This first launch will forever be missed. Front row rides were always epic, especially at night. The restraints I always found to be quite comfortable since it is just a lap bar. Launch is pretty smooth considering how fast you are going. Going up the top and dropping doesn’t do as much for me as the first launch, but it’s still crazy. You are still flying after the drop. I am very excited to ride Top Thrill 2, but not having that fast launch is concerning. The elements of Top Thrill 2 still look insane, but it might be hard to match the original’s intensity because of a launch that is the definition of breathtaking.
