Airtimes Masterpiece Intensity
This thing absolutely rips through the course. Element flow is perfect and pacing is superb. Add that to the smoothness and comfort and you essentially get my favorite coaster ever! I can find no fault in this entire ride.

What a insanely amazing coaster, from the first drop to the brakes, it’s relentless, non stop amazingness, full of the speed, intensity, airtime, easily my number one of all time

Airtimes Pace Layout Theming Lap Bar
Iron Gwazi's layout is masterful in how it paces elements, with sustained forces slowly melding into intense pops of airtime throughout the duration of the ride. The highlights for me are obviously the roll and wave turn, both elements using the scale and speed of the ride to it's fullest potential, creating vast elements that sustain their unique forces for quite a duration of time. Personally, I find the presentation is just 'nice', and the queue is very tedious, but this is quickly offset with the actual ride. The first drop and outerbank deliver a ridiculous quantity of sustained ejector airtime, the roll is a violent blend of forceful hangtime and vicious laterals, which seemlessly blends into an overbank, and while not delivering positives like a thought it would, but the violent snap exiting was a nice suprise. The following wave turn is a seemless mix of ejector airtime and laterals, pushing you out at a perfect 45 degree angle for a good few seconds, with the 2 following off axis hills being brutally sharp snaps of airtime. The stall I find to easily be the weakest point of the layout, not offering any hangtime, and only a sub par amount of whip on the exit - however - the subsequent sucession of airtime moments are the most forceful I have experienced, 3/4 being not very sustained, but incredibly powerful, making you very familiar with your bulky restraint, and the final one being that extra bit more sustained with just as much strength. With a final snap into the brakes, Iron Gwazi really deserves the accalaids, and as someone who is normally very pessimistic when it comes to new coasters with hype, it was a lovely suprise to be so proven wrong.

Airtimes First Drop Intensity
Insanely fun. One of the best coasters I've ever been on. I just wanted to go on it over and over again (and I did lol). The first drop feels amazing, and there's never a dull moment. The amount of airtime on this ride is insane.

Insane roller coaster. Inversions, airtime, laterals, everything you can ask for at breakneck pacing.

Airtimes Masterpiece Ejectors
Holy crap this ride is absolute nuts. This ride has quite possibly the strongest airtime I've experienced. It is jam packed with incredibly sharp airtime especially the first drop, wave turn, and especially the double down. This is an absolutely incredible new coaster

Pace Masterpiece Ejectors
I have thought long and hard about it, but I cannot find anything wrong with this coaster. I was in pure euphoria the whole ride. The airtime is incredible, so is the downright violent pacing. I was at a loss for words the moment the train hit the brake run. It is my new #1 and I don't know what will ever top it.

Pace Intensity Ejectors Capacity
The prelift section has a dose of speed (and laterals) before engaging the lift. The first drop is easily one of my favorites - in the back, there’s standing ejector air all the way down. Unlike a typical RMC, the pullout is shockingly intense - I started to see black on the climb up the outer banked hill. The outer banked hill itself doesn’t deliver the goods until the crest, where an abrupt transition from laterals and some positives to strong, banked ejector air occurs. But it’s sustained the entire way down, even as the track adjusts itself back to zero degrees roll, and there’s more strong positive Gs going into the death roll. The rise into the death roll is one of two breather moments in Iron Gwazi’s otherwise rampant layout, with light positives and not terribly noticeable laterals - though the front row has ejector airtime going into the roll. But unlike the slower, much more gradual barrel roll downdrop on Twisted Timbers, this inversion whips riders to the left, pins riders to the side and throws them out the entire way down. Sustained laterals plus ejector-like hangtime makes for a truly unhinged and iconic element. The overbanked inversion (“Reverse Stengel cutback”?) happens quickly, with crazy visuals and headchoppers within the wood supports, though it doesn’t have as much punch as the rest of the layout. This is the only moment I found to be better in the front, delivering a burst of standing ejector air on the drop, while the back just gets whipped into and out of the overbank. Thankfully though, the outer banked wave turn (“Twist and Shout”) over the station picks up the pace again, with strong whip immediately followed by an unexpectedly sustained moment of sideways, standing ejector airtime. The step up delivers more ejector, while the wave turn feels like a less sustained but much stronger version of Lightning Rod’s. Following that, the stall is solid (though less of a standout moment than Pantheon’s and Jersey Devil’s), it’s a short breather moment before the insane, ejector-loaded finale. The off-axis hill delivers a burst of ejector air, followed by whip into and strong positive Gs on the turnaround. The “Asian Camelback” has two more strong bursts of ejector, with stronger whip into the final turnaround. Then the last hill, which was higher off the ground than expected, delivers one last moment of ejector air all the way down. The turn into the brake run offers one last dose of whip, and the brakes come all too soon - they’re just as strong and sudden as expected. As soon as I got off my first lap on Iron Gwazi, I was immediately blown away. It went from top 10 in the morning to top 3 in the afternoon - Iron Gwazi runs even faster later in the day, with the final few hills delivering violent ejector airtime. For me, the highlights on Iron Gwazi are the death roll and outer banked wave turn, but the first drop, outer banked hill and final 4 hills were phenomenal too. While it doesn’t have the most elements or the longest duration, every single element on Iron Gwazi counts, packing in significant amounts of ejector airtime, ridiculous speed and/or whip every time. This makes Iron Gwazi feel short but pretty satisfying after every single ride, enough to entice me back in line again and again. Iron Gwazi feels like RMC’s take on Skyrush - tall in height, short in length but absurdly fast-paced the entire time - but even better than Skyrush. I preferred the back due to the stronger, more sustained and comfortable airtime, along with the increased whip.

Airtimes First Drop Masterpiece
A pure masterpiece. Absolutely RIPS through the layout but you still can take in every element. I never thought Steve would be dethroned for me but it barely is!

Airtimes First Drop Intensity
Better than I ever expected it to be. Iron Gwazi is a masterpiece. The trains look phenomenal and the ride itself looks amazing as well. The first drop is my favorite drop on any RMC coaster. The outerbank is fantastic. Incredibly strong sustained airtime throughout. The death roll is super whippy and overbank following does the same. The wave turn is my favorite wave turn there is. Whippy and just out of your seat airtime. The next hill and wave turn are an amazing sequence full of ejector and the stall has great hang and whip. It ends with a bang as the last 4 hills all provide great ejector. New favorite RMC incredible coaster.

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Reliability
This ride is amazing. 5 stars. The ejector pops are amazing, and the death roll is too. The only problem is the ops. There can be no wind at all, and they'll shut it down to wind.

Pace Masterpiece Intensity
Iron Gwazi is a contender for the best roller coaster in the United States, and maybe even the world. It really is American Zadra- incredibly intense, relentless pacing, smooth, and full of sustained ejector airtime moments. This ride does not feel like an RMC. It's a completely different beast and offers a much more intense, breathtaking ride than any of their other coasters. It has the perfect mix of powerful, sustained moments of airtime and quicker moments of violent ejector that all complement each other nicely. Ride ops will always allow riders to ride in minimal verification, which leads to crazy airtime and bruised thighs. This ride leaves you in the dust. By the time you're processing what just happened on the death roll, you're already through the cutback and heading into the wave turn- an incredibly sustained moment of sideways ejector airtime. The finale of bunny hills/trick track portions all deliver. I dont think this ride will ever leave my top 3. Iron Gwazi is a true masterpiece. Don't just visit florida to experience this ride, pack your bags and move to Tampa so this beast is in your backyard.
