Obviously a very cool coaster being the first interlocking loops. It's pretty fun and the loops are surprisingly forceful. The in the dark helixes last way longer than you think and don't provide forces but are pretty cool nonetheless. Fun ride overall and not too intense.

First Drop Headbanging
I didn't love it because it rattled my head around. I do like the tunnel though. It's not very intense but not tame.

First Drop Inversions Location Dead spots
Overall, it’s quite smooth for an older Arrow (and much more enjoyable than its larger neighbor down the road, Anaconda). Dead spot w/ second lift, but first drop has sustained and powerful ejector in the back, and overall, a beautiful coaster.

Loch Ness monster is a very underrated ride it has great airtime a strong setting and pretty smooth. Plus that tunnel has a great sense of speed

Location Fun
I think I liked the helix more than the average person, it's pretty neat. The feature of interlocking loops is cool and I love that it's surrounded by trees even though it's in the middle of the park. Not the best Arrow, not the worst, but definitely one of the most important in their history

Location Masterpiece Layout Dead spots
Loch Ness Monster is one of the most beautiful roller coasters in the world. From its design to its placement—it just doesn't get better than this. That's not to say the coaster isn't great though. LNM remains one of the smoothest Arrow loopers I've ever ridden (in a similar league as Tennessee Tornado in my honest opinion). Loch Ness Monster is a timeless, classic, great steel coaster which holds its own amongst a park full of modern coasters she helped to inspire.

Airtimes First Drop Inversions Dead spots
This absolute classic arrow is such a blast in the back row. The sustained ejector in the back on those first two main drops and even the drop off the second lift is amazing and helped out a ton by the ridiculous amount of room you get with the arrow otsrs. The loops are also super cool being the only interlocking ones left standing and are crazy forceful like a B&M invert. The tunnel helix is pretty slow and kind of uninteresting but still cool. A very long coaster that is a massive icon and just so much fun.

Location Fun
I wouldn’t call it smooth, but this is the smoothest arrow looper that I’ve ridden recently. The location is top-notch and this ride still has some punch. Great memories riding this as a kid as well.

Nice surprise! Location
Yes the arrow transitions are janky as hell. Yes it’s old. But damn does it not feel fun. Love the triple helix

Typical arrow. Decent layout but rough and dated.

Inversions Location Fun Rattle
While I do have a bias towards this ride, I think it's a pretty solid Arrow Looper. The back will definitely give you the best overall ride. The cave helix is a bit of a filler but aside from that, it's very fun and has decent transitions for an Arrow Looper. It certainly shows its age but is still very enjoyable!

Airtimes Inversions Nice surprise!
This ride is criminally underrated & it's my favorite Arrow looper, yes over the likes of Tennessee Tornado.
-
Airtimes Location Intensity
Great airtime in back rows and the loops are very intense just a little head banging in the helix

Airtimes Inversions Fun Discomfort Dead spots
This ride was kinda boring, kinda fun, and kinda rough. All in all it was fine, but nothing special. UPDATE: I got a re-ride and it was definitely better. It was less jerky and I appreciated the quirky layout more. Floater air on the drops and positives on the loops are definitely the highlight.

Fun Intensity Rattle
This is a classic Arrow coaster that has held up well over the years. The first drop isn't huge, but for some reason I find it really thrilling. Yeah, it rattles quite a bit throughout, but it's never enough to cause discomfort.

Inversions Location Layout Headbanging Discomfort
Nessie is a solid Arrow looper with a nice location and a good layout, but it is unfortunately hindered by some rough transitions. I love the massive indoor helix. The best experience will be towards the back. I am glad the park still has this classic ride around, but it could benefit from some retracking.

Still regret not going on this twice. Loved the interlocking loops and the overall layout. A classic arrow.

Theming Inversions Fun
One of my favorite arrows ever. It's location and length make it such a different experience. The loops over the water are awesome and the tunnel just seems to keep going and going. Such a great classic.

Airtimes Location Dead spots
Great sustained floater on the 3 drops. Nothing else really but those 3 moments are good enough for it to be a decent ride plus its relatively smooth and just a fun ride. Definitely an upper tier arrow looper.

Airtimes First Drop Location Dead spots
This was my first coaster I ever rode so it does have a lot of sentimental value for me. However it's still a great ride. There's some surprisingly good airtime and the ride is very long and has an excellent setting. However there are quite a few dead spots. Overall a very good ride

Location Pace Rattle Discomfort Lap Bar
This was my favorite ride as a kid. But now I am 6 ft 2in, and when I rode it again as an adult - it was the MOST PAINFUL roller coaster I have ever experienced. My back was utterly crushed and wincing the entire ride. DO NOTrecommend if you are taller than 5 ft 10in.

Inversions Location Fun Rattle Dead spots
This was my second ever rollercoaster and my first-ever roller coaster with an inversion, and lastly my one of my favorite Arrow Dynamics Looper. While this is far from the most exciting ride in the park, it is still very fun with a semi intense helix and the two intertwining loops. Though this ride is not perfect and its age shows. This ride has a noticeable rattle, while not painfully overbearing it is still there, and the classic rough arrow transitions are there also and may cause a soft headbang. Despite this, it is very re-rideable and I ride this around three or four times every trip to the park, and during my seasonal shifts, I give it a good ride every day. The other problem with this ride is that there are two lift hills, while the second one feels faster, it is still there and it hurts the pacing of the ride. I still find this a fun ride, though its age shows, it is a very essential credit when going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and I suggest giving it a ride, as it is still a great arrow looper despite its age.

Airtimes Location Duration Headbanging Dead spots
Lochness is a very scenic ride that takes place over the Rhine river. It is smoother than most arrow loopers and has a very unique layout consisting of two vertical loops, A tunnel, a second lift, and various turn around. Besides the obvious interlocking appearance, the loops are't special and the turn arounds are boring. The Tunnel and second lift are a huge dead spot. The ride does give ejector airtime in the back row on the first drop.

Location Fun Layout Headbanging
A true Arrow classic! The ride gets things off into a lift hill that takes a very long time. The coaster then does a straight down drop to the Rhine River before flying through a turn into the first vertical loop. The two loops on this coaster are very forceful, the hill before the mid-course brake run has a great pop of airtime and the majority of the ride is actually pretty smooth... until the tunnel. The tunnel holds what I call "The Helix Of Death", many people say it on other coasters... this is helix is what I define as a that term. This helix is nothing but pure headbanging torture. I'd say keep your head very still in order to not get beat up. The coaster itself is beautiful and enjoyable, probably my favorite Arrow (I haven't been on Magnum XL-200 or Tennessee Tornado by the time of this review).

First Drop Inversions Location
Magnum notwithstanding, Loch Ness Monster is one of my favorite Arrow coasters. It's scenic, smooth, and cinematic. Great swooping drops over the water, two excellent loops, and a long tunnel helix with special effects makes for a wholly enjoyable classic ride.

Location Layout Duration Rattle Discomfort
Loch Ness Monster is an amazing Arrow. The loops are fantastic. The ride is beautiful. The helix is fun. However, there are a few moments where the ride shows its age. There's some rough transitions, particularly after the first hill and after the helix. The trains are uncomfortable for taller riders. However, the ride is extremely fun in spite of its flaws.
-
Inversions Intensity Discomfort
The transitions on this Arrow looper weren't as bad as some others, but it was still uncomfortable. The helix was laughable; I could feel every track piece transition into the next, as if they couldn't even track a continuous curve properly. The interlocking loops, while picturesque, felt like crashing into a truck, and the OTSR did not agree with my shoulders.

Location Fun Headbanging
Loch Ness Monster was the first coaster I rode at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It’s the best Arrow looper I have ever ridden, beating Tennessee Tornado by a slim margin due to its surprisingly intense interlocking loops and the awesome helix-that-goes-on-forever in a faux cavern. However, the worst moment of the ride is the ascent just after the second loop; I hit my head pretty hard on the restraint, so thank goodness the ride hit the brake run right then and there. The hill and turn that wraps around the Land of the Dragons kids area is not super enjoyable either. All in all, the scenic setting along the Rhine river combined with aforementioned reasons above make Lochy a pretty fun classic coaster.
