Don't know why I used to like this ride a lot, but then I got a reride and did a full 180 on it. The loop both ways is really good and I like both drops, but wow the cobra roll is horrendous, it's rough and uncomfortable. I'm generally also not a fan of going backwards on any coaster. The theming is cool and I like the music but I'd like to see this ride replaced by something way better.

Les couleurs peuvent rendre aveugle (orange fluo et violet), néanmoins la musique sauve un peu ce coaster sans trop d’intérêt. File d’attente en extérieur, comme dans tout ce parc (hors Platform 13, priez pour qu’il ne pleuve pas).

As much as I didn't enjoy it on my last ride in April 2024, I loved my ride today, with the new soundtrack that adds to the experience. Still, thrill ride is played in the station as a tribute. This ride is intense, and the vests are comfortable. Stick your head to the seat if you really want to hear the soundtrack, it's really good IMO.

Seul point positif : la théma. La musique et le tunnel dans le lift sont cool et donnent un peu plus de sens à ce layout, autrement ça reste un vieux boomerang moisi qui te colle des baffes du tonnerr...

La musique et le tunnel dans le lift sont cool et donnent un peu plus de sens à ce layout, autrement ça reste un vieux boomerang moisi qui te colle des baffes du tonnerre en entrée et en sortie d'inversions surtout en entrée du cobra roll. En plus ça vibre et le harnais veste n'aura pas réussi à rendre l'ensemble moins désagréable.

Pas si mal ce petit Boomerang ! Les vestes rendent l'expérience moins désagréable que sur un Cobra à titre d'exemple. La musique et la thema rajoute une petite ambiance sympathique. Le parcours en lui même n'a rien d'incroyable, ça reste du bon vieux boomerang qui vibrote. Pour autant bien meilleur qu'un Condor issu du même parc !

Pure misery. Audio was broken, a ridiculous shuffle in a restraint that you can barely move around in, and the backwards part was absolutely dreadfully god awful. "Best boomerang in the world!!!" No. ...

No. Words could not describe how much I wanted to get off by the time we were going up the second spike in preparation for the backwards section. Never again

This was unexpectedly a good coaster. The best restraints help a lot, as this coaster doesn't track perfectly smooth. It's not rattly either. It just has one or two potholes. The forwards layout is intense but is nothing special, however the backwards run feels way more intense and it is great fun. It's a comfortable and intense underdog at Walibi Holland.

Probably one of if not the best Vekoma Boomerang. The vest restraints are nice and the theming and soundtrack are amazing, especially for Walibi. It's still quite shaky though and like most Boomerangs...

Comment rendre un boomerang agréable à rider ? Remplacer les harnais par des vestes et ajouter une soundtrack qui met dans l'ambiance. La théma est simple mais efficace sans être pourtant bien présente. Bon après c'est un boomerang : intense mais l'intérêt reste quand même moyen compte tenu de la longueur et du débit, et ça vibre un peu mais moins que certains. Bref Speed Of Sound c'est certainement l'un des meilleurs boomerangs classiques.

Of course, there's no headbanging due to the restraints being shoulder harnesses, but my neck did get thrown around in the cobra roll quite a bit. While cloned a lot, the layout is good for what it is as the forces are quite intense and the soundtrack is amazing for this ride and adds a whole lot. The tunnel on the first lift gives the ride a distinct flavor as well, especially in the end it feels pretty much endless and builds up some great anticipation with the onboard audio. Still, not a ride I need to get on when I'm at this park again, but that's not too bad given how good of a lineup Walibi Holland actually has.

A mon grand étonnement j'ai pas mal aimé cette attraction ! C'est le même layout des boomerang Vekoma vus et revus comme celui du Cobra (Walibi Belgium) mais contrairement à ce dernier, ça passe beaucoup mieux. En effet il y a deux différences principales : premièrement celui-ci est équipé de trains avec des nouveaux harnais (style Hyperespace Mountain) qui diminuent grandement la possibilité de coups, et deuxièmement la musique du ride colle parfaitement au parcours et rend le tout particulièrement plaisant. En négatif on ne peut que mentionner l'inévitable lenteur du débit lié au type de coaster.

Speed of sound est le meilleur boomerang qui existe à ce jour grâce au train MK1212 avec harnais souple qui évite les baffes. L'attraction dispose aussi d'une soundtrack techno bien rythmé qui donne l'ambiance dans l'attraction bien que donnant un peu mal à la tête. Après ça reste un boomerang donc c'est pas le coaster que tu enchaînera le plus sur le parc préférant Untamed, Goliath ou Lost Gravity

The coaster is super rattly, and the restrains are very uncomfortable. But I really enjoyed the backwards part. The loops felt a lot more intense going backwards.

Speed of Sound is the second worst coaster of Walibi Holland for me. For a long human like me, the ride is really bad. Your head is flying everywhere and your back will hurt. However, it is a nice attraction to experience once but I will not visit it every time I visit Walibi Holland.
