Meisterwerk
Anaconda is a product of its time. The front row gave me a weird sideways rattle coming off the first drop into the loop. The back row was night and day with much more smooth ride and more natural movement through even the second half that seems a bit unevenly paced. My guess is that the brake run midway is nearly stopping the train much more than originally intended to minimize complaints about roughness. I really hope they don’t get rid of this ride just because it’s a link to a specific time that is gone. It oozes 80s/90s charm in its station and overall design with the loud clanking of the lift chain and the scaffolding support structure and the unpolished hand-designed track sections that don’t smoothly mesh. Am I nostalgic, yes, but you’ll regret it when these Arrows are gone.

It’s probably the best wild mouse I’ve ridden but it’s not amazing.

Rütteln
Initially I was glad the park took a chance on this rare type of coaster but after finishing the ride I thought it was mostly a wasted opportunity. I’m almost certain they could do something more interesting than this. There’s just not much to it so it ends up being a kiddy/family coaster.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors

Komfort
It’s a good smooth B&M floorless looper. The first drop and vertical loop are the best. It’s fun to compare this to Anaconda at the same park because they both try to do something similar. This even has corkscrews at the end. I rarely love a B&M but at least this one was good.

Un super machine à faire à tout prix

First Drop Meisterwerk Layout Unangenehm Schoßbügel
This ride changes so much for me depending on the day. Sometimes it’s the top in the park and sometimes I can barely walk after it because of those awful lap bars. Still so a great and revolutionary coaster.

Intensität Dauer Enttäuschend! Unangenehm
Smiler’s overrated and for me, the third best ride at Alton Towers. It’s pretty intense, and the inversions are good, but it didn’t do all that much for me. There’s a few noticeable jolts that hurt the experience, but overall, it’s definitely not bad.

Inversionen Standort Spaß Rückhaltebügel Unangenehm
My biggest problem with this ride was definitely the restraints. The vest portion was kind of tight, but that wasn't the main problem. The lap bar portion comes down super tight throughout the ride, and as a dude it got extremely uncomfortable. Thankfully the ride itself is pretty good. The first drop has some solid airtime in the back, and there were some pretty intense moments particularly the first loop. The zero-g roll and corkscrew were really fun. The ride also had pretty decent pacing. Wild Eagle, like most coasters at Dollywood, uses it's terrain amazingly, and it might be the most photogenic coaster I've personally ridden.

Thematisierung Standort Dauer Dead spots
This was my first alpine coaster, and it was really fun. They were doing karaoke in the queue line which made the hour long wait much more bearable. It was also a night ride, which made the coaster much more fun. As far as the ride it's self it was fine. There were some pretty fast sections, but it could have been more intense. The theming throughout the ride also added to the whole experience. Overall it was a pretty fun ride.
