Since I'm familiar with Florida's version of this ride, this ride is pretty lame in comparison. However, it's still a fun small coaster in the dark with some good effects. That ending sucks so bad tho...

That ending sucks so bad though, why is it so abrupt??? They could have easily fit a better ending in that room. Update: Having been on this ride a bunch of times since becoming a pass holder at USH, I definitely am liking it more. I also have a direct comparison to it since I just got back from Florida. It's a fun ride, way lamer than Florida, but still with some pretty fun parts. Bumping it from 6/10 to 7/10.

Coaster très surprenant. Bon launch, pas de vibrations, tres confortable, des floating airtime qui sortent de nulle part. Théma qui vieillit mais qui fait encore très bien le travail. Bonne découverte...

The ride is too short, and the story of the ride doesn’t make too much sense. You lose good speed at the holding brakes (the part where the bugs on the wall appear) but at least you get to launch back...

This ride comes in an era where Universal really didn’t get the whole coaster thing, and it shows. The ride is very short, with minimal storytelling once it gets going. The ending comes about way too quickly, and it really throws the pacing off. You basically do the same layout twice, the second time backwards, which is kind of cool. Uncomfortable seats, some of the worst I’ve seen aside from Vekoma trains. I’ve heard the Orlando version is better, so I’ll have to make a trip out there to try it out someday. It’s a fun ride for a 15 minute wait or less.

It's been over a decade since I rode this so I don't remember much, but I know that flying through a dark room was pretty freaky but fun. Also, f*** those bugs during the transfer track. I absolutely hate that effect, and I always lift my legs when I know it is on a ride. I'll have to ride this again to give a better review.

Revenge of the Mummy is a very well done ride. The coaster part itself is a low-end launched coaster. It's perfectly smooth. It's not amazingly forceful in there, but it's all right. Revenge of the Mummy does feature an extremely abrupt stop, which is incredibly unpleasant, followed by a sensation against your feet that is similarly unpleasant. However, the launch is fantastic. The theming, particularly early on, is great. Revenge of the Mummy is all right.

Comme la version d'Orlando, c'est très fun et l'ambiance est assez pesante. La partie dark ride est super et les launchs sont surprenants. Étonnamment, il y a de vrais gros airtimes assez inattendus sur un coaster indoor. J'aime bien aussi que la partie en arrière soit plus développée dans cette version. C'est juste un peu dommage que la fin soit un peu abrupte alors qu'on s'attend à ce que ça continue.

While the ride itself is still very fun and thrilling, the overall experience is gravely diminished if you've ridden the version at Universal Orlando beforehand. The version in Orlando is significantly bigger and longer, and during my ride on Hollywood's version I was basically just waiting for my favorite part from Orlando's (the false ending room with the fire) which would never come as that entire section is simply not present on this version. The ride is still fun, and if you haven't gotten to ride Orlando's version I guess you can't really go wrong; but if you've already ridden the superior version, I'd recommend skipping this one unless you're just thirsty for credits or there's no line.
