Surprisingly rlly fun to ride. Obviously I can’t rlly rate it any higher due how the ride lacks pretty much everything (theming, forces etc) I can’t help but ride it every time I’m in Blackpool. However do note the ride and South Pier as a whole can often be infested with tiny flies, which will swarm you particularly on the lift hill. Quite gross but still an extremely funny ride especially with friends.
Having never experienced it before the conversion into a sit-down coaster I didn’t rlly know what to expect going into the ride.

The rides biggest con actually happens to partially be its one of its biggest pros, that being the lap bars. On one hand the lap bar is one of the more free and least restrictive restraints for your upper body out there, which good rlly well on an inversion focused layout. However, the lap bar feels like a hydraulic press on your legs, crushing them the entire ride.
The Wave also has TERRIBLE capacity for such a short coaster, hardly pumping trains out to the point of one of the slowest moving queues I’ve seen.
However the rides major saving grace are the inversions, particularly the amazing zero-g roll. That combined with the how free your upper body is thankfully saves the coaster in my eyes. It went a forgettable looping coaster to one that you’d keep coming back to just for that one singular moment.
Overall a looping coaster with average elements besides the insane zero-g roll, still definitely the most thrilling ride in the park.

Easily the best coaster in the UK with little to no debate. The drop is insane, the following elements either have great airtime, whip or hangtime. The restraints are excellent giving you so much room and freedom.
Obviously however, the ride suffers from one major issue in the form of the length. It’s pretty much over as soon as it starts and rlly could do with some more elements (particularly cause you’re probably waiting over 40 minutes).
The theming and occasional vibrating in the trains are some more negatives however they don’t massively effect the experience for me.
Definitely the ride the UK needed.

Overall one of the most “average” rides I’ve ridden but in a good way. You can’t rlly fault it as on ride there’s no moments you’d hate but then there’s no moments that you’d love.
I’ve found the inversions as the best part of the ride particularly both loops as they’re taken surprisingly fast but they still lack any intensity.
The ride is tall and the drop is fun however it lacks any airtime or whip.
The helix and slow hills can be considered as dead spots but they serve more as scenic and have cool interaction with Odyssey and the paths under the ride.
Thankfully the ride is entirely smooth throughout.
Overall an enjoyable but not excellent ride. Does nothing amazingly yet does nothing poorly.
Perfectly average.

The excellent first drop into the massive vertical loop is easily the best sequence on the ride however the rest kind of lacks.
The cobra roll is less rough than I thought it would be however it’s taken so slow there’s little to no force.
However the following high turn into the sidewinder is genuinely one of the roughest moments I’ve experienced which is baffling as they’re taken at such a slow pace.
The ending corkscrew is decently whippy however but the ride is easily carried by its beginning however the drop is so good it makes riding worth it tho.
Roughness is definitely an issue with the head banging but I still found it tolerable and managed 7 rides that day.
Overall 4 stars entirely because of the beginning.
