Far and away, the best wing coaster I've ridden (having done 5 or 6). Loved Rapterra which my daughter and I went on for the first time two weeks prior, but Thunderbird is in a league of its own as far as winged coasters are concerned. Super smooth, the launch is killer, and the near-misses and inversions in the back half of the ride are fantastic. It could use a little bit more length, but it's not as short as I was led to believe. I think this ride is under-rated...was pleasantly surprised at how good this was.

I think Voyage might be the best wooden coaster I've ever ridden. The front row experience (which I did twice) certainly provided the best rides I've ever had on a wooden coaster and the back row was nearly as good (albeit for different reasons/elements.) No matter where you sit, the first drop and subsequent airtime hill 1-2 follow-up are spectacular elements. The ride after these elements gets pretty wild and can be really rough depending on where you are sitting. Oddly enough, I found that middles seats were the least comfortable/enjoyable by a notable margin (not the back). But even on these rides I felt like I was experiencing a world class coaster.

I've never experienced lateral intensity like I did on Legend. It's almost too much to take at certain points. In general, this is a wickedly intense wooden coaster. The first drop and subsequent airtime hill were great and my personal favorite elements, but they pale compared to the laterals experienced during the remainder of the ride. I rode Twister earlier this summer, an experience defined by its laterals - but Legend is in another league entirely.

Raven is rough, but manageable as the length of the ride is just right for the intensity/roughness it produces. You still get a sense of how great this ride was comparatively when it first came out. It has a great location and seems to rise in stature above it's somewhat modest dimensions and scale. The bank turn over the lake/pond was a particular highlight. The layout in general is really solid...and with a bit of re-tracking, continuous upkeep, it should continue to be a big part of the Holiday World arsenal of top rate wooden coasters. Ride operations were also top notch (as was the case throughout the day at Holiday World.)

Really like this RMC. It’s mid among the RMC portfolio, but I like what it does with a rather condensed layout and small dimensions. It doesn’t try to be more than it is by cramming too much into the layout (as some RMC’s do)….and that really works for me. Solid 4 stars - lots of fun.

There are a couple rough transitions, but highly re-rideable nonetheless. Lines moved fast even with single train operations. Could be the best ride in the park.

The last turn hurt, but the rest of this ride was really strong. Rumor is that Gravity Group retracking has really helped…I thought the layout, intensity and airtime were fantastic and I’m not typically a wooden coaster fan. Surprised this ride doesn’t get more love…it’s not elite, but it’s solid.

My favorite B&M Floorless...fantastic ride start to finish...very cool, low profile with aggressive elements that pack more of a punch than bigger versions of the same format. Caught off guard by the intensity...serves as a fantastic welcome to the park as well.

We lost the race, but it was a lot more fun being able to race (which was not an option on the left side two years ago). I enjoyed the out and back layout more than I probably should have. There was more airtime than I remembered/expected, seeing Pantherian operating in the distance at the turnaround was a plus for everyone riding, and of course riding alongside my daughter added some extra joy just for me.

Felt like a ride past its prime and it probably is...but, it still had a degree of intrigue and mystery right through the first launch. After that, it's a dark-ride, spaghetti bowl format that provides a relatively even balance of fun and discomfort with neither outweighing the other. It ends with a bit of a whimper from a theming standpoint, which is pretty good otherwise.

Really loved Rapterra. A fantastic fit in the park and a lot more fun than I was expecting. Launch was solid...rattle was non-existent...a lot to like...

I went on this a bunch as a kid. The name and concept created a tremendous aura of suspense and intrigue. But I always found the experience to be a tad underwhelming. It was my first hanging coaster and it had some really cool and fun moments...but when riding it, I always felt like it was holding back from what could have been a truly remarkable coaster, ahead of its time. Good not great was always my review, despite the fond nostalgia I maintain for it.

I went on Grizzly in 1993 and it got stuck at the top of the first hill. So 30 years later I came back to give it a try. I had heard it was re-tracked and a much better coaster than it had shown to be in recent years But personally, I found it to be a dud. I really, really wanted it to be good, but it was especially rough and all the elements were a few degrees short of the intensity I was seeking. If I'm going to deal with a high degree of discomfort and roughness, I want the payoff to be much higher intensity. This ride didn't have it. Grizzly was more like a panda leaving me to wonder instead what could've been... Update: two years later, a back row ride provided modest redemption. Good airtime on the first drop and subsequent two hills+a fairly forceful quasi-helix towards the end…minimal roughness throughout. I rather enjoyed it this time…and so I took it from 1.5 stars to 2.5 stars.

I have never been on anything like Tumblii before. For those who enjoy this type of ride, I suppose it was too short. For me, I couldn't get off the ride fast enough. I only had one flip, but that was enough...I just don't think this ride hits on what I'm looking for. It's accessibly located in the park and credit for the innovation it brings to the table. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't need to do it again.

I think the layout and overall experience will be well received by most RMC enthusiasts. It packs a lot into a rather compact format. Personally, I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. It felt a lot like Steel Vengeance after the MCBR, which I've never loved. For my taste, there's actually too much packed into the small format. Still...a great ride and another case testimony to RMC's greatness in the format.

Stealth was exactly what I hoped it would be...a perfectly simple (and speedy) launch coaster that takes your breath away and then quickly has you on your way. Really well positioned in the park, it complements the other coaster formats in the park quite nicely.

Hyperia hits different - it is really intense, with an innovative layout, and multiple showstopper elements. The trim/post-trim portion loses a little steam, but that’s the closest thing to a flaw I could articulate. Killer ride, comparable to some of the biggest, most intense coasters in the world.
