I really hope this coaster is saved. The fact that it's lasted for 108 years in 2 different locations only for it to be at a severe risk of getting scrapped now is devastating. My 2023 rides on it were disappointing, but it was awesome this year and it makes me really sad to see a coaster this historic now face another closure. Save Wild One.

As of my first rides on Boulder Dash, it is currently my second favorite wooden coaster. There are flaws, but it is still a great ride. Some of the issues reside before you even get on. First, the capacity could be good, but the lack of a second train makes it atrocious and the line can get pretty long. In line, there is a good chance the ride breaks down. It happened quite a few times during my visit, and the main reason is the lap bar getting stuck. Each time this happens, they have to call maintenance to eventually (after 10-20 minutes) release the restraint. Speaking of the restraints, they are the PTC lap bars, which I find under appreciated. I don’t know if it was just me, but these ones seemed to lower more than the usual PTC lap bars. First drop isn’t noteworthy, but the following elements provide amazing laterals that continues throughout the course. You get PINNED to your seat for quite a bit of time. After a few elements, the ride suddenly provides ejector at the apex of the hills. With the PTC lap bars, this airtime is elite and makes the ride world class. Some of these ejector moments also have those laterals, which causes a mix of two powerful forces and makes it really memorable. The turnaround itself doesn’t do nothing noteworthy, but the return run contains several hills of floater airtime. This whole ride is extremely long, which I value in a ride. It is element after element after element. That partially contributes to the capacity issue, but the ride itself gains a perk from it. The main takeaway from all of this is the roughness. The titan track given at the beginning and on one hill during the return run is smooth, but some parts can have a pretty nasty rattle. For the parts that don’t have too much with an issue, it feels like a charm. It makes it feel like a classic wooden coaster albeit with the incredible forces. The bad parts should be given titan track though. It’s uncomfortable and makes some parts of the ride worse. At least it’s better than the ending on Wildcat. Still, the layout is amazing and I enjoy the long, forceful experience despite the problems. || Night ride update: Oh my god, do this at night. At that point, the roughness just adds to the experience. It becomes an out of control experience going through the woods with hardly any light at all. It will give a headache, but it is a well deserved one. It also is even faster at night. There are now several more moments that give either stronger airtime than before or airtime that wasn't there to begin with. On a Saturday in September when people don't really think to do a halloween event, it is worth it. Stay as late as possible so you can ensure a night ride. Maybe just do one since it will give a headache, but honestly with how good the ride is, it doesn't matter. Boulder Dash is truly world class and the night ride made me appreciate the rattle even on a wheel seat. || 2025 night ride update: I get that this review is already comically long but I'm doubling down on going to this park during the halloween event. They have improved in 2 different thing since last time I posted on this: seat selection and capacity. First, they allow you to pick/request your row so you are able to avoid wheel seats. While the coaster is decently rough, it is much more enjoyable and you can also pick towards the front/back to get a more forceful experience. Along with that, the 2 train ops this coaster operates now means that the longest I waited was just 20 minutes. They were stacking every time and you had to wait on the brake run for a minute but it still drastically improved capacity. Now that those are covered I'll just say that the coaster is hauling this year. The return run is filled with airtime and the turnaround is providing some of the best laterals I've experienced. All of these improvements means that I now rate this coaster 5 stars and it would be even higher in my rankings but it doesn't run as fast during the day time. Overall this coaster is a masterpiece and I hope that they keep retracking the potholes while keeping some of the layout wooden because it still needs that wooden feel to it.

After waiting for over a year I was finally able to ride Top Thrill 2 and it was definitely worth the wait. In 2024, I went to Cedar Point and of course it was closed for the entire year. The whole area looked really nice but the ride itself was just a big lawn ornament. The reason I'm not putting reliability as a con is because in 2025 it was generally reliable for my entire visit. Despite it being generally reliable, when I initially went to get on the ride during a brief visit earlier in the trip, it said that the free lockers were sold out. That was frustrating but it was just one time and that was on a Saturday. Since the main part of the trip never had the lockers be sold out, I was able to get multiple rides on it so it's good that the actual Cedar Point portion was when I was able to ride it without it being an upcharge. Another problem relating to the loose article policy I have is the fact that the queue line is atrocious. You either have to stand in a metal box for an hour with a mediocre view of the ride or stand in the sun for fast lane. You can't have anything on you so it really isn't a fun time in that line, but thankfully the ride itself is worth standing in there. After actually getting on the ride, you have a brief wait until getting to the first launch. This launch is overhated in the sense that it isn't a terrible launch. It's definitely a huge downgrade compared to a hydraulic launch but it's still solid. The first ascent up the top hat is fun even though it doesn't really do anything. I don't like how it's called a rollback though because it just feels like spike. After this part is when the ride goes from good to elite. The fact that you're a good way up the spike means that you pick up some good speed before going into the backward launch. Speaking of the launch, it's amazing. Speeding up to 100 mph while going backwards is exactly how it sounds, and being that fast for a long portion of time is such a crazy feeling. After you go through that fantastic launch you go up a 420 foot spike. You don't go nearly that height, but you're still well over 300 feet in the air so the view is still stunning. I wouldn't say you get airtime on it, but it's more just experiencing no gravity so you feel like you're floating during the spike in a way. Just like the going down the tophat for the first time, you pick up a lot of speed going down the spike even before making it to the launch. This makes it so that you're launching while starting out at 100 mph. This feeling of launching even faster makes this launch possibly as good if not better than the backwards launch. To finish out the ride, you go through the original element that stayed from Top Thrill Dragster, the tophat. This starts with some decent positives, then goes into some insane laterals. Pretty much the moment the laterals end you then get launched out of your seat then stay out of your seat for what feels like forever. While you're out of your seat, you get an incredible view which is even crazier when you realize that you're looking DOWN at Millennium Force. Still out of your seat, you get even more airtime going down into even more sustained laterals that are just as strong as the laterals going up the tophat. Finally, after the laterals, you finally get brought back to the seat and experience even more of this ride's speed. Pretty much the ride goes so fast that for most of the brake run you're still having an incredible sense of speed. Now I'll just say that I never got to ride the original Top Thrill Dragster. However, since I have ridden Kingda Ka and I prefer TT2 by a wide margin, I can assume that TT2 is a huge upgrade from TTD. Of course it is missing that incredible hydraulic launch, however it makes up for it by having 3 launches, 2 of them being incredible, and also you get an additional 420 foot tall spike to add on to it. Although TT2 was initially a massive disappointment because of the fact that it was down for its entire opening year, I can now say that Cedar Point did an incredible job with TT2 and I personally find it to be top 3 in the park now.

My review of this from 2 years was about how the ride had potential, but it was just too rough to reach the potential. Well, after last year, most of the potential has been reached and it now serves as a great wooden coaster. The roughest parts have to be the hills in the first half and the first drop. These are quite rough, although they are tolerable (Remember, this is the ROUGHEST part of the ride). The turnaround is the first moment of titan track. Nothing noteworthy, but still smooth and fun. The turn following the next hill is the second part of titan track. With it being the oldest part, it so far has aged like fine wine. It’s steel, but it feels kind of like a smooth wooden coaster. I’m a big fan of woodies and I love seeing them preserved, and this titan track aging is honestly great enough for me not to complain. The next 2 hills were the worse part of the ride last year, even causing jackhammering. This year with the titan track, they didn’t do it. They produced the best airtime on the ride with some pretty good floater. My least favorite part turned into my favorite part of the ride. The rest of the ride isn’t too noteworthy. Airtime, but pretty rough, although once again it’s tolerable. Maybe the rough parts are less to complain about because of the trains. The PTC restraints are great for airtime and this ride probably has the best headrest of any coaster I’ve been on. It’s a goddamn pillow. The pillow is able to absorb a lot of the pain. While I do have to slouch for my head to be on the pillow and I’m only 5’6”, it is still possible and it vastly helps with the ride experience and generally just the comfort. My former issue with the seat belt digging in was resolved as I was more careful making sure it wasn’t twisted. Anyways, this is a great, underrated wooden coaster that is improved heavily thanks to the new retracting. 2025 UPDATE: The ride has gotten even better every year. This year there were several parts of the ride that has airtime + laterals simultaneously, leading to it now being what I consider #2 in the park and being rated a 4.5 star ride now.

While it is still a great ride, this is my least favorite B&M Hyper of the 4 I've done. The first drop is pretty fun and unique for any coaster. The loop itself is fun. The immelmann isn't anything special. Zero-g roll and corkscrew are, as always, fun moments. There were multiple other moments that went over water that were nice, but they didn't do anything. I was hoping for something more but I didn't get it. Still, the inversions are great like any invert and the ride is still worthy of 4 stars. UPDATE: I forgot to update this even though it's been a year since I rode it but it isn't the worst invert I've done. I got a better experience in August 2024 with a more forceful zero-g roll and corkscrew and it caused it to go up in my rankings to a 4.5 star rating.

In my opinion Orion is underrated and easily the best coaster in the park. I don't really understand why a lot of people seem to put this lower in the park ranking but for me this is without a doubt #1 at Kings Island. Of course since it's a giga the first drop is amazing, but this one feels like Candymonium's drop in the sense that you get flung over it. After the drop is a wave turn that, despite not giving any airtime, still is really fun in the sense that it is banked 90 degrees. After the wave turn is a turnaround that goes into a speed hill offering great airtime and then another hill that continues to give airtime. The helix following the 2 hills was really surprising because it actually had great positives throughout the entire helix. There's another turn after the helix that's also surprising because it has a surprising pop of airtime afterwards. One of the main things that people argue about Orion is the duration, but I didn't have an issue with it at all and found it to be a longer ride than Leviathan. Overall Orion is a great and underrated coaster that I'm glad Kings Island got, even if Fury's still better.

I never got to experience Volcano, but I'm assuming that this is a huge downgrade from it. I'm just simply not a fan of this ride aside from the launch. The launch is actually good and easily the best part of the ride. After it is an overbank which is fun but doesn't do anything. After the overbank is a dive loop that really shows that the ride has a rattle. It's there throughout the whole ride but the worst part is the dive loop. Following it the ride is left with more forceless elements including a hill with no airtime. I didn't have too high of expectations to this but I was still disappointed and it makes it even worse how the former coaster on this plot of land looked incredible.

Honestly was expecting this to do absolutely nothing because it looks like the smallest coaster ever but this ride has laterals for some reason? Still doesn’t feel like a coaster though because it barely even counts.

Comet unfortunately is different from the Woodstock Express clones in the sense that this really feels like a kiddie coasters. The ride op made it a lot more fun and it was good that it was on 2 train ops but the ride itself is really just a kiddie coaster that doesn’t really provide any forces.

Ravine Flyer II pretty much is the reason why a lot of people go to Waldameer. The park was fun and really enjoyable but the main incentive to go is still this coaster. It was especially so for me because Steel Dragon 2000 was closed. Fortunately, this ride hardly had a wait so we were able to ride it multiple times. The ride’s seatbelts can definitely be tightened a lot so if you like that then it’s good, but I found that just tightening not too much still gets the job done but also allows you to enjoy this ride’s airtime thanks to the PTC lap bars. Once you’re on the ride, enjoy the view of Lake Erie. It’s a beautiful view and a great aspect to the ride. First drop is great in the back, but I prefer going towards the front because the rest of the layout is more forceful there. You then go into a turn with strong laterals over the first airtime hill on the bridge. This hill provides good floater, but the second hill on the bridge provided more sustained and more forceful floater. Before this second hill though, you go through a few turns that have insanely good laterals. These turns are probably my favorite part of the ride. The hill before the second time over the bridge is forceless, so that element is just filler. The rest of the layout is more floater hills and turns providing more laterals. There is one noticeable turn and that is the 90 degree banked turn. This doesn’t have laterals, but the sensation of just being sideways masked it a really fun element. Overall, the ride is filled with airtime and laterals and provides a long ride experience. There is one major flaw though and that is the rattle. This is a rough ride, more than just the enjoyable wooden coaster roughness. Every time I went on it, I heard people that were complaining that it was painful on the brake run. It was a bit surprising because I hadn’t really heard about it being rough, but it was. It was enough to make it so that I only rode it 3 times the day I went. Hopefully the park gets Gravity Group’s precut track to fix the rough portions because that would keep the wooden coaster feel to this incredible ride. Even with the rough ride, this is an amazing ride and makes visiting Waldameer worth it.

First I’m going to mention the most useless thing about the ride that I just love so much. This ride probably has the most comfortable headrest I’ve done. It felt like a pillow. If only the ride didn’t have over the shoulder restraints making it so I have to keep my head forward. After the first drop there’s randomly straight track into the 2 loops. Loops are fine but they are a bit rough. Then you turn into the corkscrews, which since it’s arrow, are rough. Then there’s a janky helix and the ride ends. Ride it once for the headrest because I love it but after that, just head to the flat ride right next to it because Riptide has incredible hangtime.

Well here’s the coaster that I was fully expecting to be the worst coaster I’ve ridden. Maybe it’s between the fact that I was riding as defensively as possible and also the fact that I’m used to riding a terrible coaster (Steamin Demon) at my home park, but the ride isn’t completely atrocious. The restraints are weird. They have this padding that is comfortable for you in the station, but if the ride didn’t have it be that squishy then I don’t think anybody would willingly ride it. I did the thing where I rode with my head as forward as possible to the point where I didn’t have the the padding near my head so I don’t know how much it helps with the headbanging. As soon as the first drop hits the ride is comically rough. It’s this rough for the whole time, but it’s especially bad at the rollover and the inline twists. This is why the ride is still bad even though it’s not as terrible as people say. When I mean it’s rough the entire ride, I mean that when I put my head back as soon as the breaks hit, I had headbanging turning into the station. Even though the ride tracks horribly, I’ve been on much worse coasters. This one I didn’t even have a headache after and I’m super prone to headaches. The ride I’ve heard is rougher in the back and I intentionally went for row 2 so it could be worse there, but right now the ride is somehow underrated even though it still is bad.

This is a worse version of Backlot Stunt Coaster at Kings Dominion. It’s still a great family coaster but it’s noticeably worse. The launch is the same and the helix is forceful. However, the one at Kings Dominion had an even more forceful helix. Still not enough for it to be noticeably worse. The rest of the ride is filled with laterals and noticeable positives but what the ride really lacks is the theming. Instead of stopping halfway through to show some theming, you just instantly go into the tunnel without stopping. Also, the second half of the ride is slower and the drop out of the tunnel isn’t sudden at all. Overall, while the ride is still great, it is a downgrade from the Kings Dominion Backlot Stunt Coaster.

Probably the worst boomerang but still not a bad ride. The ride is rough so obviously you’re going to feel the roughness but the arrow trains didn’t seem to affect the ride experience for me. They’re really similar to the vekoma trains and these ones have padding that doesn’t seem to help during the ride (Vortex and Dragon Fyre have the same thing). Cobra roll going backwards seemingly had laterals so I guess that’s a benefit. I guess the ride’s roughness and the fact that the loop wasn’t as forceful as other boomerangs makes it so it’s the worst one.

Wild mouse. It exists. First drop is fun and you can easily brace for the turns to enjoy the laterals. Other than that it’s just another wild mouse. Line moves faster than some others because there isn’t fast land but really it’s just the same as Apple Zapple.

SPOILERS SO IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET SPOILED THEN DONT READ THIS. Guardian is a fun dark ride that barely is considered a coaster because of a small portion of the ride. This is at the start of the ride and you get to it by climbing a lift hill. Somehow I have only done this part backwards after going on it 3 times. The actual coaster part is a couple turns and a drop, fun but not really intense. The actual shooting part is just screens and is the usual shooting dark ride. The ending is the best part of the ride though. Once again this is major spoilers so if you don’t want to see it then don’t read this review. The drop track is much more surprising the first time you do it but each time it feels sort of like a drop tower. Even when you know it’s there it’s still fun and since there’s usually someone doing it for the first time you can hear their surprised reaction to it. Overall, it’s a fun ride and especially more useful when it is raining, since there is only the first coaster part that’s outdoors and even the queue line is indoors.

Even though this isn’t a rare model, it’s still one of the weirdest coasters I’ve done. Essentially the whole ride is just you turning without any drops. It has pretty good laterals but still it’s a weird experience that feels sort of like a flat ride rather than a coaster.

First, the station music is great. Doesn’t affect the actual ride and the ride op was talking half of the time but still enough to acknowledge it. The lap bar is super comfy, and unlike the kiddie coaster nearby there are no seatbelts. I don’t mind seatbelts but it’s kind of funny that they would put them on the kiddie coaster and not the 80 mph coaster. Pointing this out that I got a night ride, so clearly there’s a beautiful setting, I could only put 3 things in the pros. The actual ride has some decent intensity, especially on the helix, but there is one big problem. Now here’s where I update it for 2025. In 2023, I wasn’t even leaving my seat at any point. In both 2024 and 2025, I was actually getting pretty solid floater on every hill. The final hills were pretty weak in 2025, although last year they were actually good. The turnaround still doesn’t really do anything, but generally the whole ride is just fun.

Flash was the first of the new Vekomas that I’ve done and it is a great addition to Great Adventure albeit with it being a capacity nightmare. The operations were doing good, however I had to use a flash pass just to get on the ride. My parents waited in the regular line and they waited 130 minutes so the one train ops really are a problem. The actual ride starts with a decent launch up just to build momentum. The climb up is fun but not intense, although it’s worth noting that I rode towards the back. The ride then goes into a good backwards launch into a spike. This spike is great, not necessarily from forces but just because of how fun it is. Then you launch into the Immelmann. This inversion has so much hangtime, especially when backwards. This is probably the best element of the ride. You then go into a double up with a decent ejector. The drop down from this going forwards doesn’t do much. The next zero g roll has good whip into the second spike. Then you have the zero g roll going backwards, which adds the disorientation of the fact that you can’t see what’s going on. This is extra prominent on the transition into the double down. It’s so much better going backwards the way you just twist up there. The double down backwards is the same as the double up forwards. Then the Immelmann manages to have even more hangtime going backwards. It’s genuinely crazy and such a great element, one of the best moments of hangtime on any coaster. Then you go back up the spike, but not really enough for it to feel too insane. The ride did get stuck while I was there, but they quickly got the ride back up, so I’m not going to put reliability as a con. Overall, Flash is a great addition to the park and easily in the top 5 at Great Adventure. If you’re able to get on it without it being an abysmal wait like it usually is, definitely get on it.

The only reason steamin demon still exists is because it’s at great escape. With the removal of Alpine Bobsled and the addition of lights on the lift hill, it going to take quite a long time before this has a chance of being removed. It’s unfortunate that the ride experience is poor, as it has a striking resemblance when entering the park. It’s also unfortunate because the line is rarely ever long, even with one train ops. Maybe people here acknowledge that the ride is not good. The queue line and lift hill show nice views of the ride, then it’s into the drop. This begins the nasty rattle prominent throughout the course. The loop is surprisingly forceful, similar to Vekoma boomerangs. The turnaround isnt anything notable, but afterwards are the corkscrews. Dear god these things are rough. Even using the headbanging method, there was pretty bad headbanging. In the middle of the corkscrews and at the very end are the worst parts. Final turn and break run are filler, but this ride in general is very short. It manages to be that rough in the little amount of time. I also want to point out the restraint. It digs into your stomach and hurts possibly worse than the headbanging. Anyways, there’s no redeeming factor in this ride, hopefully this closes and gets replaced by a better ride sooner than anything else at Great Escape.

Slightly worse than Six Flags New England’s boomerang because the cobra roll is rougher. However, the loop isn’t so bad and the ride feels just as intense, especially the backwards loop. Another con is the seat is just as uncomfortable as Great Escape’s, maybe slightly more comfortable. Other than that, it’s essentially the same as the boomerang at Six Flags New England.

Definitely a downgrade compared to Flashback at New England, which is kind of surprising. This one’s newer and wasn’t relocated twice, yet it’s just worse. I didn’t notice this with flashback at New England, but the seat wasn’t comfortable. It was weirdly shaped and hurt. The ride itself was quite rougher as well, especially the cobra roll. It still isn’t too bad because of the intensity with the backwards elements, but it was rough and gave me a bigger headache.

I genuinely had no expectations for this. I thought it would be a headbanging mess. First ride, I was desperately preparing for headbanging that… never appeared. There wasn’t headbanging. I even found it decently forceful! The second ride was rougher, enough to give me a mild headache. I still found it to be an underrated gem that doesn’t deserve a 6.3%.

My first ride in July wasn’t that good. It was pretty rough, and it earned only 2.5 stars. I decided to give it a second chance, and it only got worse. I knew old vekoma’s profiling was bad but not THAT bad. It was jackhammering me so much throughout the entire layout. I do want to point out 2 of the worst moments of roughness. First, the sidewinder. You can see the roughness from off ride. Not only do you have the lateral roughness, but now there’s aggressive shaking back and forth. Then, there’s the inline twists. These 2 are so rough that any form of enjoyment is quickly sealed. There are sudden jolts from side to side that are so abrupt, impactful, and painful. It has vest restraints, which are probably the only thing making this 1.5 stars instead of 0.5. The vest restraints are a step in the right direction, but it still is bad and I’m still concerned about riding SLCs with the old restraints. (Update all of this applies just it's not as bad so now it's back to a 2.5. If you want the specific rows, the 1.5 star ride was row 3 and the 2.5 star ride was the back row)

I had a review on this were I criticized the ride for having a pretty bad rattle and terrible lap bars that prevent any airtime. However, yesterday I was able to get better rides and my thoughts on it have changed. Yeah, the restraints are still bad. However, it must've been the amount of stuff in my pockets or something that caused me to actually get room. It's still not comparable to T-bars, but it is enough for me to experience airtime. Also, there wasn't a rattle. My April ride this year with those 2 issues was the very back row. In my opinion, that row is only better for the drop. Everything else improved in my rides in the third to last row. You wait less for a better experience, I definitely recommend it. Now for the ride itself. Like I said, the drop is definitely better in the back row. However, it is still great. Not necessarily getting yanked down it, but it's still an awesome drop. The next hill gives pretty good floater. Any moment of airtime starting with this one wasn't experienced on my first rides. The next turnaround is fairly intense and the following turn further adds to it. You also go through some thematic elements that are decent near misses. The next hill once again gives good floater. The hill after gives slightly stronger airtime, but it is still floater. The second half begins with some S-hills. Surprisingly, these also gave floater. The valleys are turns that have several seconds of pretty good positives. The 3rd S hill gives more floater and is great for photos with it diving into a tunnel, the second of the ride after the one at the bottom of the first drop. After the turn, there's a few airtime hills. The first one that you turn into is good because you go from the turning that you've been doing immediately to floater that was in the first half. The other 2 hills continue to provide this floater. One final turn leads into the brake run. Without bracing, you will have your stomach go into the lap bar, but it isn't painful. Would Superman be much better with T-bars. Yes, definitely. Is it still a great ride? Yes! SFNE's top 2 is amazing and I'm glad I can further enjoy this ride. I still prefer the Ride of Steel clones because of the T-bars leading to ejector, but Superman is still one of the best (traditional) hyper coasters I've been on.

It was a packed day and a hot day, but I really enjoyed my ride on it despite people thinking otherwise. The restraint is mainly why. It’s comically high for a hyper coaster. You’ll see why that’s good. First drop is quite unique. It has a noticeable kick at the start but afterward gradually steepens. It’s weird but it works. First half wasn’t really notable, I’m writing this review 2 months after riding it though. Helix wasn’t really that intense, just the dehydration and heat caused me to gray out. Second half is where it really shines. It’s not strong airtime at all, but it’s sustained enough to go up 2-3 inches off of the seat. Then, the positives slam you down. This combination works so well and it what shapes this coaster. The cycle repeats a few times before the ride ends. Overall, this is an underrated ride that’s easily the standout of the park. Better than the 2 B&M hypers I’ve done and way better than magnum.

This is fun. Definitely better than a pirate ship, those make me nauseous and this want able to. Decent launches, I like how they add some suspense for the first one. Backwards launches are also good. Not really much acceleration, but any acceleration on a backwards launch is good. The forward spike is mediocre. Yeah, there’s the twist. No, it doesn’t make it better. I preferred the backwards spike. The way you’re straight down for a few seconds is a fun experience. There’s no holding brake but honestly it didn’t really matter, it was still a fun ride. Really my problem is with the duration. It’s short and doesn’t really do enough to make it great. Other than that, it’s a good ride that I’m glad wasn’t removed.

Just a heads up, I rode this in July and apparently it’s gotten rougher since then. Okay, now for the actual review. The queue line is pretty miserable, just like the other dive coaster I’ve been on being Valravn. There’s absolutely no shade. It seems like it’s being constructed, but it was just a wooden structure when I was there. It was only a 25 minute wait, but it still wasn’t enjoyable. The heat index was 97. Coming from a place that doesn’t often get those temperatures, it was hell. Yay, I love getting incinerated in a line. Besides the shade, there was some pretty good theming. It actually had a story line, although not really shown during the ride itself. There was a television with what seemed like a fake YouTube channel. Don’t know if they actually made it or if it’s fake. I’m assuming it’s just edited to make it look real. Once you’re in the station, you get assigned a row. I got row 2. While it seems bad, I really didn’t care. While hanging, there’s supposed to be a thematic piece at the bottom of the drop. I didn’t see it, oh well. First drop if you’re wanting solely forces is disappointing. No airtime at all. However, it was real fun! You just gradually kept getting steeper and steeper. The extra 5 degrees in steepness really made a difference. The inversions already on the previous dives do the same thing, nothing special. I honestly enjoyed the inclined dive loop. It’s sustained positives throughout the entire thing. I hope they add it to more coasters in the future, it was weird that before this it was exclusively on standups. This ride unfortunately is really short, a problem that plagued this ride model. It doesn’t have the midcourse drop. Some people would say this is an improvement because of the increased pacing. I disagree, the second drop is a top 2-3 element on Valravn. It adds capacity and improves the ride, the reduced pacing is only a minor drawback. Time to address the main complaint people have, the roughness. Whoever is complaining that it’s worsening the ride is weak as hell. Yes, there is a rattle. Yes, there is a jolt at the end. No, none of it affects the ride. It’s hardly any shakiness. It’s not glass smooth, who cares? It’s still fine. Oh and for that jolt, it’s so slight that you hardly notice it. If anything it adds character to that boring turn. Just a bit of side to side. It’s a bit concerning, but it’s just a funny part of the ride. So yeah, great addition to the park. Really enjoyed it, although it wasn’t fun getting scorched for that long just for a ride that short.

Such a great ride for this park, truly completes the lineup and is definitely the standalone attraction in that area of the park, although Fahrenheit is still amazing. Immediately, the prelift is filled with small moments of airtime. This is such a great way to begin the ride. Immediately, you're in the action. I really enjoyed Steel Vengeance's prelift and this is much better. The lift hill is somewhat weird. It waits for the third train to enter the unload platform, and it does this by going slow initially then speeding up. It does get to a good speed though. First drop is great. Of course it is, no surprise here. Ejector, like usual. It goes into a zero g winder. This is fun. Not really any force, but fun. Then, it goes into the first of its sustained ejector hills. These are great. Definitely not too much, but they provide great airtime. Then, you go into a turnaround that took me by surprise. Somehow, the turn managed to give ejector. I was expecting airtime, but not ejector. Great way of using a turnaround. Then, the stall. This is comparable to the Jersey Devil stall, which I love. For this one though, you have full upper body freedom, making me slightly prefer it. Another one of those turns with surprisingly good airtime. Still, surprising that they manage to smoothly pull that off. Then, a double down. While slightly turning, it provides 2 incredibly strong moments of sustained ejector airtime. It might be my favorite part of the ride. Then some zero g rolls. These are average for RMC, fun filler moments. There's a few more pops of ejector, finishing the ride with a bang. This ride is filled with ejector after ejector. It's such a great ride and considering how I don't like either of the 2 early GCIs I rode, it's most definitely a much, MUCH better ride than its predecessor. By the way, line moves somewhat quickly. Free lockers without metal detectors and 3 trains in the same way that Millennium Force does it. No midcourse, but an unload platform.
