many of the airtime moments are experienced in the buttery-smooth, violently-fun turns. This isn’t just the best giga I’ve experienced, it’s also the best Intamin. Hang this in the enthusiast Louvre and appreciate its brilliance every time your ride it, because nothing like it will ever be built again.
-
First Drop Pace Intensity
The first drop is incredible, and after that this ride doesn’t let up. I greyed out every single time I rode this but I loved it anyways. This has to be one of the most aggressive coasters out there. Amazing first drop, good airtimes, awesome pacing, and some unmatched intensity make this my favorite coaster at kings dominion.
-
Pace Intensity Smoothness
Holy Crap this ride is insane. This is my favorite roller coaster in the world. The intensity is unmatched and the pacing is relentless. That towering first drop, though trimmed, is one of the best in the world. That first turn caused me to lose all my vision and nearly black out, and I sustained it for the whole ride. I had to stop after ride four because of how draining it was. I could complain about the lack of lap bars and use of shoulder strap, but I won’t because there wasn’t any head banging and it was fairly comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this ride enough.
-
Airtimes First Drop Intensity Intensity
I actually passed out on this ride! So that made the airtime really scary. The intensity on the transitions are so quick that it gives quick pops of airtime. In fact the speed is so crazy that I started tearing out of my eyes!
-
Airtimes Pace Intensity
This is the most intense ride on the planet. If you’re scared of heavy positive g-forces, this isn’t the ride for you. But what makes this ride so intense isn’t just the positives. It’s the fact that it features every single g-force. And every moment of which is very hard core mainly for the speed they’re taken at. Positives? The first turn will make you intensely grey out, or even black out. Negatives? That first drop in the back is so sustained and powerful. That first camelback is really underrated for how strong and sustained it is too. And even those snaps gives pops. Those last two hills would be powerful if the trim didn’t hit as hard. And finally, laterals. Just those crazy snaps. It throws you to the side with so much force it’s crazy. And if you love a great sense of speed, you’ll also love this ride. It’s just an insane ride that I still can’t believe exists.
-

Pace Intensity Ejectors Intensity
The most intense coaster I've ridden, which is amazing and also terrifying. It was so fast it was all a blur!
-
First Drop Pace Intensity Harness
Insane coaster, super intense with surprising airtime on the fast switchbacks. Great drop with ejector in the back, the grey out turn is the most intense element in the world imo. The lap bar sometime staples you, and the shoulder straps are necessary so if people grey out their neck doesn't get snapped. Thoosies need to stop being entitled about them.
-
First Drop Pace Intensity Theming Dead spots
Overall this is the Rollercoaster I've ridden the most in my life, it will always be special to me. But about the actual Coaster is the most intense in the world, the first drop is an immediate gray out. And the whippy turns, the only bad thing is the mid-brake it slows it down to a crawl if the conditions arn't correct, still a top tier ride.
-
Pace Intensity Intensity
Very intense for a coaster and thats a positive for all the quick turns but its also a negative for making about 99% grey out which can be fun or a main complaint.
-
Airtimes First Drop Intensity
This thing is crazy intense. Certainly not on the level of some really good RMCs but it's the one of the best coasters in the country and has some surprising ejectow moments.
-
First Drop Intensity Ejectors
I've ridden this probably about 150 times and it still never gets old for me. That first turn is pretty much an automatic blackout for me every ride and the whole rest of the coaster is ridiculously fast and forceful. Those snaps don't feel safe and make maverick look tame, honestly the whole ride does that imo. This ride has airtime literally on those snaps too as well as on the speed hill coming off the big camelback, getting airtime combined with laterals going like 80 mph is surreal. The airtime in general is super underrated and really strong ejector with the first drop as well as the massive sustained skyrush level camelback and the hills later in the ride especially with the trims off. This thing has incredible pacing and is flawlessly smooth and whoever complains about the restraints has literally no pain tolerance. This will likely always be in or near my top 5 and is just a heaven like experience.
-
Airtimes Masterpiece Intensity
This is an insane ride with crazy transitions and positive and negative g’s
-
First Drop Masterpiece Intensity
It's absolutely unreal this coaster even exists. 75% of my vision went to TV static on that famous first turn, and the laterals and sense of speed are unmatched. It's hard to marathon, as I came back at different times throughout the day, but man is every ride worth it.
-
First Drop Masterpiece Intensity
The more coasters I ride, the more I appreciate this one. I feel like I’m riding a bucking bronco on a lot of rides, but this one feels like I’m strapped to a missile. I like to think that Dale drove his No. 3 Chevy right through Jungle Expedition and created this uber intense yet buttery smooth masterpiece and no one had the guts to tell him no. The front is fun, but I prefer to ride it in the back for max effect. If you keep a gap in your restraint, there are a few good airtime moments too. JESUS CHRIST, WHAT IS THIS RIDE?!?! This ride is a barrage of intensity, ejector airtime, and snappy laterals. My absolute favorite part of this ride and one of my favorite elements of all time is the snappy speed hill. I love this ride SO MUCH! It's easily my #2. Every hill has amazing airtime, every s-bend is a joy, and every turn tries to knock you out cold! You'll never feel faster than when you are darting around near the ground at 90 miles per hour! This ride is such a rush!

First Drop Intensity Ejectors Headbanging
An awesome Intamin Giga-coaster, the only bad thing about it is the amount of headbanging, which is greatly helped with the soft strap restraints.

Airtimes Pace Intensity
The definition of Intamin death. The pacing is insane since you stay low to the ground the whole ride and even the trim can’t kill the pacing. If the pacing isn’t enough then you have the crushing positives, I don’t grey out much but that first turn had me every time and even made me blackout once. And don’t sleep on the rest of this ride there were like 3 or 4 other moments I was greying out, I’m pretty sure I greyed out more on this one coaster than every other coaster I’ve ridden combined, I was literally seeing grey for half of the ride. The airtime was actually really good as well, the first drop and first hill are sustained strong ejector, the transition after the first hill somehow gives powerful ejector, and even the trimmed hill and the hill following manage to give flojector on a good ride. Also the s bends and pop into the brake run somehow give airtime ranging from strong floater to weaker ejector. So even though the ride doesn’t focus on airtime it still surprisingly excels in that category. And don’t even get me started on the whip. Those s bends and turn into the brake run whip u so ridiculously hard it feels like you break your neck, you can’t even see yourself turning you whip that hard it’s like you teleport. And also because this ride is just that insane you get airtime on these s bends. The ride doesn’t have the longest duration but it still feels long due to the amount of elite elements packed in and how physically draining the ride is, I rode it 3 times in a row once and after that I was just completely out of it. Also I don’t have any problems with the restraints either, yeah t bars would be nice but I don’t mind the ones it has. Overall this coaster has everything I look for in love in a coaster which is why its one of the best on the planet.

The good is just about equal to the bad but I blame this coaster for why Kings Dominion is falling into disrepair.

This ride is amazing it has everything from whip to airtime to blackout intensity to speed.

This is an intensity machine unlike any other coaster I've ridden. Speed, pacing ,and transitions are unbelievable.

It's really intense and it's an awesome ride. Would like some more airtime!

Pace Masterpiece Intensity Harness Intensity
This is my #2 coaster of all time, just behind The Voyage. Intimidator 305 is a barrage of insanely whippy S-bends that make Maverick’s into laughingstock, a first turn with blackout-inducing 5 G’s, and relentless pacing throughout. I fought for my consciousness on that first turn, where my vision began to turn dark as night even though it the time was only morning, and won a victory as soon as we crested that second hill. Then I was treated to the most balls-to-the-wall intense coaster I have ever ridden. NOTHING compares to being thrown from side-to-side on every single turn, whipped from one side of your seat to the other on every directional change, and yanked down each airtime hill with unrestrained madness. As soon as I got off Intimidator 305, I knew I had a new #1 coaster. I couldn’t muster myself to ride it again that day, however, because of its sheer intensity. I wasn't as floored by the rest of Kings Dominion, but this coaster is absolutely phenomenal!

First Drop Pace Intensity
I knew that this coaster was going to be great going in, but it still managed to blow my expectations away. Definitely be sure to get a front row ride, the sense of speed is off the charts. The first turn is loaded with positive Gs and I found myself greying out twice out of my three rides. The turn after the first hill also provides some incredible speed. You just tear through the layout and the transitions are relentless. The ride is fairly smooth, but I found the back to have a noticeable rattle, especially during moments of higher positive Gs. Right after getting off I knew for sure that this was the best steel coaster I have ever ridden. It's just such a blast from start to finish. What a ride.
-
Airtimes Pace Intensity
I'm so glad to have this at my home park. Everyone already knows that this has some of the best positive gs and transitions ever, but there are other aspects of this ride that don't get talked about enough. The airtime is great. The first drop gives strong sustained ejector, the first Camelback gives about four seconds of ejector, and the transition after the Camelback gives an amazing ejector/lateral combination. Even the trimmed hill gives good flojector in the front. The sense of speed is probably my favorite part though. Experiencing all these forces while going over 80mph is a one a million sensation. Best at KD.

Pace Intensity Layout
The most intense coaster out there, if you like intensity you have found it, plus the whip is a nice aspect.
-
Airtimes Intensity
Forever the most intense coaster on Earth. A true masterpiece that is only held back in my rankings by the coasters ahead focusing more on airtime.
-
Intensity Smoothness Layout
Incredible coaster. One of the most intense rides I have ever experienced. The first drop is great and the legendary first turn makes you grey out every single time. The rest of the ride is just constant high speed transitions that whip you side to side and there's even some floater thrown in to mix it up. 10/10 for sure.
-
Airtimes Pace Intensity Lap Bar
This is the single most intense roller coaster I've ridden and is my #3 coaster overall. It's such an intense rush that's sure to make you grey out and potentially black out. Plus throw in some excellent airtime moments and you've got one heck of an insane ride. The restraints are a bit annoying but they do not affect the perfection of this masterpiece
-
Airtimes Pace Intensity Reliability
This is defiantly the best Intamin I've ridden and the most intense coaster I've ridden. It has 2 insane ejector airtime moments. The snaps are insane as they fling you to the side of the train. And the drop is stunning. And the first turn is a easy greyout. Overall this is my number #2 and its pretty close to being my number #1 coaster
-
First Drop Intensity
Best coaster at KD, however I haven’t ridden the Dominator because of the extremely long lines (maybe tomorrow!). First drop will def have you graying out-but it’s so fast you come out of that quickly, it is extremely jerky around the tight turns and angles, and will rattle your brain a bit-but by far the most intense coaster I’ve ridden (Which is what you want in a coaster, right?) A must ride for any coaster enthusiast that visits KD!
-
Pace Masterpiece Intensity Reliability
Incredible sense of speed. Bone crushing g’s. The snappiest transitions on any coaster ever. Above average airtime. Feels five minutes, lasts one. Legitimately cannot get better than this. 11/10.

First Drop Masterpiece Intensity
I wish that Cedar Fair would install more Intamin rides. Fury 325 was great but X

First Drop Intensity Smoothness Airtimes Intensity
As someone who visits Kings Dominion multiple times a year and has ridden this coaster so much I can't even count anymore, I suggest riding this roller coaster at least one time. The main talking point of the roller coaster is the intensity mainly after the first drop. This part of the ride is strange in my opinion, some days I feel there is just enough intensity and sometimes too much intensity. Be prepared for at least a grey-out during that turn, or if you are me, a nose bleeds (true story). Sometimes I wish you got a little more airtime in the hills, though you are going really fast so you would not feel as much even without the harness. This ride is not the most re rideable due to that intensity and I have had a trip ending early because of headaches that this ride has given my friends, which is why I say sometimes the intensity is too much. I suggest riding this last before you leave the park, and it is a really fun ride in the dark. Though if the intensity is not your thing, this may not be your favorite coaster.
-
Pace Intensity Too short
Now, it's been 5-6 years since I rode this and I really really want to ride it again. I'm all about intensity and I liked it, but I only clearly remember the first turn. I greyed out like most do. Compared to Millennium force and watching POV's again I-305 it's a little shorter and more intense. At the time, it was the best coaster in the park so we rode it 2 or 3 times before we got extremely tired which never happens! It's not Fury or Orion, but it's still world class.
-
Airtimes Theming
I rode this ride for the first time last year, on the fourth day of our trip to the USA. I love this ride it have what i need from a coaster like Airtime, Height and G Forces. Also it was not busy that day the longest wait for this coaster was 15 minutes so we dit it in the night like 12 times with 3 greay out moments that i never experiences at a rollercoaster before. It lacks on theming but that is almost every rollercoaster in America if you live in Euope. But this one is my number 1 for sure and a long time i think.
-
First Drop Intensity
this thing is honestly scary...looking up at it you legit start to have 2nd thoughts. the first drop/turn is no doubt the most intense thing ive ever experienced. the 2nd half of the track is amazing as well, roaring thru CRAZY laterals at MAJOR SPEED. Skyrush is my fav coaster but i305 does claim the title for best ride ive ever received. It was last day of season (late october during fright fest) at 9:55pm (last ride of day and season) in 36 degrees from the back row. just imagine flying thru the frigid darkness..surreal to say the least
-
Fun Masterpiece Intensity Harness
This is one of Intamin's truly elite coasters. The first turn after the 300 foot drop is guaranteed to make you grey out and the high-speed maneuvers that switch you from right to left provide excellent forces. The harness is a bit annoying but if it wasn't there I don't think I'd be writing this review right now.

-
Pace Intensity Smoothness
Absolutely the most intense coaster I've ever experienced.
-
Pace Intensity Smoothness
Whoever thought to combine Maverick and Millennium Force into one coaster was bonkers, and I don't know why they built it at Kings Dominion of all places, and yet here we are. Intimidator 305 is possibly the most intense roller coaster in the world. Huge positive Gs, enormous giga level speed, and relentless transitions all happen at the same time, and with the wind in your face in the front row, you'll be begging this ride for mercy. Thankfully, there are breaks of airtime between all of the intense moments, which is what makes this ride work, as it does have a little bit of remorse. The new soft collars are even better than the old ones, so my only complaint about this ride is now out the window. This coaster is absolutely ridiculous and will probably get torn down for a more tame B&M or Mack giga in the next 20 years, so let's enjoy it while it's still kicking our asses.
-
-
First Drop Pace Intensity Harness Discomfort
Intimidator 305 is extraordinarily intense, likely the most intense coaster on the planet. You WILL gray out, if not black out, around the first turn. Other than that, it's a series of high-speed turns. It's incredibly smooth, and incredibly fun. The one drawback is there is an unnecessary over-the-shoulder restraint. On occasion this will cause some headbanging around the tight transitions. The restraint is not particularly comfortable to begin with either. Overall, though, incredible ride.
-
Pace Masterpiece Intensity Airtimes Layout
This ride is so intense and is so well paced. It’s my 3rd favorite coaster, but this ride needs more airtime, and I feel like it could’ve been a longer ride.
-
-
-
Masterpiece Intensity
The only coaster that genuinely still makes me scared. I feel like plummeting down a skycraper on the first drop. The relentless speed up to the trimmed hill, and the snappy transitions are simply incredible!
-
Masterpiece Intensity Layout Theming Dead spots
"Dead spots" was the closest thing to "I hate the trimbrakes and the last part would be so much better without them" that I could find.
-
Intensity Discomfort Dead spots
I respect what this ride does. I got severe tunnel vision from the pullout of the drop all the way to the crest of the first airtime hill - that's some insane sustained intensity (to the point of discomfort and a bit of panic). But after that, it just seemed to durdle aimlessly to get back to the station. The transitions were whippy, but it was just long low turn after long low turn. I found it a bit monotonous; it's called the Maverick turns section, but there's so much more variety and better pacing on Maverick than just sharp transitions between s-curves.
-
First Drop Intensity Headbanging Harness
9.0 out of 10. fast, fast and very fast. rough ride but not to the point that it is uncomfortable. the first hill is where it is at.
-
Fun Intensity Smoothness Too short Disappointing! Airtimes
It was overall an enjoyable experience, and I would ride it again, it's just really overhyped and overrated!
-
Intensity Layout Harness
By far my no. 1 Steel. Super fun coaster with a layout so intense that one has no idea what is even happening.
-
Pace Smoothness Harness Disappointing!
I still say that this is one of the world's most overrated coasters ever. The intensity is massively overrated and I don't understand why people consider it to be so intense. The first turn around I grey out the same amount on a number of coasters, shoot even Back Lot Stunt Coaster! The layout is very bland in my opinion but also unique. I love the weird airtime/lateral hill, but the first giant hill and the back to back turn sections just don't do it for me. I do enjoy the airtime hills near the end but they're over so quickly. I think if this ride replaced the back to back turns with airtime hills, it would be one of my favorites. but for now it honestly feels like a less intense version of Maverick.
-
Pace Airtimes Intensity
-
First Drop Pace Intensity Theming
A coaster that is so intense that it is, legitimately, too intense for many people. It's a coaster that aggressively pushes the limits while somehow, even years later, remaining perfectly comfortable. When this ride debuted with hard restraints, it was a nightmare. Ever since the park switched to soft OTSRs though, I've been in love.
