Achterbahn Rezensionen

It has really fun drops, and the theming is cool. But this has nothing on a beast like LRod so I gotta rate it low.

I fell asleep. There are no forces. It is literally just a kiddy coaster with your feet hanging as a gimmick. These Vekoma rides are so boring, and I know it’s built for five year olds, but this ride is simply not enjoyable. I have more fun pushing a shopping cart around a mall and making it spin than this. I literally fell asleep, and this line took a whole hour.

Pretty mid. For a family coaster, it’s good, but not really appealing to me. Also, it was a staircase wait, and I still had to wait forty-five minutes because the operations were so slow. I simply cannot comprehend why the operations at Dollywood are so slow. They take forever!

It was pretty cool. Yea it’s gimmicky, but that drop is pretty neat ngl.
-
I just don’t get the hype man. The scenery isn’t grown in yet so it really isn’t a scenic ride. The launches are fairly weak, and the profiling on the hills makes it so that there is no airtime to be found on the entire ride, even though they had potential for some. Why are enthusiasts acting like this is one of the best family coaster in the world, when it got beaten by Blue Streak at CP in my rankings?
-
First drop and 1-2 inversions were pretty intense. The rest was kinda tame. I liked the setting, but it was still pretty mid.

Airtimes Tempo
It was fast! It had a ton of weak airtime moments, and that’s about it. The pace was definitely the best part, but honestly the airtime was weak and it just felt like another upper-half GCI.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors
Even with a chainlift, it is still the second best roller coaster I’ve been on. The airtime is wild.
-
Isn’t it great when you are riding a rollercoaster built for five year olds when you really could be riding the best rollercoaster in the world just a couple minutes walk away from you. The things I do for credits.
-
It’s pretty bad when most people prefer an arrow mine train over your ride with three inversions. Ow. Just, ow.
-
It’s an Arrow mine train just like all the rest. Nothing special.
-
I hit my head coming off those midcourse brakes. Ow.
-
What I got from riding: 😴 +1 credit

This is the most underrated rollercoaster in the world. The ejector on this ride is INSANE, especially at night. Get a night ride on this, it’s sure as heck worth it. This beats out every B&M in Ohio (except Diamondback I still love you 😘).
-
It’s underrated, but it isn’t outstanding. Do it once just because it has a station wait all the time and be done with it.
-
Just a GP gimmick of a ride. Nothing more. Good thing is that it sucks crowds away from actually good rides so us thoosies can have an easier wait SteVe. If you’re gonna ride it, wait until nights where it has no crowd.

First Drop Hangtime
I mean it isn’t mind blowing. In terms of wings it is just super average. It makes for a cool park entrance and spectacle, but the actual ride isn’t much to praise. It moves pretty slow, and although that makes for some nice hang time, I would still rather have the intense, whippy inversions that Raptor had over the slow graceful ones. Still an okay ride, just nothing to rave about.

I chose airtime over fertility. If I don’t have any kids, know this is why.

Intensität
Man I love the intensity. There’s no rattle, no matter what people say. The inversions snap you like crazy. Funny story, on my first ride, the restraint popped up all the way on the lifthill, so I just used this to my advantage and gave myself a few clicks of room between myself and the restraint. Then the restraints were crushed onto me at the end of the first drop, so that was fun. Almost four stars, but I’ll settle for three and a half.

First Drop Schoßbügel Tempo Airtimes
Okay, maybe it is a little forceless. It is still a really fast, nice, well-paced ride that, while tame, is still a joy. I do wish it had more airtime. The moments it does have are good to great, but it only has four moments of air.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Rückhaltebügel Zuverlässigkeit
Love the ride. The actual coaster is a great, whippy, intense machine. Two problems, the restraints are kinda bad, and it closes whenever it rains even a little. Other than that, the Stengel dives and the first drop are some of the best elements of all time.

Airtimes Tempo Ejectors
Back row SteVe is the best rollercoaster of all time. Change my mind.

Airtimes Spaß Dauer
It was fun. I never understood how people thought it was rough. There aren’t issues, it’s just kind of there and a one and done.

Airtimes First Drop Enttäuschend!
Don’t get me wrong, I love this ride. Out of my weak credit count of 40, it came in at number four, which seems high on the surface, but that means it’s barely in my top 10% of coasters. I thought this would be my number one or two. It was definitely overhyped for me, and I have heard that it runs on different wheels depending on the year, but I don’t know it just wasn’t it. The airtime was strong floater at best and I expected to be flying through the double up, but it felt like I was riding down the drop on Woodstock Express. Just slow and disappointing. The drop was fun though!

Airtimes Nette Überraschung! Spaß
For the height they worked with, this is a masterpiece. If there was a stats to airtime duration ratio, this would have to be on the upper end of the spectrum for sure. We need more of these gravity group family woodies because they are great. I could see this fitting at a park like Silverwood or Holiday World that doesn’t have much of a thrill gap between two coasters.

Airtimes Tempo Intensität Zu kurz
Going in, I knew it would be good, but oh my gosh, it was way better than I thought, beating out rides I thought for sure would be better like Storm Chaser and Twisted Timbers. It starts off with a good looking lifthill and sooner than you know it, you’re being tugged down that steep drop. You take a lateral filled turn and go into a camelback that feels very similar if not better airtime than the first drop. You enter a large yet fast turnaround. You don’t go all the way to the ground before going into another hill that moves into a wave turn and an ejector filled downdrop which has a great tug in the back row. You go into another turnaround that has two more ejector moments. You go into a speedy and lateral filled s-bend that is very underrated before those famous thigh breaking bunny hills. If yo7 couldn’t tell, I love this ride.

Standort Tempo Spaß Zu kurz Enttäuschend!
One of the most overrated coasters at KI for me, everybody raves about this being the best family coaster at the park, but I don’t see it. While I may not be the biggest fan, it’s a somewhat fun ride with decent pace and might be the most intense coaster that everybody in the family enjoys.

Airtimes Schoßbügel Dauer Intensität
I love this ride. I’m proud my home park has an elite coaster like this. If you couldn’t tell, diamondback is a B&M hyper and has loads of floater airtime, maybe the most floater in the world. It’s so sustained that, in the back row, you sustain airtime on the first hill from the start of the ascent all the way to the valley of the hill, and your butt is in mild pain. Speaking of mild, this ride is not intense. It may look intimidating, but on the ride it’s pure fun. There are no extreme positive or negative g’s, nor shoulder breaking laterals *cough cough backlot.* If heaven was a ride, this would be it. You go deep in the woods in the middle and glide along and on top of the midways in the start and end, and it’s a great experience off-ride because of that splash down. It is super picturesque and a staple of off-ride footage at Kings Island. I give it a 4.5 because I wish it could have a little added intensity. Maybe make that turn into the mid-course tighter, but that’s my only minor complaint. Over all a great ride.

Airtimes Standort Tempo Zu kurz
Throw theming up there in the pros, I can’t add anymore. I don’t care how hyped the shed was, it’s a great ride, and I don’t care how OVERRATED the ride is, it’s a great ride. Seriously though, people have to chill with the rave reviews and talk about Diamondback, that’s something to rave about.

First Drop Kapazität Schoßbügel Zu kurz Dead spots
Another great creation of B&M, this blue giga coaster may be outshined by a coaster 1/3 of it’s size in the same park, but this ride delivers a fairly intense experience, most notably the Orion’s Belt, and some great moments of airtime. Two moments of floater, two ejector, one flojector. You start off with an incredible first drop, diving into a ravine and delivering arguably the best airtime moment in the ride. Next comes two useless elements, an airtimeless wave turn and a rip-off treble clef delivering no forces. I would rather have to i305 type snaps, the first a little less drawn out going 45° to the right, and the next being way more sustained going all the way back into the next element. However, you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit. Up next is a flojector speed hill with 5 awesome second of air, then a camelback giving the last floater moment. Then we head into a massive gray-out inducing helix into a mini twisted dip which gives possible the best airtime on the ride. The ejector is most definitely the strongest, however it’s not sustained, so some may prefer the first-drop like me. And then the pop into the brakes comes shortly after. I would’ve liked to see more to the layout, as when you pop into the brakes, you have half full tank of gas.
