Spaß Unangenehm

For being 101 years old it is very smooth. Don’t get confused still prob one of the most painful rides ever. Don’t ride on the back. Fun for historic and credits.

I'm glad a coaster with this much history is still up and running. And I think the refurb they gave it for its 100th last year is beautiful! But it's just a little too rough. I rode it in the front row, and I had to ride it pretty defensively. There's one bad pothole in particular. And (probably to compensate for the roughness) it's trimmed to death.

I think it's just OK. The drop is pretty decent, and you head into a long bit of track before coming up again. Then you do a weird turn, which is pretty shaky, into a sharp hill that might give you some airtime in the front. You go down again and go back up, turning. After you drop, there are a couple airtime hills. They are pretty forceless. Phoenix and Comet are better.

There isn't a whole lot to this layout; if there was airtime anywhere other than the first drop I couldn't tell due to how hard the lap bar came down during the ride. It's pretty rough in the very back, but that's to be expected. 6/10 - I love meeting other enthusiasts once you're already on the ride; I ended up yapping with the guy sitting in front of me up the entire lift hill while his friend sitting beside me laughed at us

Y’all need to stop bitching. It is not rough even in the very back, but I wouldn’t advise riding there. It’s boring back here, but up front you get 3 of the funniest ejector pops out there. In no way is it my favorite woodie and it’s not even close, but up front it’s solid. The trims suck and yadda yadda yeah yeah but seriously underrated. Sit up front for the best experience.

So this is a bit rough, and I got a headache after riding this 3 times because my little brother loves this coaster, and I like the first drop. But there's not a lot of airtime until the end, where you have three speed hills back-to-back. The first hill gives some floater airtime, but the second hill is trimmed hard, preventing almost all airtime you'll get on this ride. It's not s*** but it's not my favorite PTC whatsoever. Not even close to Top 5 favorite woodies.

But the worst part has to be the duration. Its such a short ride. I wouldn't say its a must do because Steel Force is next door but if you have the time I would say "Do it for the experience".

Ridé en 2012 avec les anciens trains PTC dont les barres laissent énormément de liberté, je ne touchais quasiment jamais le siège, un enchainement de petits airtimes sans temps mort. Un souvenir mémorable. Malheureusement, si j'en crois les derniers retours, le nouveaux trains à lap bars classiques ont dû bien altérer le fun de ce wooden.
