This is officially my first Vekoma SLC. I went into this expecting the worst roller coaster of all time that would just beat the shit out of me... and that's not what I experienced. I rode in the first row, and maybe I just got a weirdly better ride, but I actually had fun. There was some rattle and a little headbanging, but I've had much worse elsewhere. Maybe this was a fluke, but on my one and only ride, I didn't absolutely hate it. And apparently that's a glowing review given all the others!

For tall riders, you will want to be in the second row of each car. At 6'5", my knees got beat up by the steel bar that's in the front row of each car. Maybe that's why the max ride height on this is 76 inches...

Goliath is a great ride. Super comfortable seat/lap bar with excellent airtime. Not as memorable as Twisted Cyclone for me, but certainly better than everything else in the park by a wide margin. I wish I had gotten more rides on my visit. In the last row, the rattle is real, but didn't detract significantly from my overall enjoyment. The helix made me nearly black out.

This was a pretty cool relic from the coaster's past, given that it's almost 50 years old now. It IS wild how slow the lift hill is and how slowly you exit the hill. The highlight really is the double loops. They are intense. I enjoyed this ride, but aside from the loops, the rest didn't really do much for me. And wow, this thing is kinda rickety! The second drop after the loops sways like crazy after a train goes down it. They have guy wires on it to help stabilize it.

It's fine. The trim brakes at the top of the drop suck. The mid-course brake run is uncomfortable and sucks. There are some fun inversions and a little blip of nice hangtime, but I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for this one.

The juxtaposition of this coaster with the rest of the park is WILD. Walking around the nearly empty park with small flat rides everywhere, and then seeing this $12M steel monstrosity is something else. The coaster is absolutely fantastic. The stall, the big outward banked turn, and the double-up into the arcade roll are the standout moments for me. Another standout moment is when you're enjoying yourself and ArieForce One punches you in the stomach... aka, the brake run. As a tall guy, the quad down also got to be pretty uncomfortable after 10+ rides, but it is a great finale. Doesn't top Gwazi for me, but it's an amazing ride.

I would have guessed it's only half as high as it really is until I was riding it (when looking from the queue or the park). Some fun inversions and transitions. Lots of people complain about the rattle, but honestly I didn't notice it too much on my ride. Fairly smooth as well. The loop is pretty big and fun, but is probably one of the least intense elements. Great location with the quarry wall.

It was crazy distorted and blown out sounding, but that added to the fun and chaos of this short coaster. It's interesting how much music can change the ride experience. If you're in Vegas, you gotta give this a ride. It was pretty dead in the Adventuredome on a weekday when I was there, and I managed to get 9 rides in.

Quite intense. Love the canyon theming and how you fly through those canyon areas. With the Vegas heat, another interesting sensation is how warm/hot it gets at the top of the lift hill near the top of the glass ceiling. Then, as you drop, you drop into cool AC temps. It's a really fun and probably unintentional sensation that added to the ride. This coaster is NOT for tall people, though. I'm 6'5" and barely fit into the cars. My knees are smushed and bang around. The harness is terrible on the shoulders. Discomfort aside, this is a fun indoor coaster.

This is a really weird coaster. I did a front row ride and a back row ride. The front is wayyyyyy more enjoyable. In the back, you just brace yourself the whole time. I had a pretty fun time riding this in the front. I love the location around the hotel. It's pretty tall and has a couple of decent elements. It's a longer ride. But... the transitions felt like they were designed by a crazy person. You SLAM into your seat at the bottom of hills. It does weird, jiggly things coming out of some corners. The dive (that feels like a 90-degree angle) after the second inversion is just madness. People say the trains are an improvement over the old ones, but they are premier trains, and premier trains are terrible. So! Certainly some bad, but after my front row ride, I found myself happy to have ridden it despite all the bad/weird. I'd definitely ride the front again. I would NOT ride the back row again.

The blood will rush to your feet, and I greyed out a little and got dizzy on one or two of the elements. The back row is more intense and surprising. You don't get to see what's coming. You just experience it. The front row was really fun. Less intense. More like flying. Both are great experiences. I also did a night ride in the back row, but I think that would have been better in the front. In the back, the intensity + not seeing what's coming + flashing lights/shadows/rushing noises all make for a "what just happened to me?" experience, but not in the way I prefer. Great ride! And a pretty long one too. FEEL THE TERROR OF MONTU!

I like the look and setting of this coaster. The spaghetti track is really fun. The ride is also a very fun one overall. It's really whippy with all the zigs and zags. Pretty quick transitions. Unfortunately, the enjoyment is severely hampered by the harnesses. It might be because I'm tall (6'5"), but the hardness really hurt my shoulders and took away from the enjoyment.

A surprisingly intense family spinning coaster. Everyone getting off this ride seemed to really enjoy it. I also enjoyed it, but wished it was a little longer or did a few extra things. It's a pretty compact layout and spot, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Maybe I'm fatigued on Batman clones, but I enjoyed this quite a bit. It's no Montu, but I found it more interesting than the typical invert clone. The cobra roll is right at the entrance to the park and looks amazing. There are some great maneuvers throughout its layout.

I liked this more than Pony Express. I loved the theming and the location. It's such a fun little ride through a couple of areas of the park. I love that it's not isolated on a plot of land, but winds around the park areas. It's surprisingly long (in track length and duration) and more fun than I expected. It is rough with not-so-great restraints. It's also not a speed demon with ops, so the line got really long. But I liked it more than I thought I would overall.
