Theming Nice surprise! Fun Discomfort Intensity

I rode the Kings Dominion version first and was disappointed, however this one runs better and I enjoy it much more. The effects also work on this one as well which is nice. I still find the intensity on these a bit overrated, but the launches are fun and their is some fun and surprising moments of airtime and laterals. It has a few awkward transitions that hurt a bit but it isn’t too painful. Overall it’s a family coaster so it doesn’t pull crazy forces but for a family coaster it’s above average.

Nice surprise! Fun Capacity Discomfort Reliability

Very unique coaster that I have had the fortune to ride, although it still went down a few times while I was there and I had to wait a long time to ride it, but it was definitely worth it. It’s very painful when you awkwardly bank into those brake runs, but the ride is pure fun and has this weird surprising feeling on the drops that I really enjoy to make up for the pain. Overall although the ride does hurt, it’s a weird ride that gives weird sensations I’ve never felt on any other coaster. At the end of the day it isn’t too crazy and it’s just a family coaster but I like the ride for what it has to offer.

    Fun Dead spots

Same as the other side, fun but it feels slow and pulls almost no force

    Fun Dead spots

Lots of fun moments but it feels pretty slow and forceless.

Nice surprise! Fun Smoothness Too short Capacity

Another great family coaster at Dollywood. Although it is a short ride, it’s butter smooth and just pure fun. That first turn also caught me off guard with how intense it was. Overall it’s just a family coaster and nothing too special but it’s good for what it is.

    Theming Launch Dead spots Layout

The ride doesn’t do too much but the launches are fun and the theming is excellent.

    Theming Fun Layout Intensity

As far as family coasters go this is one of my favorite. It’s a family coaster so the forces it has aren’t too strong, but it has 2 fun launches including a backwards launch, some enjoyable floater moments and some nice turns and s bends. It’s also a long ride with a nice location and great theming plus on ride effects. Definitely just a plain fun ride.

Airtimes Nice surprise! Smoothness Dead spots

A pretty smooth ride with some great floater at the begging, nothing special but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

    Airtimes Lap Bar Dead spots

Pretty good classic woodie. The ride is a tad rough but definitely bearable. The first 2 hills have some really strong floater and the rest of the hills give solid air. The restraints also allow you to come out of your seat more. Overall this ride just has a bunch of solid airtime hills so it’s a nice ride but nothing crazy or anything.

Airtimes Lap Bar Smoothness Capacity Dead spots

A nice classic woodie with a bunch of solid airtime moments thanks to the buzz bar.

Nice surprise! Location Rattle Dead spots

Not really sure to put for pros because it isn’t exactly good at one thing, it has pretty decent airtime, 2 great moments of laterals and after the first turn which is the most tedious and boring part of any coaster the pacing is good. The ride is a little rough but not rough enough to bother me. Overall it’s a solid wood coaster and finds a spot in the middle of my rankings.

Theming Inversions Launch Dead spots Layout

A good launch to start the ride and the sea serpent inversion is very intense, however the rest of the ride doesn’t really pull any forces but it’s still fun.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Intensity Too short Layout

Wow this thing is intense. Invertigo has some of the strongest positives I’ve ever felt, it makes normal boomerangs feel like kiddie coasters. It’s also relatively smooth and comfortable as well which surprised me. However I can’t rank this ride any higher because it is very short and has a bland layout but what it does is insane.

  • Carter Eckhart

First Drop Comfort Smoothness Too short Dead spots Intensity

Middle of the pack hyper, which isn’t saying much because I’m not a big fan of B&M hypers. The first drop and following hill are great moments of sustained floater but then the rest of the ride does nothing. At least it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna valley like some of the other hypers. It’s also a pretty short ride too so that’s a con. Overall it has a few nice moments but the ride itself is nothing special.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Launch Fun Capacity

A very underrated coaster for sure, the launch is actually very intense and the rest of the ride has some fun turns and curves. The motorbike seating adds to the fun factor to me and the restraints don’t bother me. Overall it’s one of my favorite family coasters mainly because that launch packs a surprising punch.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Airtimes Fun Hangtime

The vests on this aren’t that bad and I got 3 solid floater moments combined with some decent hangtime. It’s not the greatest coaster out there and Griffon is definitely better, but it’s good fun and overhated by some.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Inversions Intensity Capacity Airtimes

I used to hate this ride but now it’s solid. The drop and final airtime hill are overrated but the rest of the ride is full of fun and unique elements that give great positives, whip and even surprising airtime at spots. It also has a rattle but this time around it didn’t bother me at all. I’ll never understand the full hype for this ride but at least I wasn’t disappointed by it anymore.

  • Carter Eckhart

First Drop Lap Bar Smoothness Too short

Great first drop. The rest of the layout has some fun elements but is nothing special. Overall solid ride but nothing special, the layout is pretty slow and boring but I do like the ride mainly for the awesome first drop.

    Capacity Inversions Intensity Rattle

This is definitely one of the best floorless coasters. The inversions and turns are very forceful, and those corkscrews are some of the most whippy I've experienced. I do wish it had a zero g roll but it makes up for it with the very forceful low to the ground turns that other floorless coasters lack. The drop off the MCBR also gives surprising sustained airtime and the transition between the 2 corkscrews gives a nice airtime pop too. Plus the pacing feels way better on this than most of the other floorless coasters. There is a very noticeable rattle but it doesn't really bother me to much. Overall its very weird for a floorless coaster, it has lots of surprises and its just fun and intense.

    Fun Intensity Dead spots Layout

I got a lot of flips on this one which is why it’s my favorite free spin, it’s a fun and kinda intense ride but still really just an ok ride overall.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Location Intensity Airtimes Dead spots

I put intensity as a pro because of the laterals, there is 2 moments of really great laterals, however the rest of the ride doesn’t offer much force but at least it’s comfortable and the setting is good.

  • Carter Eckhart

Location Comfort Fun Dead spots Intensity

Some solid floater airtime but the airtime strength is very overrated, there is also a lot of dead spots. Still it is a pretty fun ride with a bunch of good moments.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Location Pace Ejectors Reliability

This is an amazing coaster, the pacing and the airtime is some of the best on the planet, it doesn't even feel short, unfortunately i wish this ride had positives, this ride easily gets 5 stars for me

    Inversions Pace Ejectors Capacity Reliability

This is probably the single most underrated coaster I have ridden, it is just such a well rounded ride. It’s a long and complete ride with perfect pacing the whole time. All of the inversions are fun. Some give strange forces and hangtime while others give aggressive whip, like the stall which is my favorite inversion I’ve experienced. There is even several moments of crazy ejector too. Also I just love the layout and the uniqueness of the ride. However it’s very hard to ride this coaster with the terrible uptime and capacity. Overall, Steel curtain just hauls and pulls some of the craziest forces I’ve experienced. Combine that with great variety and a unique layout and you have exactly what I look for in a coaster.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Launch Pace Intensity

Best B&M Wing by far. The launch surprisingly has a great punch to it and the ride absolutely hauls for a B&M wing. The inversions and banked turns at the beginning deliver sustained crushing positives that had me grey out once and the final 2 inversions give great float and hang time. This ride is also just plain fun too and has an amazing setting that makes night rides great.

  • Carter Eckhart

Inversions Nice surprise! Intensity Dead spots

My favorite B&M invert as of now. Definitely was not expecting this ride to be as good as it was. The cobra roll is one of the greatest inversions I’ve experienced and carries this ride, I was bracing for a rattly transition and was absolutely shocked when I got crushing positives followed by ejector airtime while inverted and violent whip, followed by even more mental positives and another moment of insane whip, ur feet feel like they are literally gonna fall off after this element. I just wanted to keep riding and I was waiting just for this element to hit. It’s hard to put this cobra roll into words you just have to hop in that back right seat and let the ride work it’s magic on you. As for the rest of the ride the first half is full on great positives and impeccable pacing, there is also a very whippy transition into the MCBR. Sadly the mid course does kill the rides pacing, the zero g roll, corkscrew and helix do have some nice forces and whip but the ride just doesn’t carry the same speed and intensity. This ride does have a little rattle but it’s nothing much especially if you are in the back row right seat which is the best seat, and there is no head banging at all. Overall it’s a solid B&M invert and would rank pretty good but the cobra roll propels it over the top for me.

    Pace Fun Intensity Too short

Very short ride but what it has with the amazing pacing and swinging is enough for me to really enjoy the ride. Quite intense too surprisingly.

First Drop Theming Hangtime Headbanging Harness Discomfort

Solid ride but definitely my least favorite euro fighter. It has 2 good drops and the last inversion gives good hangtime, but a lot of the ride is pointless and just hurts so to the head banging and bad track profiling. However the theming is cool but I can’t really save the ride. I still like the ride but it’s nothing special and the pain makes me move it down a few spots.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Inversions Location Fun Dead spots

Solid arrow looper overall. The straight first drop was pretty good and the inversions were fun however ride really didn’t give that many forces and it had a lot of dead spots. The ride also had some bad transitions and the seat mold is terrible which is a weird complaint I have but the pain was manageable. Overall it’s just a solid mid tier arrow looper for me and I’m just glad I got to ride it before it went defunct.

  • Carter Eckhart

    Airtimes Nice surprise! Too short

Very underrated ride, has a few bad transitions but overall not enough to detract from the ride and that speed hill is amazing. It’s 5 seconds of sustained flojector and while the rest of the ride doesn’t do anything that one moment is good enough to make the ride
