A really good wooden coaster. And it is not nearly as rough as The Beast. It has a nice first drop, a very good layout and good theming (by US standards at least). I am not a particular fan of the GCI lap bar though. All in all, Mystic Timbers is a very nice ride that I'd ride anytime.

This is like a smaller version of Shambhala at PortAventura in Spain. I think Diamondback is better composed than Orion as the second half doesn't disappoint here. There is some nice airtime, a great first drop and no real dead spot. The only negative aspect of this ride is the slight rattle in the last rows but it doesn't really disrupt the riding experience.

The first half of this ride is nearly perfect. Awesome first drop, pace and airtimes. However, the second half of the ride leaves something to be desired. The ride doesn't really capitalize on the pace anymore as in the first half. And the trim completely destroys the ride, especially in the last rows. This ride would easily be on one level with Hyperion at Energylandia if the design of the second part of the ride was executed better. Nevertheless, it is still a very good rollercoaster and riding it is much fun.

It's very interesting to see a rollercoaster with vertical lifthill that isn't made by Gerstlauer. Fahrenheit has a pretty good first drop, nice overall track layout and it is fast paced from the beginning to the end. The seats are awfully discomfortable though and the buckles are even worse than those on Storm Runner, I can barely get them closed. The capacity isn't the best too. Nevertheless, it is still a great ride and worth the wait at least once when you're at Hersheypark.

Wildcat's Revenge is a very good rollercoaster with a unique track layout and awesome airtime and for 3/4 of the ride it looks like a masterpiece. But the last section is so badly paced that even if you cling onto the nicely designed new handles (which I usually refuse to do) you're getting painfully flung into the lap bar. That last overly fast paced section overshadows all of the legitimate fun I have during the main part of the ride.

I went onto this ride knowing next to nothing besides its being a Schwarzkopf with a launch. The ride in the darkness is an absolute madness that is worth at least one ride each time one visits the park. Making this an indoor attraction was a brilliant idea.

A nice small rollercoaster. It does not feature as many inversions as for example Abyssus but it actually works out in its favor. The entire ride is fun and the launch is quite nice. It is much more fun than Abyssus since the inversions on it are a lot more comfortable. Only a shame that the track is that short.

It is a very good family coaster and has many good moments for younger coaster enthusiasts and people who aren't used to riding big coasters. The theming is very well done and the capacity is one of the best ones in the park when the ride is operated with three trains.

"Fluch(t) von Novgorod" is a very good and unique rollercoaster with world class theming, a launch that is always fun and an awesome beyond vertical drop in the dark. One could say it is a bit too short but I feel the elements are very well balanced out.
The general layout is very nice, but I think the coaster would be better if it had a lap bar. The shoulder harness on these coasters is atrocious. Not only can't you move your arms around but you always have the neighbour's elbow in your arm. Although I have already seen worse restraints by the likes of Vekoma (e. g. Express Platform 13). Nevertheless it sadly disrupts the experience.
The launch is superb and one of the best I have experienced, the subsequent airtime hill is very good and would be excellent if the coaster would be reimplemented with lap bars. The pretzel-turn (in German: Buchtknoten) is kind of there. It doesn't annoy but it is not that great either. The beyond vertical drop in the tower is awesome though and makes this ride more fun.
Overall the ride is definitely worth one or two rides on your visit but "Der Schwur des Kärnan" does many things better (especially the restraints) than "Fluch von Novgorod". But it is still very unique and feels like a relatively relaxing experience in contrast to "Der Schwur des Kärnan".

The scenery for this ride is breathtaking. For the first European RMC it is a great attempt. The Zero-G-Stall is awesome (albeit not as good as Zadra's), the overbanked airtime hill is great and the coaster has a lot of pace in general. There is a slight rattle during the ride, due to the Topper Track, but unless you're stapled, which some of the operators sadly do, it doesn't disrupt the ride. The biggest issue and why I think this coaster is not as good as it could have been is the entire second half in which the ride loses a lot of its vital pace. Maybe the IBox Track would not have resulted in such a decrease in velocity. Especially on the last ascend the loss of pace is evident. Maybe they could have cut the second half of the ride and it would have been a better experience. But generally the ride's good elements make up for the dead spots. Overall it is a truly special ride that I would definitely ride again when I'm near Kolmården.

A very smooth woodie. It has a really nice first drop, a decent layout and is a rollercoaster that will bring many younger enthusiasts towards riding bigger coasters. It is not as intense as I had hoped but it's alright since it is basically a kiddie ride. Nevertheless it is definitely worth a ride or two.

What a weird rollercoaster. It is unlike every other one I have ever ridden. It is almost too intense to be enjoyable.
After you get used to the track (which took me about three rides) it can be a load of fun. However the quality of every ride can differ a lot. For example the rides where you don't experience airtime from the side are much better than the ones where you do. But generally every ride has its enjoyable moments.
Sadly the train already consistently rattles during the ride which is questionable for a two year old rollercoaster. The lap bar is very tight on this ride, so make sure you find a comfortable spot to make this ride enjoyable and not painful.
I wouldn't call it a masterpiece due to the rattling combined with the fact that the quality of each ride will always differ. But overall it is a very special rollercoaster every enthusiast should experience.

I guess this rollercoaster is as good as it gets with older Vekoma coasters. The restraints are terrible and the ride's discomfort is only outmatched by Express Platform 13's, it rattles and actually none of the inversions are that great. As on many Vekomas including the newer ones (e. g. Abyssus at Energylandia) the ride once again features much too quickly driven through loopings. Nevertheless the ride looks great near the lake and it probably serves as a cult classic for older generations.

A very good coaster with an amazing theming. The elements feel very well balanced out. Although I think the elements don't feel as special as the ones on other rollercoaster types. The first drop is awesome especially in the front row. All the inversions and other elements are very smooth and relatively intense.

Going into this ride I didn't even consider that it could possibly be better or even slightly as good as Hyperion. Partially that is true, but only in terms of the first drop and the capacity. The ride itself is a brilliant and intense masterpiece which is action from start to finish, there are no dead spots. All, yes literally all, airtime hills deliver extremely enjoyable ejector airtime (at least in the backseats). Just like Zadra at Energylandia it is a rollercoaster that is as close to a perfect ride as can be. All elements are awesome and supplement each other. If you like ejector airtime (just like I do) this is one of the best rides for you!

What a crazy rollercoaster or rather rollercoaster concept. Especially with the LSM launch this ride is a load of fun. The acceleration is incredibly long and intense, the ascend is nice and the drop is just awesome. The over-the-shoulder lap bar is amazing and takes this coaster to the next level. You are never stapled and the fall is like a frefall tower drop. This is especially noticeable in the last rows. I actually get everything out of this ride that I'm looking for in a coaster. There is intensity, an awesome drop and a fast paced layout that is admittedly a bit short. This is one of the most amazing experiences I have made on a rollercoaster and thus I do recommend to check this out.

Abyssus is a nice family launch coaster. It is generally fun to ride and has many interesting elements. Sadly Vekoma once again used the vest restraints which I cannot stand since they disrupt every riding experience. On top of that the elements are unfortunately not very well designed. For example the trim brake on the top hat slows down the train and yet it still drives through the subsequent looping much too quickly. There is theoretically some nice airtime on this ride which is cut short by the vest restraint's abruptly pulling you down. The batwing and the other elements are alright though and that makes the ride at least a bit re-rideable. For me Abyssus was a huge disappointment at Energylandia considering both of the big coasters they built before (Zadra and Hyperion) were excellent. Overall I wouldn't call Abyssus bad but I wouldn't call it great either.

This was my first B&M Invert and only the second Inverted Coaster after Limit, which I found to be atrocious. So I went on Black Mamba with mixed feelings. Those were as it turns out completely unfounded since I absolutely love this ride.
First of all the theming is world class. The queue line is right next to the track and leads through a very skillfully designed African environment. It really helps to put you in the right mood for the ride.
In terms of the riding itself there is much to offer too. The first drop is decent, the inverted looping, inversions and all other elements are super smooth and well paced. They also provide a lot of intensity, which I didn't expect. In general all of the elements feel well balanced out.
Overall I must say that this B&M Inverted Coaster is much more enjoyable than the inferior Vekoma SLCs. Although I think Vekoma have nowadays learned their lesson since F.L.Y. which is also situated at Phantasialand manages to offer a very good and comfortable experience too.
When you're at Phantasialand definetely don't miss out on this one.

Zadra is in my opinion the closest a rollercoaster can get to perfect. And so far I wasn't really that blown away by RMC's work in Europe (Wildfire and Untamed). Zadra has a beautiful track layout featuring the best zero-g-stall I know, a great zero-g-roll and one of the best first drops I have ever experienced. There is some nice airtime on the coaster too, although I don't enjoy airtime on RMCs as on Intamins for example. Nevertheless it is fun. Zadra should definetely be warmed up in order to be experienced to the full extent, the rides on the morning often feel dull in comparison with the rides later in the day. The only real con of the coaster which I could not select is the queue line. What were they even thinking. I mean yes it is better to have a longer queue line than you actually think you need but they really went over the top. Walking 10 minutes just to get back in line is really annoying. But overall Zadra as a coaster is worth a trip to Energylandia on its own because it is a masterpiece.

An intense and powerful coaster. In fact the amazing first drop already provides airtime and it almost felt like riding a Freefall tower - Beautiful! And after the drop the G-forces are so enormous that I'm wondering if there can even be a more intense coaster on this planet (looking forward to riding Intimidator 305). During the plentyful airtimes you also get the sensation that you're flying which I so far have only experienced on F.L.Y. at Phantasialand. I guess Intamin's over-the-shoulder lap bar improves airtime a lot - I also noticed that on Taron.
The only con is that on the outer seats the ride can be a bit uncomfortable because of the rattle. The mddle seats are ok though. Overall a great coaster and alongside Zadra a good reason to visit Energylandia.

First of all the theming including the atmosphere is superb. The ride experience itself is something I could not have imagined. It truly does feel like flying. This is the first coaster by Vekoma I've ridden which I would call a masterpiece. The riding experience is very smooth, unique and comfortable. This coaster is worth a trip to Phantasialand on its own.

Definetely more interesting than I had imagined. For an older ride it is quite intense and has a very nice layout. The braking at the end might be a bit tough, but at least there are some signs telling you so. Overall a nice ride.
