Cobra’s Curse is an excellent family coaster! Be sure to do it early or you’ll wait an hour only for it to brake down. The cobra at the top of the elevator lift is one of my favorite theming pieces. Be sure to tell your group to sit on one side so you get a crazy spin!

Tigris is a decent ride WITHOUT COMFORT COLLARS! I was lucky to be one of the first people to experience it without those awful restraints. The launches are good, but near the top, there are some jerky transitions for some reason. Overall, ok ride.

VelociCoaster is truly incredible. I don’t feel bad saying the first half is underwhelming and that is doesn’t do much. However, it has the best second half of any coaster I’ve ridden. The mesosaurus roll and the stall are some of my all time favorite inversions. The Intamin lap bars are also some of my favorite restraints.

Fury 325 is a masterpiece from start to finish. Both of my rides on this blew me away. It has the best first drop on any coaster out there. It takes its elements at insane speed. There is no debate that this was my #1 coaster for a year.

Steel Vengeance is amazing! My only complaints are the lap bar can come down too hard and that the layout is a bit repetitive. Other than that, the layout is loaded with insane airtime. My favorite part was the outer bank which provided great laterals. I can’t really say much else.

I was so disappointed when I saw Lightning Rod climb a lift hill instead of a launch. I never experienced the launch since it was my first visit. Launch aside, this ride is incredible! It features awesome ejector airtime, and I don’t mind that it has no inversions. It still runs pretty fast without the launch. However, on my visit, Dollywood ran the coaster with one train, not sure if that’s normal.

The Beast is truly amazing! Yes, it is a bit rough, but if you sit in the front at night, it is incredible! If you think it’s rough, you’re in luck because it is currently getting 200 feet of track replaced. I do think it is lacking airtime, and the mid-course can hit hard. Even still, I love the long layout and speed of the Beast.

Orion is an incredible ride and has one of the best night rides at Kings Island. However, the more I ride it, it seems to feel shorter and shorter. I also feel like it doesn’t showcase its speed as well as other gigas do. Nevertheless, the first drop never gets old and the floater and ejector airtime moments only add to an already great ride. So in conclusion, not a good layout for a giga, but great drops and speed!
