This thing was such a sleeper hit at this park! Schwarzkopf loopers have a simple formula, but one that most definitely works! The lone vertical loop is of course the highlight, and it's great, the rest of the layout rounds out the experience. Great ride! and RIP :(

I like compact coasters but when it comes to Scorpion this type of compact is not good. it is a great first inversion coaster and it was mine, however, it has definitely aged in the last 44 years. the helix is one of the most intense elements on any family coaster out there, and while it is not necessarily meant for families, it's a great first looper and it is actually surprisingly comfortable, the lap bar helps.

Two experiences = the first row was horrible - after the loop, feeling of " being compressed " with a chock in the neck and bearing the fast curves and the ride was like " never-ending " - but the second time, middle row, the layout was pleasant, the loop without any problem and the very fast curves so funny to ride and maybe cause my neighbor was afraid of the speed and not used to ride coasters but she could survive of it

This was my first roller coaster, and it is still fun. It's certainly a bit janky because it's quite old, but the first drop, loop, and final helix are fun and intense. There isn't any spectacular here, but nothing besides the final harsh stop in the station is really an issue. It's just a fun, simple ride you probably won't be inclined to marathon but will have fun on once or twice.

Vieille relique de chez Schwarzkopf, le looping (élément signature) est toujours d'aussi bonne facture. Par contre le reste du layout est vibrant et n'a que très peu d'intérêt. Il est court mais on ne s'en plaindra pas. Visuellement il fait vraiment daté même s'il est tout même bien intégré dans sa zone. Il a le mérite d'exister mais vu les autres options du parc on pourra s'en passer s'il affiche plus de 5-10' d'attente.

For an oldie, Scorpion was fine if not pretty good. It can't hold up to other coasters at BGT, but I enjoyed the drop, inversion and sustained helix elements. I can imagine its capacity is a real challenge on busy days as it was pretty brutal during an off-season visit. It's a bit of an eye-sore too. I wonder about its purpose in the park looking ahead. It doesn't seem to the same level of nostalgia behind it like a Loch Ness Monster at BGW. I'd say it's worth a ride if lines are short and you're swinging by, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it as there are so many other options at the park.

This one surprised me the most on my trip to BGT. I thought this layout looked like a pretty normal mid-tier coaster but I was very surprised at how intense it got. The drop into the loop was pretty solid. What really caught me off guard were the helixes but especially the long sustained one at the end that basically did two or three laps around. I normally don't gray out on a coaster but this one got me close and I was quite surprised given how short this coaster actually is. It's very fun and I highly recommend a ride! 3.5/5 stars

I wasn’t expecting much from this ride but I was pleasantly surprised. The loop is solid as on all Schwarzkopf looping coasters but there was these 2 unexpected but awesome lateral jolts on the helixes that pinned and kept u on the side of the train. The ride also has a better sense of speed than I thought and has very open, simple and comfortable trains and restraints. The downside with this ride is that it does feel a bit short and really doesn’t have much to offer but it was better than I was expecting which is all I can ask for.

This is a fun little ride for introducing people to inversions on roller coasters. The final helix this ride has is surprisingly intense. Although the ride is old and sounds super janky it's actually quite smooth. I rode this twice and neither time did I feel that the ride was rough.

I love Scorpion. This is an awesome Schwarzkopf looping coaster for the whole family. It's a great intro coaster to inversions for the young ones while being extremely intense in such a compact layout...

I love Scorpion. This is an awesome Schwarzkopf looping coaster for the whole family. It's a great intro coaster to inversions for the young ones while being extremely intense in such a compact layout for the older riders. The first drop has some classic jank and the loop is extremely forceful. You go through a helix that loses some speed as you raise up but gains it all back as you dive towards the ground which is an awesome interaction as you are just feet from the floor beneath you. You hop through the loop, giving the ride a very picturesque moment, and dive into a long helix that once again provides plenty of force and gets you closer and closer to the ground. Scorpion is a great classic. I love the recent repaint and the fact that Busch Gardens gave it some love. Hopefully one day they can get a second train so the line won't get so backed up and I'd ride it every visit.

Scorpion was my 150th coaster credit, chosen by me for my love of Schwarzkopf’s classic coasters and this model’s rareness. It did somewhat deliver that hallmark Schwarzkopf intensity in the vertical loop and bizarre but awesome 900° helix, however, there was a very prevalent rattle throughout the entire ride. The train seemed to be frantically shuffling about as soon as it hit that loop, resulting in some awkward jolts and bounces from side to side. Putting this con aside, Scorpion is a solid family looping coaster that delivers a reasonably fun introduction to going upside down for coasterfans in training.
