    My first ride on Diamondback in 7 years and my first ride in the front row has provided me with a new perspective, as now with the knowledge that I prefer front row on most coasters I can confidently say this is no longer my least favorite B&M hyper, and one of my favorites at Kings Island. Every hill gives great airtime, there are impressive moments of positive gs, and the setting and theme further elevate the experience. As always the ride is very comfy and accommodating. No complaints, but the second half's airtime is noticeably less intense.

    This remains deserving of the overall number 1 spot. I think the elements here are less distinct than on newer RMC hybrids (particularly Iron Gwazi), but it more than makes up for it given the incredibly long duration of the ride. I'm also a sucker for wooden coasters that go through their own structures, and Vengeance does this to perfection. It is still king of the hill for me and should be on every enthusiast's bucket list.

    Growing up as a kid I remember when Millennium Force and this ride would trade the Golden Ticket for best steel coaster. I would always indignantly say that Force was better being a Cedar Point kid (having never been to SFNE). Cut to 2023 when I finally get on this and man, I get it now. What a fantastic ride. Incredibly unique and diverse layout. Very forceful positives, really stellar airtime. Awesome location right by the river. Had I ridden this with T-bars I would happily put this over Millennium... but I did not ride with the T-Bars. The U-Bricks are as bad as everyone says, and cuts back on a fair bit of enjoyment I would get. I place it slightly behind Millennium for this reason alone, but the fact a ride with restraints this bad can still be this good is a testament to the design of the ride.

    The only reason I want this ride to remain is those corkscrews over the midway. They are iconic and beautiful, and I still love walking under them while trains go twisting overhead. The ride itself has no redeeming factors though, and is completely obsolete in Cedar Point's otherwise stellar lineup.

    I'm deep in the minority here and I want to love my home park hyper, but I just can't. Some of the airtime hills pull absolutely no force at all. It has a gnarly rattle that is particularly brutal in the turnaround. My least favorite part of the ride is, yes, the triangle hills at the end. Any enjoyment of the otherwise good airtime is negated by the pain and discomfort of the lapbars (and this is coming from a guy that would happily lap Skyrush with the old restraints). I try to see the good in it that everyone else does but that magical ride is just never there for me.

    Brilliant coaster, all the elements are the best of their type I have ridden. A drop better than DC rivals, a stall better than Zadra and the standout element, the outer bank downwards roll is the best element I have been on. Small complaints of a meh theming and it's short duration, but a ride this intense doesn't need length to make it world class.

    One that absolutely lives up to the hype! It is an airtime monster, and rivals Shambhala for the sheer amount of sustained airtime moments. Some of the elements are incredibly unique and fantastically realized. I know there are complaints about the theming, but I don’t think it needs strong theming. At least it’s not over a car park like Hyperion. Station and surrounding area is put together very well, and the score is brilliant (probably one of the best I’ve ever heard), blaring out around the queue. Photo points could be a little better (Shambhala springs to mind as a good example of a hyper that’s closer to non-riders) and the seats are a little uncomfortable after all the throwing around (Taron has more comfy seats and has a similar ragdoll effect), but these are minor gripes. At the end of the day, we finally have a lap bar ride at Thorpe Park! And it is awesome! Dethrones Stealth in the UK for me, but it absolutely deserves it!!!

    Every element is great up to the splashdown trims. It is a proper stall and the outer bank turn/dive is an incredible element. Great coaster, however is just slightly too short for the size of ride. Specific row comments: Row 4 - Noticeable Rattle, elements fine, no airtime after very, very heavy splashdown trims Row 10 (back row) - Ever so slight rattle, far more intense/stronger elements, trims feel less strong, airtime after trims. Very, very good.
