Theming Launch Fun
Good god, what a beautiful dark ride/coaster combo. This ride is incredible. Right from the start, it strikes a great balance between the campy atmosphere of a classic horror attraction and a genuinely creepy atmosphere. The false ending is one of my favorite moments in any attraction. The launch into Imhotep's mouth is also so great. Having been on the lamer Hollywood version several times in the last year or so, this one had even more impact. I love this ride so much, it's just near perfectly done.

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Too short
Went in without any idea what I was in store for and was really taken by the theming from start to finish. The queue was engaging, and the preshow elements were really fun. Provided just enough exposition to place the riders in the right mood for the fun to come. Compared to some indoor coasters relying on SFX, this has aged much better than some of the others. The animatronics, practical effects, and the coaster elements blend together beautifully. There are twist and turns and many surprises along the way. A coaster that tells a story? Yes, indeed. This shows what can be done with the technology. I can see others using this as a template for their rides moving forward.

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Dead spots
Always a good time! Nice dark ride with intense moments, it seems faster than it is too

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Layout
I love the theming, makes this ride super underrated. Real fire, amazing sound effects, cool lighting and great animatronics. I also really like the surprise, always gets first-time riders. Aside from that insane ejector pop after the main launch, the coaster sections aren’t great. But I love the theming so the ride’s a plus and the best ride in the park.

Airtimes Theming Comfort Too short
I have ridden this ride multiple times. Each getting even better, however we cannot forget about the tiny duration of the actual coaster elements after the launch. However, my last ride (a week ago) I experienced a rather enjoyable smooth ride. No discomfort whatsoever, and I find these lapbars EXTREMELY comfy and but sometimes on other occasions they feel loose. I wouldnt care if I rank this my top 5 coasters even though there are ones that are so much better. This ride just gives me that adrenaline and "I want more" even though it goes 40 mph.

Theming Fun Intensity Layout
This is a masterclass in coaster theming and you can't ask for much more from a coaster when it comes to storytelling and pure fun. It almost feels surreal like one of those fictional planet coaster rides where they put plenty of music, animatronics, and practical effects into the ride.

Airtimes Theming Nice surprise!
This is one of those examples of a themed coaster done right, it isn't too short but it isn't boring. I don't care about theming but it's been greatly executed on this ride. I also got airtime which was fun!

Theming Nice surprise! Launch
This was actually a super fun indoor premier coaster. All the super realistic and well done mummy theming is incredible and definitely up to the Universal standard and there are some awesome backwards sections, launches as well as some good airtime moments and intense tight turns. It’s a really long ride and the way the story just continually flows between dark ride and coaster section is flawless. Definitely my favorite indoor coaster.

The ride doesn’t do too much but the launches are fun and the theming is excellent.

I adore this ride. The theming takes it a longgg way. It's a very fun time.

Honestly, just a fun ride. My brother and I have so many early memories on this ride and still to this day it's a can't miss. This review would have been better if I had GOTTEM MY CUP OF COFFEE

Theming Launch Fun Too short
Great theming throughout the queue and ride, as Universal usually has. The uphill launch is great and there are a few good airtime moments on the ride. It feels really short and the section after the MCBR feels slow. I love the fire and mist effects throughout the ride and the part after the launch makes the ride.

Airtimes Theming Intensity
Wow. I rode this as a GP, and I liked it. Theming was great. I didn't care about airtime back then, but I remember getting whipped down the fake exit drop with some nice air. The launch was cool, intense indoor coaster and theming was scary and exciting. An adrenaline-boosting ride for sure.

Airtimes Theming Launch
The best indoor coaster there is hands down. The theming in the queue and on ride is fantastic. The first launch is great and the airtime you get after is very intense ejector. The rest of the first spaghetti bowl is filled with forceful turns and one other ejector bunny hill that throws you out of your seat. The fake exit is awesome and the drop off of it in the back row is violent. The rest of the way back to the brakes has one floater moment and some turns but isn't too crazy. No question the best ride in Studios and the best indoor coaster I have ever done.

Theming Launch Fun
Once upon a time Revenge of the mummy was my favorite coaster, then in the next year I rode it again and came off a little dissapointed, it was great as always but it didnt have the intensity that I thought it had, that´s just me tho.

Fun Duration
My favorite ride in all the universal parks. Not a wild coaster but the theming makes it great entertainment!

Theming Launch Fun
My fav. ride at Universal Studios. In my opinion the best indoor-themed-horror coaster. It has amazing scenery in the queue line, during the ride its fantastic. It has cool animatronics, effects (even fire), story telling and some cool (or scary) surprises for you if you ride it for the first time. It has a launch section and a backwards part. This coaster is a must-do! Thrill: 2.75/5. (concerning the coaster part, not the scary aspect)

Theming Launch Fun
This is a great coaster. The theming is AMAZING. It is the best indoor coaster I have ridden. I love how the fire shoots up right next to you. It really adds to the experience as you can feel the heat. This is a must ride coaster at the park if you love theming and thrill. It has a fun launch. It is an exciting thrilling ride. It has an AMAZING queue line as well. This coaster is AWESOME!!!

Theming Nice surprise! Launch
This ride is pretty important to me in that it was the first coaster I ever remember riding. I remember riding it right after it opened and being excited to experience The Mummy movies in real life. However, I was a bit too young (like 6) for it at the time, and ended up getting a little traumatized on it; my fear of coasters would haunt me for about a decade until I started riding again. Now grown, I can now appreciate just how awesome this ride really is. By far the best indoor coaster around; Premier's expertise combined with Universal's effects and theming quality deliver an incredible experience. I can guarantee that you'll never forget the oppressive heat on your face as the room you're in suddenly erupts in flames. I sure haven't.

Theming Nice surprise! Launch Too short
7.0 out of 10. surprising speed and you have no idea when it will come. I love riding this one, every time I got this park a must fun ride.

Capacity Launch Duration Discomfort
Best ride at the Universal Resort in the fact that you can typically walk right on it. My only complaint is the stapling of the legs with the lapbar and the rough reverse section.

Theming Nice surprise! Ejectors
The Mummy remains one of my favourites at Universal Orlando. Rapid and uses physical effects to great effect; as opposed to the disaster that is Gringotts just round the corner... The mummy is also unique in that it's possibly the only coaster that our Mother-in-law has been on! (What is it? It's a dark ride!... Well, it's sort of true!) The staff have operations down to an absolute tee, managing to cleverly disguise operational signals in character. I recall one ride where the restraint was locked but perhaps not quite so much as it should have been, resulting in absolutely enormous ejector airtime. Much fun!
-
Theming Rattle Too short Disappointing!
I was told the Mummy was a great coaster, with a thrilling experience and spectacular theming merged into one. The latter was absolutely true, but the former... not so much. The darkride segment in the beginning of the Mummy is a great introduction to what I expected to be an even greater ride. Unfortunately, after the turntable segment and uphill launch, I felt a noticeable rattle on Revenge of the Mummy’s circuit — right up until the actual ending brakes. The abrupt coaster sections made the ride feel incomplete, and when we hit the brake run I couldn’t believe that the Mummy had ended its terror on me — and I’m not talking about the fake ending either, as creative as it was. Revenge of the Mummy may have amazing theming, but at the end of the day it is merely a family coaster in the dark.

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Headbanging Discomfort
The mummy can be a bit rough.. sometimes a bit of a headbasher .. but that aside, its a super fun ride, with lots of different elements, backwards, launch, fire! a great complete experience with fantastic theming ! :) Single rider line is handy on this ride and helps get those rides in! Love the updated entrance too, nicer to have the lockers inside instead of cramped outside.
-
Theming Launch Pace
This coaster perfectly blends dark ride with coaster. Awesome animatronics, pyrotechnics, mist, audio, and projections make for a thrilling and kickass dark ride experience. While the launched, twisty, fast paced coaster section is unpredictable, even with a couple airtime hills! Extremely impressive coaster.
