A fun ride through the dark! Riding it during the nighttime is better because it really is pitch black so you have no idea where youre going, it's a tad rough but it's bearable and doesn't take away the fun, the back is better too, you feel faster and the forces more, this thing pulls some airtime and forces on the turns surprisingly

Airtimes Theming Fun Rattle

Space mountain is not a family coaster. It has some wild laterals, good airtime, jerky stuff, and great theming. You should ride this ride at least 2 times and also the lift hill is smooth. It could be a little bit smoother, but I would say that’s a pretty good ride and I will go back there soon.

Fun Ejectors Rattle Dead spots

This ride has a bit of rattle to it sometimes. And sometimes all of the projections of the stars and galaxy just don’t work and this ride is just boxed in utter darkness. Also there were some dead spots due to the trims. I do like the sudden drops though, especially in the dark. They give a decent amount of airtime

Theming Fun

This ride is super fun. I love how it’s one person to a car and the whole ride is in the dark with some space theming throughout. I’ve rode this during the Halloween party when they turn off all the lights and play creepy music and it was fantastic and even more thrilling than usual. A classic coaster at Disney that will never get old.

This is a relaxing indoor coaster that doesn't really have any surprises in store. The space theming is good, and there really isn't much else to say about this one.

My first roller coaster. It blew my mind as a 12 year old.

Fun Intensity Duration Capacity

As I said in my Omega review I preferred my ride on that more than this. It was more turn and less drop. But I was also in the front. On the plus side there a was an extremely confusing moment when the coaster was coming out of a drop and I thought we were going one way and we went the other way. Alpha #3, Omega #1

Theming Duration

This ride is, as most Disney rides are, incredibly themed. The iconic dome is visible throughout the park, and the ride inside does not disappoint. It's a long ride, and feels a lot faster than it really is because of the darkness. My only complaint is during one section, a downward helix, the onboard audio gets really loud and left my ears ringing for a few minutes.

Theming Fun Intensity

This ride is sooo fun. It was crazy walking through the que with all the advanced galaxy theming for the time. But the ride in general is very fun as it contains intense helix's many head cutter moments and fun drops. This ride also feels way quicker than it is due to the dark setting its in. Overall top 5 coaster in the resort and a must do with the family when you visit Disney's Magic Kingdom.

Theming Nice surprise! Ejectors Dead spots

Space Mountain is a great family coaster, it has great theming and some ejector airtime in the back row. It´s either number 1 or 2 at the park ( at least until tron opens) there are some dead spots due to the multitude of block brakes but the brakes are there to improve capacity, so it´s not that bad.

This ride is just a super fun coaster. It has the Disney Nostalgia everyone loves and is just an awesome coaster in general. The theming is fantastic throughout the queue and on ride as well. The layout isn’t too much and it’s not that intense but with the old Arrow trains you can get some good airtime. The rides capacity is amazing considering the trains only seat 6 people. There are a lot of MCBRs throughout but they don’t effect the ride that much and it stay consistently paced throughout. Awesome indoor coaster and a true classic.

I rode this when I was gp and it was my #1 at the time. In the mid - low 20s now. Barely better than Omega.

Theming Comfort Ejectors

Space Mountain is a very special ride to me, and I also think it's an exceptional roller coaster, seemingly by accident. Four of the three drops have sharp, Magnum-esque ejector airtime, and the largest drop has great floater air. There are also two sharp ejectors into midcourse brakes, which don't brake much at all. The ride feels very fast, with twinkling stars and supports whizzing by, Starry-O-Phonic sound effects making it feel faster, the projections on the dome, the awesome soundtrack, and the blasting A/C really create an awesome atmosphere for this coaster. The ride is also very nostalgic to me, and the queue's soundtrack takes my coaster loving heart on a journey. I also love the minimalist lap bars that you can leave a lot of room with, and the single row seating arrangement. I love everything about it and it's one of my favorite coasters in Florida.

Theming Discomfort

Orlando's Space Mountain is the star of the Magic Kingdom park. The coaster itself is mediocre, but the theming is impressively done. There are times where the theming is unconvincing, particularly on the final brake run. The trains are not comfortable. However, the darkness makes the ride feel extraordinarily fast, and it's a great ride as a whole.

This ride is undeniably a classic but it lacks the ride experience matching its status as an all time great theme park attraction
