This is a perfect family coaster. I actually prefer this to the intamin family launch coasters. It has some airtime including one actually decent moment in the second half. Really fun ride

I’m not a fan of Valravn so I thought this ride would just suck, and I was met with a very conflicting ride experience. I actually thought this ride was pretty fun in the front with the drop giving some good floater and the ride being pretty smooth, but in the back the drop is still good and it has some forces but idk why it’s so rough in the back. B&M has gone so backwards in terms of smoothness. No old B&M rattles bother me but this thing is just rough. It’s still a pretty fun ride tho and I prefer it to valravn but it’s not the best ride at this park even though on paper it should be

There’s not really much to say about this ride, it’s just a long powered coaster which is kinda fun, but I’m only noting this because this ride is like being baked in an easy bake oven. It was really hot when I went to Greenland, and this ride is similar to Pirate’s Hideaway where it’s just in a metal box, but wow that thing is blazing hot

Vekoma SLCs are weird rides to me. T3 is one of the worst coasters I’ve ever ridden, mind eraser at SFA was just completely boring, riddler at SFNE was rough but kinda run, and nor’easter was extremely smooth but not that intense. I really didn’t know what I was going to think about this ride considering my SLC opinions are so wonky, but wow this ride is terrible. This ride felt like exactly how normal thoosies describe SLCs. Literally every single moment of this ride is rough, even moments that don’t do anything like the turn from the break run into the station, and even right before you go down the first drop. Idk why this ride is as rough as it is but it’s just terrible. Easily the worst coaster in California and one of the worst anywhere. What makes this ride even worse is that I didn’t even find it to be forceful, it was just sheer roughness. I made the joke that Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (which actually is a very underrated park and one that I enjoy a lot), isn’t actual African themed, rather it’s Vietnam themed because it’s jungly, literally has the Kong, and that said Kong is brutally terrible

I literally thought this ride was SBNO before I went to the park so I was so happy to see this running, as I’ve been wanting to ride one of these Schwarzkopf shuttle loops for a while. This ride was much better than I thought it would be. The launch has a great initial kick to it, the loop going forward is great, and going backwards up into the second spike is surprisingly intense. This ride never had any line so I got quite a few rides on it. Really underrated and I’m glad I was able to ride one of these before this model goes extinct

This ride was intriguing to me as I honestly didn’t know what to expect and I came out pretty mixed. This might sound weird but this ride almost reminds me of Fujiyama in a way, in that the first half of this ride sucks but the second half is great. This ride has a lot of similarities to Mamba, but I actually much prefer the first half on Mamba to this while I prefer the second half of this to the second half of Mamba. The drop and floater hill are ok but the turnarounds only give mild laterals but are otherwise forceless. I actually found the turns on mamba to be pretty intense so this was disappointing. The second half is where this ride gets good though. The MCBR barely hits as this ride only runs one train, so if you’re towards the front you get some great airtime. Random note, but the tunnel on the return trip is so hot and you go through it so quickly that it feels like being hit with a fireball it’s kinda crazy. Overall this is one of the weaker gigas but still a fun ride

I thought I was going to find this ride underrated before riding it, and it certainly delivered. This ride has so much going for it. The inversions are great and the pullouts of them are surprisingly intense and have foot numbing, similarly to something like Copperhead Strike, and that’s paired with a great launch and an excellent ejector filled first drop. This ride is just so complete. I don’t like the restraints at all on this, but at least this ride isn’t janky like Mystery Mine is so it isn’t that big of a deal. The first half is a little rough but the second half is very smooth. I really like this ride and it’s just kinda funny to me how I rode this before riding Shellraiser

I’m a little mixed on this ride. Don’t get me wrong it’s a really fun ride with plenty of airtime moments and it’s in a great location, but the first half of this ride is so lackluster. There’s obviously the slow turnaround which is similar to the one on grizzly at KD, but really the whole first half of this ride is just really weak. The ending makes up for it with how janky and weird it is and the airtime is definitely better towards the front of the train. I still would put this ride over the B&M hypers and it’s a really fun ride but the first half is really weak

This ride is awesome. The double helix on this blasts you with positives and there’s plenty of airtime moments throughout a really long ride through the woods. The airtime isn’t the strongest but there’s tons of it. I actually prefer this ride to Fujiyama just because of how intense that helix is and there’s not really any dead spots on this ride because the pacing is so strong

I had ridden Pink Typhoon the day before this which absolutely blew me away and I was really excited to ride this. It’s still a great ride and easily the best ride at this park but I wouldn’t put it in the same tier as Pink Typhoon. It has two moments of really strong ejector and the helix is extremely intense as is the one on Pink Typhoon, but this ride does have some dead spots which keep it down a bit. The lack of a vertical loop is kinda disappointing too. Still a great underrated gem

This ride was a bit of a let down for me. On paper it looked like a really good ride and I was surprised that not a lot of people talked about it because the layout is great, but it just feels so watered down and force less. It has a few weak airtime moments but that’s about it. It’s a long ride but it just has so many dead spots. Not a bad ride but very forgettable

This was the only wooden coaster I rode while in Japan and this is actually quite a good ride. There’s one moment of ejector which is actually really strong mixed with a few other solid airtime moments and it’s a pretty smooth ride. It feels kinda slow but the forces are there

I didn’t really have expectations before riding this, but wow this ride was actually really fun and surprising. The ultra twister at nagashima was closed which I was pretty sad about and before going to this park (which is extremely underrated and awesome btw, probably my 3rd favorite park I visited in Japan) I kinda thought this would be closed too but I was really happy to see it running and even more happy to actually ride it. The lift hill on this is just weird, not really anything else to say about it (luckily it was cloudy so I wasn’t blinded like I am on most vertical lift hills), but the first drop is actually kind of insane. It’s really quick but it’s a really strong pop of airtime. The following camelback reminds me of the one on corkscrew, having sustained flojector, before the awesome inline twists. These inversions almost feel like mini moso rolls. They throw you out of your seat and flip you around in such a fun way. I was really surprised with how fun this ride was. Also, the MCBR stop isn’t as bad as people say, I’ve had way worse break slams. Literally the one before the lift hill is just as bad if not worse

Before I say anything, no I did not get a dueling ride on this. However, I legitimately could care less, no other RMC duels and no one has a problem with this, so I don’t get why it’s that big of a deal even if the ride is supposed to duel, literally who cares. Anyways this is a great ride, I’d say it’s more middle of the pack RMCs but still top 20. It’s a really long ride and has very traditional RMC airtime

This isn’t my favorite RMC, but it does everything that an RMC does do. Great airtime, fantastic layout, extremely fun. This is like the most RMC coaster ever if that makes sense. I much prefer the hyper hybrids and ArieForce but this is still a top 15 coaster

Holy crap this ride is insane. I had already ridden X2 before riding this, but let me just say this ride makes X2 feel like a kiddie coaster. For some reason, I actually thought the drop on this thing was way more insane than the one on X2, I’m not exactly sure why this would be but it was noticeable. Much like on X2, the pullout of the drop is just completely soul crushing, one of the most intense elements of all time. The thing that makes this ride so much better than X2 is while it actually has a similar style of intensity, literally every element on this coaster is insanely intense, not just two moments like it is on X2. This ride is basically the equivalent of being on a fighter jet which just got shot down. You have no idea where you’re going on this thing, all you know is you’re being crushed with positives and thrown all around. Even the break run on this as crazy as you just slam to a stop before flipping back. I also didn’t find this ride exceptionally rough, more just really violent, while X2 I actually found pretty rough. This is definitely a top 10 coaster for me and was my favorite in Japan, which is funny because before visiting the country I thought there would be literally no chance this was better than Hakugei but it in fact was

This is definitely a very good ride but it did leave me disappointed. It felt more like a B&M hyper than an Intamin mega. Most hills have floater with 2 solid ejector moments. All around this is a great ride but it's actually my #3 in the park

I am a huge fan of B&M standup coasters, and I was extremely excited to ride a Togo standup. This ride impressed me in just about every way. This ride has some crazy standup airtime, especially on the first drop and the drop and the drop off the turnaround, and the vertical loop is extremely intense, probably the single most intense vertical loop I’ve experienced on any coaster. Also, the restraints on these Togo standups give you so much room, making you fly off of the ground on the airtime hills. Such a good ride, I’m sad these Togo standups are extinct in America. Later in the day they ran this ride with a backwards sit down train which was also really fun and gave some great airtime, just as it does as a standup

This ride is the biggest waste of buzz bars ever. I actually had some hope for this ride even though I had heard mostly negative reviews of it just because of the fact that it had buzz bars but this ride did absolutely nothing. I didn’t find it exceptionally rough but it had no forces and is one of the most forgettable rides ever

Holy crap this ride is absolute nuts. This ride has quite possibly the strongest airtime I've experienced. It is jam packed with incredibly sharp airtime especially the first drop, wave turn, and especially the double down. This is an absolutely incredible new coaster

Normally I do not like B&M wings but this is the one major exception. This ride is awesome. That launch has such a good kick to it and all the inverisons are forceful and fun. Plus that inline twist at the end gives killer hangtime. The only bad thing about it is that I really do not like B&M vests at all so they do take away from the ride a little. However these are some of the better B&M vests I've experienced. Overall this is a great ride and I really hope B&M makes more launch wing coasters because this ride is truly awesome

This is a great ride. It's insanley long, flying through the woods with an incredible layout. However, I do consider this ride vastly overrated. While there are tons and tons of airtime moments, almost all of them are incredibly weak and some moments didn't even give any airtime. Regardless of some dead spots and the fact that this ride is overrated, it's still an incredible ride with some solid floater through an excellent terrain

I had a very weird experience on this exact kiddie coaster. For some reason it didn’t seem like the train would engage with the lift chain and we kept rolling back constantly. However this big tough Jersey dad saved the day as he was able to push the train up the lift hill lol. Weird experience but quite funny. Other than that it’s just a normal kiddie coaster
