    Launch Pace Ejectors Theming Reliability

Yes I know it's an Intimain, so putting reliability as a con is as oblivious as how lackluster the theming is for this ride. Regardless, a very solid Intimain Blitz coaster that utilizes the terrain very well. I really enjoy the ride in the back and the deathjector pops are insane! Night rides are really great, especially with the only theming of different colored lights on the track being illuminated.

Airtimes Intensity Ejectors Too short Theming

Pantheon is an incredible ride. It gives some wild ejector airtime with several powerful launches. The ride may be a little on the short side, but it's otherwise a phenomenal ride.

Insanely good ride that's gotten way less love than it deserves by a lot of people.

    Pace Fun Ejectors Theming Capacity

This thing is a masterpiece. I think my favorite part about this ride is how yes, these are elements I've done before, however they're done in such a unique way. Starting at the beginning. First launch has a solid kick. WILD hangtime on that roll. Fun drop out. Trick track is really fun, smooth and just a nice little addition that feels more interesting than other little hills/turns on rides. Next up, first swing. Nice stall out. Then, this is where the ride really gets going. The backwards airtime is absolutely amazing. Spike is awesome. Two more great ejector pops and then a solid drop that feels like it absolutely hauls. Next up is the outward bank. To me, this feels like one of the old school Intamin overbanks. Very tall, fast and smooth but not a ton force. Good lats in every row, floater in the front and a really solid drop out of it in the back. The pop into the turn flows EXTREMELY well, transitioning from a nice airtime pop into positives really nicely. The stall next is really awesome. Solid whip in and out, nice second or two of hangtime. Great headchopper and then S Bends and that final wave turn is a nice, smooth way of ending off a ride. Every element on this ride is just really, really solid. It feels like different takes on elements I've already done before. I think something else that makes this ride really great to me is just how fun it is. Sure, it's not as aggressive as something like Maverick or I305, but it still has its intense moments and feels like a more enjoyable, reridable experience. Also, the restraints are great. Super open and comfortable and none of the squeezing Mack restraints have. My only big criticism is the capacity. Operations are just not all that great on this ride, and sure BGW's operations arent the best (looking at you apollo) but it really feels like the crew could've been operating this ride better. But still, lukewarm capacity and absent theming doesn't change the fact that this is an EXTREMELY fun, really nice flowing and just awesome ride. Busch and Intamin really have a fantastic ride on their hands and I hope the industry notices it.

    Airtimes Hangtime Duration Theming

The first launch is short but surprisingly punchy. The zero-g winder has a dose of fantastic hangtime, followed by some solid positive Gs at the bottom. The miniature outer banked hills before the swing launch don’t provide much (if any) airtime. Instead, they offer wonky doses of laterals to the right and the left. As the launch isn’t sustained (it happens in quick bursts), it’s hard to feel the strong accelerational Gs. The first boost and airtime hill doesn’t provide much. Climbing the top hat for the first time, there’s a bit of weightlessness as the train stalls out and begins rolling backwards. But the second boost is noticeably more powerful than the first. This time, the airtime hill induces a sudden pop of ejector, followed by a burst of positives in the valley and another sudden pop of ejector on the step up into the spike. Especially in the back, the spike is a blissful moment of sustained floater (perfect 0G, pretty much), and one of Pantheon’s highlights. The spike is comparable to a camelback hill of a quality B&M hyper - not overly intense, just pure, blissful fun - except riding 90° straight up is easily a more unique visual (Sidenote, to compare speeds from my rides, the back car was entirely on the 2-tube track, with the 4th car halfway on as well…). Looking right during the ascent provides a rare view over the rest of Pantheon. Following that, the final boost is insanity: another ejector burst on the step down, strong positives in the valley, followed by the airtime hill at full-speed delivering crazy, violent ejector. Then Pantheon races up the top hat. In the front, there’s a solid moment of ejector up the top hat, while the back has some weightlessness. In any row, Pantheon’s 95° drop delivered, but it was exceptional in the back row - with sustained ejector air - and my favorite moment on Pantheon. The only drops I prefer are Fury 325’s and El Toro’s. The next valley isn’t too forceful, though it’s hard to appreciate the riverside setting due to Pantheon’s blistering speed. As expected, the outer banked hill isn’t very extreme, but the dose of laterals, fantastic sideways views and flojector air on the descent made for a solid element regardless. It’s definitely better in the front, the airtime is stronger and more sustained up there. The banked hop into the stall provided a short, not too noticeable pop of airtime, while the zero-g stall itself is the final highlight of Pantheon. The zero-g stall provides graceful, sustained hangtime high above the ground while somehow feeling fast. It’s one of my new favorite inversions for sure - flopping onto a lap bar while upside down is odd, but very fun. Then, the headchopper under the top hat goes by in a blur. The following S-bend is fairly whippy, like a faster version of Cheetah Hunt’s. And finally, Pantheon ends with a bang - the wall stall is surprisingly strong, delivering sideways flojector airtime that’s pretty sustained as well. My first 2 laps on Pantheon were in the afternoon. Undeniably, it was very good, but less intense than expected and not the top-10 contender I hoped for. The last two evening and night rides changed that though - Pantheon seemed to be running faster, every element delivered more, amplified by the pitch black setting (the lighting package nor the lights on the catwalks ever turned on). I found Pantheon itself to be eventful enough that the lack of theming wasn’t a major issue to me. On the whole, Pantheon is less centered around a single element, delivering a long, well-rounded experience with some of everything (all kinds of airtime, hangtime, some whip, backwards and fast sections) packed into one fulfilling layout. In that sense, Pantheon feels like a next-generation Maverick - and that’s really the only comparison I can make, considering it’s drastically unlike anything else I’ve ridden so far. TL;DR - Pantheon lived up to my expectations as a world-class coaster. The night rides elevated Pantheon to my top 10 overall and my new favorite coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The 95° drop, airtime hill launch and spike were the highlights, but the zero-g stall and wall stall were fantastic too… actually, Pantheon doesn’t have any “bad” elements - they’re all interesting, powerful and/or sustained. While no single element is the best in its genre (besides the swing launch… that thing is insane), the variety of sensations, amount of airtime and consistent quality throughout the layout makes Pantheon truly top-notch. Well, it’s always left me satisfied and smiling, so…

    Airtimes Intensity Layout

This ride is absolutely outstanding. The airtime is very strong. The ride is extremely intense and aggressive and the launches are great and that airtime hill in the middle of launch going backwards is just unbelievable. This is an incredible coaster and easily in my top 5

    Airtimes Pace Hangtime Theming

I am absolutely shocked how good this ride is. The airtime and hangtime is ridiculous. Every element delivers. I was laughing hysterically the entire ride. I could not choose my favorite moment, but the backwards launch and top hat are truly spectacular elements. It is a perfect addition to BGW and easily ranks in my top 10. I feel like many people will sleep on this ride because it looks rather tame in the POVs and even off-ride. You have to ride it yourself to see just how incredible it is. The only downside is the lack of theming but in terms of ride experience it is pretty much a perfect ride.

    Airtimes Lap Bar Layout Theming

While the lack of theming is disappointing, the ride itself more than makes up for it. This is one my favorite layouts ever. With a realitivly limited amount of elements it managed to pack in so many great forces. The section before the main launch section is a great warm up. The launch is decently punchy, the first inversion delivers great hangtime and positives coming out of it. The small outer banks also give good floater in the front, and some fun laterals for all riders. The multi-pass launch is one the most insane sequences I've experienced. Combing punchy launches, surprisingly strong positives going in and out of the spike, and insane ejector on the speed hill. The top hat is slow, but the drop in the back gives one of the best sustained ejector moments I've experienced. It's right up there with Skyrush's drop in my opinion. The vally of the drop also gives good positives, as it rises into the most underrated part of the ride, the outerbank. People say this has weak airtime, but every ride this has given me ejector airtime. I especially love this element in the back, as it starts off with strong floater, but turns into strong ejector going down the outerbank. The stall is amazing with the mix of hangtime, laterals, and near misses. The turn after the stall is another surprising moment of positive gs. The s-bends and wave turn have great laterals that are best experience on the right side of the train, and the wave turn even has some weak ejector airtime. This ride manages to combine an array of amazing forces with fantastic pacing. It also does all this with one of the most comfortable and open train designs out there. Of my favorites for sure. Plus night rides are amazing with that light package.

    Comfort Launch Masterpiece

Pantheon delivers. The layout is big and open, the wave turns are just like an RMC, the stall is phenomenal, the launches are great, airtime is varied and spread out. The ride's setting is awesome by the river. It is a lot like Velocicoaster minus the themeing and intensity. The Mercury launch section has amazing ejector air pops and the spike, tophat and wave provided nice floater. I don't see much to fault other than it being a bit lacking in theming. Definitely sits in my top 20. Also, the added lighting package makes it a great night ride.
