Grand National ça tabasse mais qu'est ce que c'est fun, le train tremble dans tout les sens et ça tape par endroit mais franchement je me suis éclaté à faire la course avec l'autre train sur ce parcours super long blindé d'airtime débile et chaque virage te promet du G lat tout aussi débile. J'ai été un peu gêné par la lap bar qui a tendance à se resserrer dans les creux mais sinon franchement je ne pensais pas autant apprécier ces wooden je dirais que ce sont mes plaisirs coupables à Blackpool. Légère préférence pour le côté gauche.

What an underrated ride! Grand national is one of my favourite rides at the park, I've ridden it multiple times and always had a great time. To start the rides capacity isn't amazing, especially when it only runs one train on each side. However it can have good operations with 2 trains on each side. In fact the ride has good dispatches because they don't always check your restraint. The ride begins with a turn and chain lift before a turn. That first drop is wild, you get ejector airtime during its double down. The rest of the ride is very fun with floater airtime on the hills over its long duration. It can be rough but on a non-wheel seat it is bearable, it is important to remember the rides age and location. So overall this ride is very fun and a must ride each time I go to the park.

In the past, this would have been one of the best wooden coasters in the country. Now, it sits firmly in the 'dear lord get me off my back hurts' category. Unbelievably rough, especially on the wheels but it is still unbearable in other seats. As a result, I could not enjoy the ride in the slightiest... Please dear lord re-track it, it deserves to be an amazing airtime monster again :(

When I first rode Grand National, I was scared that it was going to be rough (as most coaster enthusiasts say), but it's actually not that bad. Even on the back row, I don't find it painful. The ride itself has good pacing, and it gets more intense towards the end. However, the ride is looking tired and clearly needs a lick of paint, but it still rides fun, and I hope they refurbish it like they did with the Big Dipper. I also think both sides ride the same and don't make a difference, and sitting on a wheel seat doesn't make much difference either. Overall, this coaster is well worth a ride.

If it does, you'll enjoy it very much, as the airtime really is great, strong laterals on the turns as well. If it doesn't, then the constant bouncing, the slamming down in the valleys, the very tight trains and the general pain you experience really is not good. For me it's very much teetering on the edge, it's definitely far too rough and would massively benefit from a full rework, this layout with a sensitive GCI rework and new trains would be fantastic. But the redeeming ejectors do at least mean there is some level of fun to be had.

Other than the racing feature, this coaster was a complete & utter nightmare. This is by far the worst roller coaster I have EVER ridden. It was so rough & shaky, & I was convinced I had bruised my butt at the end. & the worst part is, we didn't even win, so therefore the ride was a complete disaster.

The rides I had on a middle seat were totally fine - fairly rough, but bearable. Over the axis, it was quite painful, so I recommend staying away from these seats if you don't want it too bumpy. Asi...

Aside from that, this rather innocent looking coaster has quite some serious airtime moments, especially the small bunny hops taken with high speed fling you out of your seat. This is definetely the most intense woody at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, maybe even the most intense ride of the entire park - a ride with wet rails after light rain was absolutely insane. The duelling and Moebius aspect add to the unique ride experience.

I was on the front row so I didn't get the worst of the roughness, I found the main issue was the trains. Restraints were very uncomfortable and the metal bars next to my legs led to some painful moments. Restraints that give the legs more freedom would massively improve things.

Was actually proper nervous for this one cause I was aware before going in like most people are that this has a reputation for being very rough. Did it anyway and it was nowhere even close to as bad as I thought it would be. According to my mate who had been on before several times we had an exceptionally smooth ride on it though as when he went with his mate a year ago his mate thought he broke his arm after. Nevertheless, has good airtime, amazing feeling of losing control and a surprising few moments of real good jolt. I must confess to having a rusty memory of this one cause I kinda got scared my heart stopped working at the end cause I couldn`t feel it beating and that wiped most memory I have of this right down the drain. Stupid I know but had me worried for a second. As you can probably tell I emerged from nash with my body still in functioning order and it`s going up there as my no2 woodie.
