What an amazing surprise. When I saw they built this, I was highly confused. What is the point of a relatively, by today's standards, small coaster without inversions? It is not even close to hyper, so no huge height or speed and it doesn't go upside down--so what gives? What this coaster delivers is a ride experience unlike any other coaster I have ridden. Again it doesn't really fit any of today's popular categories. I would call it a steel twister. My expectations weren't very high, but after riding it, I can tell you they were shattered. This thing is amazing. Air on top of air on top of air and then they threw some air in for good measure. Think of a wooden airtime machine that is silky-steel smooth and that's it. Simple formula that we don't see, but man oh man does it work. We rode this I think 10 times in one day. Where you sat didn't matter much--they are all excellent. Of course there are differences and I had my favorite, but dead center of the train was still a great, great ride. By far the biggest surprise of the trip. Truly a one of a kind gem for Chance and KK. Hopefully Chance will get to build more of these.

    Tempo Meisterwerk Intensität

Iron Gwazi is a contender for the best roller coaster in the United States, and maybe even the world. It really is American Zadra- incredibly intense, relentless pacing, smooth, and full of sustained ejector airtime moments. This ride does not feel like an RMC. It's a completely different beast and offers a much more intense, breathtaking ride than any of their other coasters. It has the perfect mix of powerful, sustained moments of airtime and quicker moments of violent ejector that all complement each other nicely. Ride ops will always allow riders to ride in minimal verification, which leads to crazy airtime and bruised thighs. This ride leaves you in the dust. By the time you're processing what just happened on the death roll, you're already through the cutback and heading into the wave turn- an incredibly sustained moment of sideways ejector airtime. The finale of bunny hills/trick track portions all deliver. I dont think this ride will ever leave my top 3. Iron Gwazi is a true masterpiece. Don't just visit florida to experience this ride, pack your bags and move to Tampa so this beast is in your backyard.

    Komfort Spaß

It's aight. Nice and smooth, and a pretty good people-eater for a park that mostly has low-capacity stuff. It's cute and fun, but also pretty short and middling as far as B&Ms go. I'm just happy it's finally open after like 3 years of waiting.

    Thematisierung Meisterwerk Dauer

I think it truly deserves to be top five in the world. Constructive criticism- the airtime needs a little more punch and the train need to slow down just a little more before the 2nd launch.

First Drop Thematisierung Sanftheit Zu kurz

At Baron 1898, the theming really makes the rollercoaster. It's an incredibly short course. Still, there are very good elements incorporated into this roller coaster. The first drop is phenomenal, and at the bottom of the tunnel the roller coaster is very intense. The rest of the track is nothing special.

    Thematisierung Layout Headbanging Unangenehm

6th row: Even with my head back, it still got rattled. 2nd row: I enjoyed the theme and the tunnels, and that second loop is seriously one of the most intense I’ve ever experienced. It probably would have been a headbanger, but I kept my head back and upright, and it really was pretty good. Takeaway: 2nd row pretty good. 6th row real bad.
