The Beast is a rollercoaster every coaster enthusiast should ride at least once. It is very fast for an older wooden coaster and that's where most of the fun comes from. In addition to that there's actually some really enjoyable airtime-like moments along the ride. But this is anything but a smooth ride (when The Beast is at maximum speed the train hops along the track) and I think the trains could use some more legroom. Nevertheless, the ride is a lot of fun, unique and something that has to be experienced.

I think this could have been a much better coaster. Although the launch is nice and the vest restraint on this is surprisingly good the high speed of the ride causes a major rattle which disrupts the riding experience. I think this coaster would be better off with a lower high speed. It is worth one ride though just for that launch which is amazing.

The first launch is great. The rest of the ride is kind of pointless though. I hate the restraints in front but in the back they're alright because of the space you've got between the seats. Just like Heidi it's another ride for the younger coaster enthusiasts.

I expected a bit more from an RMC coaster, especially given that this is the first single rail I've been on. The whole thing is pretty tame and I'd rather describe it as an inverting bobsled than a rollercoaster. And the restraint which I refuse to call a lap bar, more like a prototype cage-like contraption, is awful and makes airtime uncomfortably work on your legs. Which springs to mind the question: Why isn't the entire metal on the restraint touching your leg at least padded? I don't know how you're supposed to enjoy airtime in these awful restraints. What was enjoyable though were the inversions and especially the Zero-G-Stall which was my favorite moment of the ride and the only reason to ride this thing again. The layout without airtime was enjoyable in general. Overall, I think it is a pretty good rollercoaster with an ill-conceived basic concept.

One of the most underrated rides I have been on. For an over 40 year old rollercoaster it is very smooth, has the best looping on any ride I've been on and still manages to attract many visitors. It is the perfect rollercoaster to introduce to newcomers.
In terms of capacity it is great with two trains running. With only one train the capacity is atrocious.
The ride itself is surprisingly good. The first drop is nice, the looping is awesome and there is a very nice airtime moment on the ride. The double helix is alright but doesn't do much.
Be wary on the final brake run in the tunnel though. As on all Schwarzkopfs the braking is very abrupt.
Overall it is a very good coaster which despite its age manages to stay relevant to the coaster world. A true classic that has luckily been kept and renovated by the people at Hansa Park.

I love both European Intamin Prefabs (Colossos and Balder), so I went on this ride with pretty high expectations. It is shocking what can happen to what seemed to be a world class rollercoaster. The entire track rattles (the unbelievably bad track condition is visible from the front row). But that's not all. On top of that, the lap bars are atrocious here, even more than they admittedly usually are. Every train I saw in the station had to be double and triple checked before going out due to the awful restraints. And the lap bars themselves aren't very comfortable either. Apart from that, the ride has many very good airtime hills, nice transitions, no dead spots and probably one of the best layouts a wooden coaster can have. I suspect this was one of the best rollercoasters in the world hence the rank in the Top 100. But now this rollercoaster desperately needs a new track and restraint system.

A good B&M Invert coaster. The first drop, while being pretty unusual, is nice, there are great forces and the ride is very fast paced. However, I think all of the other B&M Inverts I rode had a better balanced out layout, this one is pretty rough but in a fun way.

For 2001 this is a really nice rollercoaster. By nowadays standards it's pretty forceless but probably ideal to get new people into the hobby. The airtimes in the front were nice and plentyful although they were "only" floater. It reminds me a lot of Goliath at Walibi Holland over in Europe but with floater airtime. Ironically, Goliath was also built for the Six Flags group. All in all, this is an outdated yet very enjoyable rollercoaster that is worth a couple of rides at Six Flags Great Adventure.

This is a nice B&M Inverted Coaster. The first drop over the parking lot looks so high, the intensity is almost too much and the elements are good and interesting. The entire thing end a bit abruptly though. I think it could use a couple of additional hundred meters.

A really nice and forceful B&M Invert. The first drop is awesome, especially in the front row, the ride is very intense and all of the elements are very well placed into the layout. This is a must-ride when visiting Kings Island.

A nicely themed dive coaster. I absolutely love that they didn't put vest restraints on this one like they did it with Valkyria at Liseberg. The first drop is nice although not as far as I had hoped and the ride despite featuring one inversion and an airtime is way too short. Nevertheless it is a very nice coaster only for that one drop. I wouldn't spend over 15-20 minutes in the queue though.

A truly great rollercoaster that I would have loved to ride the way it was meant to be with the launch. A relatively slow chain-lift really isn't going to replace an LSM launch. Nevertheless, Lightning Rod is still an absolute airtime machine and is my personal favorite of RMCs regarding airtime. As on many other RMCs the track needs to be warmed up in order to experience the best this ride has to offer. The only real con of this ride is a rattle after the wave turn. I guess there's a certain bit of the track that needs replacing as it doesn't look right as well. It has cost me the first two rides on the backrows thus I do not recommend anyone over 6' to use the backrows. The rides up front are really enjoyable though and one of the best RMC experiences to make.

I really like this one. The first drop starting off with the inversion is an awesome twist and great in the backrows. Furthermore, the airtimes are pure fun and despite a bit of bunny hop antics (I don't like them too much usually) the ride doesn't buck you into the restraint aggressively (unlike Wildcat's Revenge for example). The track could feature one or two more inversions in my opinion but that's just nitpicking. All in all, this is an awesome RMC and a second great attraction behind the 305 (or however they'll rename it).

This is a ride that's fast from start to finish and there are no dead spots. The first drop is awesome and the subsequent turn is very forceful. But after that the elements are pretty tame whilst the ride still remains fast. It is kind of like a B&M Mega/Hyper/Giga coaster after that turn. There's only (good) floating airtime and a tad of flojector on one hill. Riding is great fun and the coaster is in my opinion one of the best at Cedar Point.

I would have never thought a B&M Hyper could be this good. The first drop is amazing, the airtime is awesome and plentyful and the overall pacing is very well done except for the trim brake before the last helix (but you almost don't notice it in the front seat). Overall, I had the most fun riding this and Storm Runner at Hersheypark.

This is a surprisingly good ride. I managed to get a ride free of the headbanging but I know that it is there as on all Gerstlauer rollercoasters with the bulky over-the-shoulder harness. They really should update the trains to Infinity coasters with lap bars if possible (those are much better). The ride's theming is top notch and the entire ride is very interestingly made. The Mystery Mine is probably an ideal ride for more inexperienced riders to get hooked on rollercoasters.

Colossos is one of the most intense and yet smooth wooden rollercoasters I know (at least its first half). The airtime is ridiculously awesome on those first few hills and the positive Gs this ride packs are just insane for any wooden coaster. The ride features a giant dead spot though in the shape of a double-helix (I absolutely hate those) and the layout after that definitely had more forces back before the retracking than now. But I appreciate that the management of Heide Park toned this ride down to minimize the track's wear. El Toro's track over in the US is in such bad condition (possibly due to too much stress on the track). Colossos' track is butter smooth and that's the way these rollercoasters should remain. The monster on the track is a nice addition and the theming has generally improved since the retracking. I also like the lap bar (better than El Toro's) and general comfort of the cars. Overall, Colossos is a pretty family friendly ride and is still a fun experience even if you have been on many better rollercoasters. It's like a wooden version of Goliath at Walibi Holland.

A great coaster with a superb launch and a subsequent ride filled with intensity and speed. I hadn't remembered how surprisingly good it is despite its relatively short track. The hydraulic cable launch is so much fun and very rare to find these days. If you like intensity in a roller coaster you should definetely give this one a try since literally every part of the track until the brake is intense. Theming wise it isn't the best but that doesn't matter to me with this coaster. I believe this ride to be criminally underrated and the second best ride at Heide Park after Colossos.

I like the inversions on it, they are not as intense as on regular coasters. But having ridden many other coasters, I think this type of rollercoaster leaves something to be desired. Not too bad though, just average. Sadly the vest restraints are as horrible as they come though.

I love that this Wing Coaster starts off with a drop rather than an inversion. There are some nice near miss effects in the front row, the ride is fast and typically for B&M there is smoothness.

An excellent dive coaster. Just like many of the other B&M Dive Coasters it is a bit too short. Unfortunately it features vest restraints in combination with a stupid harness which is very phisically restricting during the ride. This could have been solved much better in my opinion.
The drop is excellent and especially amazing in the front row.
The following track is a lot of fun as well. It feels very smooth and makes the ride more interesting. Overall worth a ride but for me it could never compete with a regular rollercoaster, the concept is just inferior in general.

This is an underrated coaster. It has a great first drop, very good airtime and the first turn really shows you the height where you're at. It might be a bit slower than the absolute masterpiece Fury 325 but it works out in favor of the airtime (especially in the front row). All in all, a very good rollercoaster and a must-ride alongside Fury 325.

It is amazing how much speed a single launch can create. It is the best one I've experienced so far. For me, the ride is all about that launch and the ascend to the tophat. The drop is inferior to an inversionless one (like Red Force's) but it is still fun. In my opinion Storm Runner at Hersheypark is the better accelerator coaster as it still has a ride after the awesome cable launch. Nevertheless, Kingda Ka is a rollercoaster every enthusiast should have ridden at least once.

This is one of the best rollercoasters in the world if not the best for me. The first drop is phenomenal, the intensity is perfect (any more would be too much), the speed is awesome and the ride is smooth despite the pace. In contrast to Maverick I love the transitions despite their being intense and the seats are a bit better too. I think the restraints could be better though, they are just inferior to the modern Intamin over-the-shoulder lap bars. But all in all, this is an awesome rollercoaster that everybody who likes intense rides has to experience.

This is a very unique rollercoaster. Probably the perfect rollercoaster if you love hangtime. It features a lot of hangtime, some ejector airtime and is pretty intense from start to finish. Copperhead Strike gives Carowinds a good additional variety in rollercoasters and a Mack launch coaster is never a bad choice.

This is an absolute masterpiece of a rollercoaster. The first drop is out of this world and never seems to stop, the ride has intensity, speed, nice airtimes and the layout is close to perfect. The ride is action from start to finish and it's just so much fun. Fury 325 deservedly won many Golden Ticket Awards and is amongst the best rollercoasters in this world.

This is a really good wooden rollercoaster with nice airtime, fast pace and a lot of intensity. What I particularly do not like as much are the quick turns on this thing. Despite having some good airtime, I think the focus could have been more on those than on the quick turns. Nevertheless, this is a really good rollercoaster and worth a few rides when at Dollywood.

The first drop is great although you sadly do not drop through the ground which would give a lot more thrill. The elements are pretty well composed after that point too. But I can barely feel the second drop. It's a nice B&M Dive Coaster but nothing special.
