Intensity Harness Discomfort
The harness did not feel good. (If you’re a guy you’ll understand) I was also pretty disoriented after. However I can appreciate the sheer intensity of that pretzel loop and every element hit hard.
-
Inversions Dead spots
Was a bit underwhelming but the loops were forceful and I like the green color scheme.
-
Inversions Intensity
Really intense ride. No noticeable rattle. Only one train ops the day I went.
-
First Drop Fun Rattle Capacity
Love the vertical lift hill and the first drop. Has a noticeable rattle. Wasn’t anything too special after the drop but wasn’t bad either.
-
Airtimes First Drop Intensity Rattle
This rattles in every row. Other than that it exceeded my expectations. I didn’t expect it to be so intense but I greyed out every time. Plenty of really nice airtime hills as well.
-
Airtimes Rattle
Not a bad ride at all. Wasn’t as rough as I was expecting and was pretty tolerable. Lots of airtime hills.
-
Fun Capacity
Fun little ride. Probably waited a bit too long for it but it wasn’t horrible.
-
Discomfort
This was surprisingly rough for a mine train. My back literally cracked towards the end because of a large bump.
-
Airtimes First Drop Too short
This was surprisingly good. Everything from the first drop onwards was amazing. Each element was executed very well. I only wish it were a longer experience.
-
Airtimes Pace Ejectors
It’s crazy that this ride never had a line every time I rode it. One of the best coasters out there. Hauls through the entire layout. Only con is that it’s a bit tough on the thighs after a few rides.
-
Discomfort
I’m surprised this didn’t fly off the track with how rough it was towards the end. Smashed my elbow on the side of the train.
-
Theming Fun Too short
I remember riding this a long time ago when I was very little. It was probably one of my first roller coasters I ever went on. I remember it being very short but fun nevertheless.
-
Airtimes First Drop Layout
This was my first ever hyper coaster and boy is it a great ride. Riding in the very back row was very intense going over the first hill into the drop. There are plenty of great moments of floater air time and the helixes over the water is a very nice feature. Undoubtedly the best coaster at Darien Lake.
-
First Drop Inversions
First drop is nuts and unexpected if it’s your first time. Great inversions, and airtimes throughout. Best ride in the park and may be a bit underrated.
-
Inversions Intensity
Super solid coaster. Great vertical loop, and many other inversions. Didn’t rattle too much. Has a nice long layout as well.
-
Launch Fun Hangtime Too short
Pretty great ride. Gives many weird sensations you don’t get on many coasters. Fun launches and hang times. The cars are premier so they can be a bit cramped. Ride is also over pretty quickly.
-
Nice surprise! Fun Hangtime Capacity Reliability
Slow moving line, even broke down right before I got on. Later in the night when I rode it, it was very fun and the hang time was awesome. I was surprised how much I liked this one.
-
Fun Capacity
I got quite a lot of spins on this and it has a decent layout for a wild mouse. Was pretty dizzy afterwards but it was fun for what it is. Slowest moving line in the park and took almost two hours to ride.
-
Fun Intensity Capacity
This gave many very intense flips and was pretty fun. The operations were horribly slow though so the line barely moved and took over an hour.
-
Too short Pointless
Didn’t really enjoy this at all. Unlike jaguar at Knotts, it doesn’t take you on a scenic trip around the park so it’s pretty pointless. It’s really short and does nothing the whole time.
-
Intensity Discomfort
Typical boomerang. Very disorienting but intense nevertheless. Didn’t get too much head banging either which was nice.
-
Intensity Discomfort
This one has a pretty bad shuffle to it and it not the most comfortable ride. Definitely not as bad as some say but still not good either.
-
Airtimes First Drop Intensity Too short
Great coaster from start to finish. I just wish it were longer because every moment on it is great. You get thrown all over the place and it’s great.
-
Airtimes Pace Intensity Rattle Discomfort
This one was a total surprise to me. Probably the most intense wooden coaster I have done so far. Great pacing, the first drop in the tunnel is fun, and you get absolutely launched out of your seat at times. Pretty rough in some spots though.
-
Intensity Too short
Has some very intense moments but it is over pretty quickly. Overall solid coaster.
-
Too short
Nothing much to say about this one. It was an ok ride that felt a bit short. Not too memorable either way.
-
Dead spots
The brakes hit a lot on this killing a lot of the fun turns and such. At least it was less painful than some wild mouse coasters.
-
Pointless Dead spots
Doesn’t pull any forces at all. Pretty much a leisurely ride out and back then done.
-
Theming Discomfort
Has some theming and cool tunnels but this ride was decently painful.
-
Theming Fun Discomfort
Pretty janky coaster with some great theming. Downright painful in some spots but still pretty fun.
