The best Roller Coaster I have ever been on so far. The first hill is the most spectacular, offering amazing view and realization of how high up you are, before giving you amazing drop and start of the wild ride. Lil rough but 100% worth it!

This ride was my first ever "super" coaster. It almost cured me of coasters. The ride up has sensational views of mount fuji, but it also scared the ever living daylights out of me. The first and second drops had such good airtime I didn't know the human body could feel that way. AWESOME!! The ride rattles and is so janky it actually makes it uncomfortable and takes away from the experience a bit. After we rolled out of the sideways turn it jostles you around a bunch and I thought I might puke. I very much enjoyed this experience and I will never ride this coaster again. Thrilling.

A super special ride, extremely long, great airtime on the big hills, amazing sense of speed, and truly insane laterals. I didn't find the jank painful as a lot seem to, it just added to the fun and charm. Capacity is awful (as is normal in Japan), but otherwise this is a near perfect ride.

This ride was way more intense than I expected. It was closed when I came last year, but I was able to get FROTD this time, and it was incredible. There’s so many great airtime moments, and the ride lasts longer than I expected. There is a bit too much rattle, but the layout more than makes up for it. The ejector moment right before the break run is one of my favorite moments in any coaster. There’s also a “dead spot” during the turnaround right after the first drop, however the entire time you get an incredible view of Fujisan, so I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all.

What an amazing surprise of a coaster. The visuals, speak for themselves, facing Mount Fuji up that slow lift hill. Janky, and makes some noises that rides shouldn't make... Also, a total powerhouse of a ride. Long and powerful airtime hills that give B&M hypers (and even gigas) competition. Drops to ground level into forceful, highly banked turns. Layout is a real mix of features long, and never repetitive. And a brutal serving of laterals for the ending. NO trims! Very deserving of high ratings and well worth the trip to ride something very different.

This was the biggest surprise of the trip. I was expecting it to be painful and boring but it turned out to be very smooth(not painful) and incredibly intense. The second half is full of janky airtime...

Why, oh why?! You had this Fujiyama! I was ready to swear by your name as The King of Rollercoasters. The lifthill is truly amazing with the majestic view leading up towards Mt. Fuji. That moment will live on forever in my heart. So will the first drop and that nice and equally scenic turnaround. But that last section was really rough, man. It was still a lot of fun but it was uncomfortable. But this really is an iconic coaster!

This is yet another great coaster at Fuji-Q Highland and my #3 overall coaster. Better than OzIris. Fight me. It is a behemoth and an airtime machine. My first ride in row 8 was good but only worth 4....

This is yet another great coaster at Fuji-Q Highland and my #3 overall coaster. Better than OzIris. Fight me. It is a behemoth and an airtime machine. My first ride in row 8 was good but only worth 4.5 stars at best. The airtime was there but my seatbelt was way too tight to really lift our of my seat. My second ride in row 10 was a different story. The airtime was fantastic. Even in the infamous janky ending, including the brake run. That first drop was incredible too. A masterpiece from none other than Togo. A manufacturer known for delivering lackluster rides in the US. Update August 2023: I can't leave this at 5 stars. I got some rides on OzIris that were better than those that I got on Fujiyama and I left OzIris at 4.5 stars . I'm lowering this to 4.5 stars.

全体的な荒々しい乗り心地、最近のコースターではほとんど見られないようなコースレイアウト、何かが特筆してすごい要素はあまりないが何故か「楽しい」と思わせてくれるコースターです。ただ個人的にはファーストドロップやコース中盤のダブルアップのような区間は少し物足りなさを感じますし、スペックも2023年の今では色褪せてしまったと言わざるを得ないかと思います。もしいつかFUJIYAMAが営業終了し、取り壊されたときには(FUJIYAMAタワーのこともあるのでそれはずっと未来のことだとは思いますが)跡地にはぜひFUJIYAMAを受け継ぐ王道の超大型コースターを設置してくれることをマニアとしては期待したいですね。

My first attempt to go to Fuji-Q Highland was cut short before we even got into the park. The following morning, on the day we were leaving, we woke up to a crystal clear sky and an immaculate view of Fuji-san. With only enough time to ride one ride at the park before catching our bus, I chose Fujiyama... and I have zero regrets. The panoramic turn after the first drop provided a once-in-a-lifetime view of Mt. Fuji was already enough to make this a 5 Star ride for me. Additionally I thought the ride was soo enjoyable and fun. It was a great ride to ride with my travel partner who is not used to riding rollercoasters. Each drop was smooth. I loved the pacing- the ride felt like it was never-ending but in the best way possible.
