Restraints didn't bother me on my 5 rides. Body types may differ but I found very little discomfort among my rides. Sit in the back left wing seat and go arms up for the ultimate experience. That first drop is bonkers. POVs do not do this ride any justice. Looking at it off ride doesn't either. Easily the best coaster at a strong coaster park. Currently sitting as my number 3 overall coaster and far and away the most intense coaster (beats I-305 for me). Ejector air everywhere on this thing. Update 3 years and another 100 coaster creds on the books: it still rules. Rode some Dark Nights rides on Wildcats Revenge and while it's obviously a great ride, Skyrush is still king of the park and still sits as my #3 overall only behind Fury and SteVe. Still, Skyrush has the best drop in the biz by a landslide, is the most aggressive ride, the best ejector ride, best lift hill, is actually quite scenic, and the most "free" restraints in the biz including the clamshell b&m (my personal favorites). This thing is the ride other rides sit around and talk about. A real rides ride. A pros pro. What a coaster.

There are no bad RMC's, but I also think once you've ridden one, you've basically ridden them all at this point with the exception of a few unique ones (Lightning Rod, Outlaw Run, SteVe) or ones with more unique layouts or focus. For me, this is a classic above average RMC done very well. Fantastic drop, great pacing, solid stalls, and some cool double up and wave turns. My biggest complaint with RMC will always be the lap restraint...im 6ft, 200lbs and these things just hit my legs wrong and can make rides a little uncomfortable and occasionally painful. Not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning. I got a few night rides during Dark Nights at Hershey and loved it...but it still doesn't hold a candle to the parks #1, Skyrush. As far as RMC's go, this one is ranks as my 6th favorite out of the 9 I've done so far...but still a great ride in a park full of great rides.

Front row for me on this one blows away the back. It doesn't have Twisted Timbers airtime, Lightning rods originality, or Steve's insanity, a great ride for sure, but it definitely is not a top 10 in the world. Rmc has some of the worst restraints in the game.

I'm finding myself always in awe that it exists and runs as well as it does at this age, but im finding myself not enjoying i305 as much as I once did. It sits as my 3rd in the park, recently being overtaken by the phenomenal Grizzly. It's still a 5 star marvel and a top 50 in the world, but mostly due to appreciation and not enjoyment.

A two-faced ride. Ride it for the first time, ride it in the back, dont brace yourself and it will be the worst ride of your life. It feels broken, it feels sloppy, it has a wicked jackhammer moment prior to the tunnel, and it's just scary. Now...go back and ride it in the front, at night, and know what you're in for and you will be treated to a "fun rough" ride. The intensity and location at night is an amazingly sketchy but fun ride. I dont know what happens, but it becomes such a different ride. Still intense and rough but much more enjoyable. I love this thing at night in the front row. The first drop, the tunnel, and the views are amazing. Brace yourself and give it a shot. ****Updated after re-track/profile: Perfect. The first drop has airtime, the ride is still intense but not painful at all, still has great pops of air and perfect laterals including one extended turn into the end run of hills. It no longer beats you up and the jackhammer is gone. Rode it roughly ten times the other day/night and it just hauls...are there any trims on this thing? I prefer the front row at night but back row during the day. I prefer it to I-305 now. Could use new trains...give this bastard buzz bars and it could be the best woodie around.

Thought this was another Woodstock type clone but was a nice surprise as it wasn't and even had a few nice pops of air. I'm 6ft, 200lbs and sat in such a way I got some nice little air pops throughout the layout on this fun little family woodie.

On my first visit, I was a little bit underwhelmed by Phoenix but a year later we went back and got some wet night rides and this ride went from a great ride to a full experience. I've only had a handful of rides that get to the level of being a real experience. Multiple rides had us laughing like mad at the air we were getting. This is absolutely a top tier coaster and a ride that becomes an event unto itself.

This thing was a workout. I know folks rave and have it in their top 5, but I don't know if I've ever been more let down by a coaster. My expectations were just way too high I think. I enjoyed it, I get why folks love it, and it's in my top 40 coasters for sure, but I couldn't help but feel it was a little underwhelming for me. I love that it's an unrelenting, insanely long ride, but for me, it was also sort of a negative. Maybe I'm getting old. Maybe I needed a night ride. Maybe getting The Beast at 1030pm the night before ruined it for me (what an experience!). We sat in the back row, then did row 4 on our 2 rides, so I felt like I gave it a fair shake. It's great, but didn't quite live up to the hype for me.

Great ride and typical b&m hyper/giga fun. Fantastic airtime throughout and as always, super comfortable and free feeling. Unfortunately for Orion, Fury exists and my brain couldn't stop comparing them...and Fury wins by a mile. Then we rode Diamondback and I found Dback to have even more airtime and a better layout. But Orion is still a fantastic ride on its own.

Pantheon delivers. The layout is big and open, the wave turns are just like an RMC, the stall is phenomenal, the launches are great, airtime is varied...

The ride's setting is awesome by the river. It is a lot like Velocicoaster minus the themeing and intensity. The Mercury launch section has amazing ejector air pops and the spike, tophat and wave provided nice floater. I don't see much to fault other than it being a bit lacking in theming. Definitely sits in my top 20. Also, the added lighting package makes it a great night ride.

It lived up to the hype...but after getting 3 rides on it and then taking a break to hit Hagrid's twice, Hagrid's is still the best coaster at Universal. It's so different from everything else. Back to Velocicoaster...for me, it's Maverick on steroids and that mosasaurus roll is one if the best coaster elements I've experienced. Obviously the theming, pacing and ejector moments are top notch and I love the speed on the top hat that gives you a chance to take in the views. Its a complete ride and it sits in my top 10 for sure, probably not top 5, but definitely a masterpiece coaster and a world class attraction.

I dunno, I'm glad Nighthawk and Batwing are still around and it looked like they plan on keeping it around for the long haul as the old Firehawk trains were sitting at Carowinds (maybe just for parts, but still a good sign). It's a beautiful ride, seems well-maintained and has great location and signage. I was actually impressed with the ops when I rode it as well, they were moving the trains out pretty fast. It's not great but its definitely one I hope stays around along with Batwing at SFA (which I prefer by just a hair).
