Taking off half a star because I found the rattle on the outer back seats to be surprisingly rough. However, the front or the middle seats on the back provide a smooth ride with stunning elements and an out of this world first drop and camel back hill.

Rough as f.... The launch is so much fun, and the sense of speed built on such a low to the ground layout is great, but my god is it rough. Admittedly I only experienced the outer seats, but I was literally bouncing along the layout. The insanity of the ride experience actually matches the theme quite well - it's bonkers.

I have been dreaming of riding Zadra, so when the moment came it had a lot to live upto. It matched all my hopes. It is utterly relentless.

It's sublime. From the moment you come out the station, the location makes for a gorgeous backdrop for the ascent up the lift-hill. To the left are mountains in the far distant and Salou harbour sitting on the Mediterranean sea. To the right are spectacular views across the park - its a really beautiful and fitting setting. What the ride then delivers is just an utter joy. Silky smooth, sensational first-drop and an absolute tour de force of floater airtime. It may not deliver the white knuckle intensity that some value above all else, but in terms of the ride experience and aesthetic look (outside of the cattle-pen que of doom) I think Shambala is a triumph in how beautiful rollarcoasters can be.
