I don't know what this coaster wants to be: for a family ride, it is fairly intense and has some parts in complete darkness, but for a thrill coaster, it lacks some bite. The layout looks interesting and is versatile, but none of the element really delivers - the launch is funny, but nothing more than a gimmick and the beginning in the darkness is an interesting take, but VERY short. Then, the part after the lift hill reminds of a Vekoma SFC, but worse: the layout looks better than it actually is and albeit being speedy, it mostly meanders from one side to another. That alone would not be too bad, but this ride has an annoying rattle which spoils the ride experience. At least, the ride is nicely themed - but nevertheless it was a disappointment for me because it looked intriguing but failed to deliver...

Et pour finir une théma soignée, même si l'arche d'entrée fait un peu carton pâte et que la gare pourrait être également plus thematisée, mais bon au moins la présentation est propre et un effort à été fait par le parc pour essayer de passer un nouveau cap niveau thématisation.

Niveau layout, les passages dans le noir apportent vraiment du cachet au coaster (Dommage qu'ils ne comportent pas de surprises telles que des changements de direction ou tout autre élément pour nous surprendre)
Après dans l'ensemble ça reste un coaster très très familial, donc à part deux trois G's Latéraux ou du G+ très limité dans les virages. Il n'y a pas de sensations particulières.

Definetely a great family-friendly ride, but for me, Juvelen is a bit overrated:
Sure, it is a long twisty ride which gets surprisingly fast after the second launch and it is definitely fun - theming is also nicely done. But the trains are actually like "looks shiny, but is impractical": the straddled seating is surely something special which can not be found everywhere, but for me, it did not add anything for the ride experience. The "side guards" are not that comfortable (I got punched into the hips during some transitions) and the capacity is hampered due to the cumbersome boarding process leading to long lines - dispatches could be much quicker if they had the standard sit-down trains found on modern coasters. Nevertheless, it is a good ride, but it could be better.
This is a really mighty airtime machine - you get yeeted out of your seat all the way. Pacing is aggressive and the ride runs fairly smooth.

This is a really mighty airtime machine - you get yeeted out of your seat all the way. Pacing is aggressive and the ride runs fairly smooth.
The only downside is the restraint and/or the safety belt which can be a bit painful on one certain particularly harsh transition - but nevertheless easily the best ride at Djurs Sommerland!

A good step for beginners as the first coaster underneath the tracks - not really intense, but still fun for everyone. The location above the lake is beautiful with the tunnel under the water being the highlight - and the station is also nicely themed. The only real disadvantage might be the relatively low throughput with only one train and a broad target group.
