Shockingly great airtime machine. With a bit of room on the bar, some of those hills feel like Phoenix at Knoebels at its best. It's far from the smoothest ride in the world, which is expected for something that's 100 years old, but it more than makes up for that with its crazy aggressive airtime moments. If you can enjoy Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, you will absolutely love this ride too.

A phenomenal RMC. Doesn’t even need the launched lift to be great. Every element hits really well, and it’s not painful on my shins!!! The drops are good, the lateral/wave turns are so fun, and the quad down lived up to the hype. Easily the best coaster in the park, and one of the best RMCs out there. Also a phenomenal night ride due to the in-the-woods location and unpredictable layout.

I waited an hour for this piece of junk just to get the rollercoaster credit. It was pretty lousy. The Real E-Rock doesn't like it either, but then again he only likes a ride if he gets physically ejected from the train.

Medusa was the only floorless rollercoaster I had been on until I rode Rougarou. While Medusa is very smooth and loaded with fun inversions like the dive loop and camelback twist, Rougarou is nowhere near as good. Since it used to be a stand up coaster, it has only loops and corkscrews. I was also surprised at how much head banging I experienced during the corkscrews. CP should really look into replacing or modifying this ride.

This was the major attraction at SFGAdv for many years. It was a decent coaster for its time, but definitely not as smooth or interesting as modern looping coasters. While there was a bit of roughness on this ride, I think it's generally over exaggerated. This was nowhere near as rough as a ride like Viper. The trains had a little bit of a rattle and the restraints didn't secure your waist, so you did jostle around a bit. Still, the coaster was pretty fun. Seven loops was a record for its time. One complaint I had about this ride was that 3 of the inversions were regular loops. There could have been a little more variety in the layout. Still, you had to appreciate this ride because of how it helped the park get back on its feet after a few tragic incidents in the 80s.
