Jack Rabbit at Kennywood is a classic wooden coaster that has been thrilling riders since 1920. Despite its age, this coaster still delivers a surprisingly exciting ride, thanks to its legendary airtime and classic charm. The biggest highlight of Jack Rabbit is its ejector airtime. The double down, in particular, provides an intense moment of airtime that catches riders off guard. It’s one of the best airtime moments on any classic wooden coaster, making Jack Rabbit stand out despite its smaller size. That said, the ride does have some dead spots. Some slower sections, particularly before and after the big drops, don’t add excitement. These moments don’t ruin the ride. However, they somewhat break up the pacing. Overall, Jack Rabbit is a fantastic classic coaster with unforgettable ejector airtime. While it has a few slower moments, its iconic airtime moments make it a must-ride at Kennywood.

Over 100 years of this ride has not brought it down. The classic wooden layout is fun without being overly intense. If you prefer a more intense ride with bigger ejections the back is a must. The front is perfect for smaller or first time riders. This was my first roller coaster, so my nostalgia gives me bias, but I believe this ride is something I have not experienced a better replication of.

You know, this is a great ride. I just don't get how this is over 100 years old and is still quite smooth while Blue Streak is only 60 and feels like it was built in the stone age! Oh! I know! Kennywood actually takes care of their old rides! Unlike Cedar Point! But in all seriousness, Jack Rabbit is a very smooth, airtime filled coaster that is a LOT of fun. Not to mention, it's restraints are very minimal. All you have is a seat belt and a bar on the seats to hold on to, so on that double down, you're EJECTED out of your seat. This is one of the better rides at Kennywood, and it should NOT be missed.

The double down is pretty much the only part of this coaster that has any sort of force but it’s so good to where this is still in my top 50% of credits out of almost 190. That strong ejector with only a seatbelt is legit terrifying and those few seconds being completely off the seat feel like an eternity. A classic terrain woodie with an insane airtime moment.

Probably my favorite woodie at Kennywood. The ride starts out with a drop into a tunnel... decent laterals in there. The highlight of the ride is that double-down. You get powerful ejector airtime with only a railing-like restraint and a seatbelt, you just go flying out of your seat... you can even hear the train go off the tracks for a bit, it is insane! This is one of my favorite coaster moments. It is best experienced in the back row. Then it's literally the same as the first half but the final drop is bigger. The way up has that little jank that looking at the POVs made me a little nervous because it looks like there was a lot of G-Forces, it did feel like a bump. The ride is good because of this double-down, if it weren't for that... then I would've gave it a much lower score.
