I think that this wild mouse coaster BEATS out the one at my home park (Michigan's Adventure) in terms of layout & craziness. My step-dad Joe and I waited 30-45 minutes in line for it last October. And after the ride was over, he was freaking out a bit and pleading "No more!" several times. 🤣

I don't hate regular wild mouses, but this one is definitely a step up in my opinion. The spinning definitely adds to the experience by making the "laterals" more unpredictable. The car I was in was quite imbalanced and got a lot of the spinning. It tracks very smoothly. I found the position of the lap bar to be rather odd, as in it was kind of pushing up against my stomach rather than down on my legs. That was weird, but it wasn't painful. This was my first Zamperla coaster. I was hoping I could get that strata lawn ornament across the park as my first, but no such luck. While I'm definitely not in the target demographic for this, I enjoyed it and would take it over a regular wild mouse any day.

When I first rode this, I absolutely hated it. But now that I got a re-ride, I quite enjoy this ride. It has a lot of fun spiny moments that fit nicely with the layout. I love the theming of the ride....

When I first rode this, I absolutely hated it. But now that I got a re-ride, I quite enjoy this ride. It has a lot of fun spiny moments that fit nicely with the layout. I love the theming of the ride. It has some fun characters to it with each of their own personality, and their own car. The lift hill music is such a banger. The capacity on this thing sucks, but it’s a spinning wild mouse so that’s just how things kinda work with that. Overall, great ride for young thrill seekers, or just people who wanna enjoy a simple, yet fun ride.

Last year, I had a disappointing experience with this, making it easily my least favorite spinning coaster and a 1.5 star rating. The main reason for this was the restraint. It HURT, digging into my stomach and ruining the ride. This time, the restraint was terrible, but I was actually able to enjoy the ride. The layout was actually represented in the rating. It has some pretty good moments and sometimes it can spin out of control. Also, I’m a fan of the theming on this ride. The fact that each mice has a name and its own personality with the sign out front and the speaker in the station. The audio on the ride is also a nice touch, though the lift hill music can get annoying if you’re stuck in line. There even is a cat at the top that further enhances the theme, but from behind it’s a bit weird for a family coaster (not as weird as the statue on Catwoman Whip). I do want to say this, it is quite short. As soon as the spinning gets going, it’s on the break run. It is compact, but could use a bit more track. Still a nice family coaster as it makes its way up my ranking.

This is a perfect modern family coaster for Cedar Point. The only negative thing I can say is that the lap bar is really bulky and kind of annoying but it’s not really a big deal.

I have long been a wild mouse hater, but I was hopeful that this modern rendition would get me to like the concept. That wasn't really the case, unfortunately. Though the spinning definitely eases up on the painful laterals which I despise, I found the ride to be almost as uncomfortable due to the lap bar. For whatever reason the placement of the restraint made it so that I was being braced by my stomach, rather than my lap. I'm not particularly short; I'm about 5' 9"; but it still felt like the restraint was not designed for someone of my height. It's not a bad ride, but due to that discomfort it's not one that I'm in any hurry to reride. 4/10 - I hope you like the sound of annoying bells dinging in your ear because you're gonna get a lot of that while waiting

It's the modern take on the spinning Wild Mouse. There's no more of the regular wild mouse section, which is an improvement. With this, there's element that are banked, which makes it a little worse considering the unbanked turns during the spinning part made it spin concerningly quickly. There's also 2 "horseshoe" elements like the Maurer spinners. I prefer the element on Maurer spinners, but it's still a fun part of the ride. The theming is a bit comical. There's onboard audio on the lift hill, except I had to listen to it for the entirety of the wait, but I'll get to that later. Each wild mouse car has its own name. It shows each one at the entrance sign. Then there's the cheese. I don't know why they made it spin the most, but I hope to get on it because I want to ride it in its best state. There's a couple negatives for this version of the Wild Mouse. First, the layout is nowhere near as long as the old spinning wild mice. It has slightly less track length, and unlike the old kind it actually has decent pacing. This is the first time zamperla made something like this besides the one in Abu Dhabi, so hopefully if there's more of these a longer layout can be possible. There is a similar negative between this and the old ones, and that is the capacity. It's still 4 people per car, so the line crawls. When the line is long, you're forced in the same area as that lift. It's dreadful. Anyways, I hope that they build more of these and try to add a longer layout.

Easily the best mouse I've ridden. It's very smooth. Nice layout with a mix of flat and banked curves. The spinning was mild, and I thought it worked really well. This is the first mouse where I wanted to get back on for a second go-around! (A long line deterred me.) The ride ops are efficient, and they keep the line moving as best they can with only four people to a car.

I absolutely hate wild mouse coasters but this is easily the best one I've ridden. It's not painful or jerky at all and really fun to ride! The theming is also very well done. This is probably the only wild mouse coaster I'll voluntarily ride over and over again. If only it were a little longer, it feels quite short.

This changed my mind about mouse track coasters. Wild mouse was so smooth and had some fun turns in a location where a boardwalk coaster should be. Due to the spinning car, the flat turns weren’t nearly as rough as normal mouse track coasters and this had more banking turns than flat. I know people like the flat turns but I am not a fan so this was nice. I’m sure in 10 years if I ride It again, I’ll drop it .5-1 star but for now this is a nice inclusion to CP’s roster.

I just got on this this past Thursday, and needless to say, it does the job of filling both the spinning and family gaps in Cedar Point’s lineup pretty well! My mother and I rode it with two other people, and I was pleasantly surprised by how forceful it was and how fast we were spinning. I also loved the theming as it had each mouse’s portrait, each car based off of the mice, and even some sound effects playing throughout parts of the ride. The color scheme of the ride and the general area is quite sappy, but also really fun and nostalgic and only makes it more inviting to potential riders. If I were to be honest, my only real gripe with the all new Wild Mouse is that I feel that it’s a bit short and could be a bit longer, but I can excuse this with the fact that it’s meant for small children who feel that one minute spent spinning and banking on a track is enough time spent and would desire to quickly hop from one thing to another. Overall, Wild Mouse pleasantly surprised me even if I was excited about its announcement beforehand! It may seem a bit disappointing to some that Cedar Point came back 5 years after making Steel Vengeance only to make a variation of something you’d find at a county fair, but I feel that it is the hidden gem which was exactly needed for the park and a surprise to show how they could make something so mundane into an experience like no other. Number Score: 7/10 Letter Grade: B Pros: Great theming, surprisingly forceful and intense, fun for the whole family, Cons: Just a tad short.
