First Drop Smoothness Ejectors Dead spots
What a fun coaster! A unique first drop leads into excellent ejectors, inversions and airtime. The barrel roll is perfectly executed. That's why the "quarry wall crawl" feels so out of place. It's not horribly slow, but it's a noticeable change in pace and intensity, as evidenced by a decrease in riders' yelling and screaming during this part. However, that's soon followed by the drop down the quarry wall into the tunnel and then the abrupt ending (which I really like), so all of that helps to make up for the "crawl." 5 stars from me.

Beautiful little RMC. They were still obviously refining the element shaping, but the identity (and certainly the force) is there

Airtimes First Drop Layout Too short
This is a great ride, but I'm surprised at how highly it's ranked. It's really fun while it's going but it's just pretty short. However, that first drop is nuts and all of the moments where you're horizontal are great! The quarry wall interaction is incredible as well. Probably my favorite at the park.

Airtimes First Drop Comfort
The quarry wall drop videos just do it no justice!!!. Amazing ride.

First Drop Location Pace Too short
I love this ride and always will. It is my #3 and at the time I rode it was my #2. I only got one ride in on this coaster, and it was an empty train. This is due to 1/3 of the train’s rows being closed. I personally didn’t find the quarry wall section to be slow, even with so few people on my train. Hopefully next December when I’m in San Antonio I will get good enough rides to bump it back up to #2.

First Drop Location Intensity Too short
Absolutely elite, one of my top favs, and as the score says one of the top rides in the world. First drop is one of the best ever. Zero-g is perfectly executed. Drop off the cliff and into the tunnel is a perfect ending, even if it does come too soon.

Airtimes First Drop Comfort
This is the best coaster at Fiesta Texas. The first drop is very intense and the entire ride is smooth...up until the jolting stop at the end.

Lap Bar Fun Ejectors
The best coaster in Texas. The first drop into the tunnel is just awesome. Some will complain about the pacing on the wall, but my ride was just fine with it.

Airtimes Capacity Ejectors Dead spots
really good in the beginning and end, the middle on the quarry wall is a dead spot. it has little to no speed but the drop off the quarry wall makes up for it! I recommend it even if there is a dead spot.

First Drop Location Fun Capacity
It was incredible. I would ride it 1000 times. The only downside was when I was visiting Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Iron Rattler was only running 1 train and you couldn't really pick where you were going to sit. The ride operator told us where to sit so that everyone could get a ride on it. I doubt it is like this all the time but the ride was so fun that it makes up for the limited capacity. I loved it!

First Drop Location Ejectors Too short Dead spots
I probably rode this thing about 10 times. It has some of the best moments of airtime in the world and the quarry is a great setting, but halfway through it slows to a crawl and it ends before it can make up for the lost time.

Location Layout Ejectors
So fast-paced and fun! Really unique location and layout. My first couple rides were lackluster, but I'm glad I gave it another chance. Once it warms up it tears through the last half.

Airtimes First Drop Intensity Too short Dead spots
This ride gets 5 stars, but it's not my favorite ride at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It's a masterpiece for sure from beginning to end. That first drop is nuts because the first drop gives you ejector and lateral. The following banked turns on the quarry before the barrel roll provide some fast paced sections, and that barrel roll is intense. The best part of the ride is the drop off the quarry wall, and I recommend everyone to try this ride in the back row once just for that drop. One of my favorite drops on any coaster ever. The only negative I can say besides the duration is on the quarry in between the drop and barrel roll is a dead spot where the coaster loses its speed. I think honestly, this would be my favorite if they gave it one more lap like the old Rattler did after the tunnel. Maybe they could've put a station flyby with a zero g stall, followed by 3 or 4 airtime hills and then a barrel roll into the brake run, a la Outlaw Run! Amazing ride, RMC did an amazing job with this!

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors
This is an incredible ride. The ejector is amazing as it is on all RMCs and the first drop and quarry dive are excellent. Plus I didn't find the quarry wall section to be nearly as slow as everyone says. Overall a fantastic ride that's in my top 10

Airtimes Location Comfort
Iron Rattler is an amazing ride. The first drop is fantastic and the interaction with the quarry is great. The gerstlauer trains are fantastic and provide plenty of room. This comes in handy for that awesome zero-g roll that gives some great hang. The section on the quarry was great I thought and provided some great airtime moments. The tunnel finale is cool as well.

First Drop Masterpiece Ejectors Too short
Where do I start with irat, this is one of the best creations from the legendary Alan schilke, from the twisted drop that paid homage to the original rattlers drop minus the 7 lateral gs lol. The drop does give insane ejector and some reasonable lateral force as well. The ride than has many more ejector moments and an awesome zero g roll that offers a nice bit of hang time which I think is a nice contrast from the ejector airtime. Then after a less speedy but still fun section atop the quarry wall comes the greatest airtime moment on the ride, the drop off the quarry wall. This is one of the greatest ejector moments ever created, it beats the first drop by a mile. The ejector tanks you upwards and is sustained for a second or 2 adding to the insanity that is irat. Then after that there is a cool tunnel before a nice pop of air into the brakes. Overall iron rattler is a top tier rmc that is short but incredibly sweet!!!

First Drop Location Ejectors Too short Dead spots
This is my 6th favorite coaster I've ridden as of 4/23/20. The first drop is amazing and the drop off the quarry is really fun even though it's overrated. The reason I say it has dead spots is because of when it's on top of the quarry. It's also too short but it's an RMC so I can't complain too much.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors
This ride is absolutely incredible. It’s been my favorite coaster for 2 years now and I love this thing to death. The only con is it loses a little bit of speed on the quarry but that isn’t in the list of cons. I wish I could give more pros though this ride is nuts. Each airtime hill gives amazing airtime and the drop is just insane. Even the turn into the break run gives insane airtime. Overall, this is easily the best roller coaster in Texas and I recommend it to anyone who loves airtime and RMC.

Airtimes First Drop Dead spots
4 out of 5. The first drop is so enjoyable great speed and the twist to it. There is dead spots in the middle as it rides toward the back, but the ending with the blind drop that you do not really see coming makes up for the boring mid section.

First Drop Fun Ejectors Too short
The first drop on this is the best drop on any Rocky Mountain construction roller coaster. When you drop you actually get some crazy Laterals in the middle of the drop. The first hill you go over onto the quarry wall you get some insane Ejector And let’s not forget the drop off the quarry Into the tunnel is really good sustained Flo-jector airtime my only Complaint is it could be longer and some of the other elements could be a bit more forceful. However this is one terrific coaster

Airtimes First Drop Comfort Theming
Go on a dead day, the ride ops will let you stay on the ride, stop complaining about the length. There isn’t a single element on this ride that feels boring or pointless. This is the second best RMC, with number one being the bae steel vengeance

Airtimes First Drop Location Too short
What a ride. Some say it;s super overrated, others say it's one of the best RMC's. I'm in the middle of those claims. I think Irat is somewhere in the top half of the latter of RMC's. The first drop is great and is quite frankly one of RMC's best drops, the seats are comfy, has all the air you'd want in an RMC, and more. It has one inversion, but the hangtime is amazing because you're going so slow. This is also an issue. At the top of the wall, it is so slow. But after that, there's a great dive off the wall, and you even go inside the wall. You have to appreciate how well the ride interacts with the quarry wall, and makes for one of the best settings of any coaster. Overall, Irat is really awesome. It isn't the best rmc, but it's a really good one, and deserves some mored credit within the community.

First Drop Location Ejectors Too short
Iron Rattler is a masterpiece. If any coaster needed the RMC treatment, it was this one. An amazing concept executed very poorly by a bad manufacturer. RMC swooped in and turned this coaster into the masterpiece it was meant to me. The trains are the most open of any RMC, with great lap bars and open trains, allowing you to wave your hands however you please. It has the best first drop I've ever experienced on a coaster, twisting left and right down the quarry wall into the gulch, steep all the way down. There are four ejector hills, and a huge last drop off of the quarry wall into a tunnel, giving sustained ejector airtime all the way down. There are also four overbanked turns, all twisty and sharp, one if which drops down the wall of a curved overbanked drop. The barrel roll is perfect with its whip and its hangtime, and it's at the heart of the coaster, pulling the ride together to perfection. The coaster is unfortunately a bit shorter than I'd like, but it is oh so sweet and perfect otherwise.
