Airtimes Fun Hangtime Vibrations Débit

Half Pipe is an undervalued ride. It's a baby Wicked Twister, but I was so incredibly surprised by how much airtime you get on this thing. It's actually crazy. And the best part is you get it over, and over, and over again. It's one of the things that I always loved about swing rides is just the consistent floater experience, but the gradual spinning of the seats provides even greater airtime and even some mild ejector depending on the timing. It's fantastic. Allegedly, this is the only Half Pipe that's still operating out of the 3 that exist, so I felt honored to be able to ride it on the Fourth of July this year. Don't let it's lame look steer you away. It's by far the best coaster enthusiast experience at Elitch Gardens (although that's not saying a lot because the bar is pretty low lol). UPDATE AUGUST 19TH 2024: I rode Half Pipe Twice yesterday, both on the left spinner. I'm convinced this spinner is much rougher than the right one. The ride is still good, but I'm changing it to 3.5 stars just because of the shake and rattle on that left spinner.

Inversions Layout Ejectors

Ejector really throws you around and all the inversions are masterful the entire way through the course. Just when you think you've seen it all it throws one more new element at you. Fun, creative, and aggressive.

Chef d'oeuvre Intensité Ejectors

My first ride was with the new lap bars which felt amazing but I can't speak for the notorious old restraints. Somewhat varied ride depending on where you're sitting, but a wing seat in the front is pretty much the perfect coaster experience. Ejector felt like I was flying out of the seat.

First Drop Chef d'oeuvre Intensité

Pure intensity. No airtime, just violent positive g forces and speed, almost a guaranteed grey out. Shoulder straps feel necessary for safety.

Inversions Inconfort

Preferred this to batman the ride at SFDK pretty significantly, not even sure why I just had fun on this one and I don’t remember batman being this fun. Maybe just a state of mind thing. But yeah, pretty good fun but I wouldn’t want to marathon it due to the intensity of the flipping.

Vitesse Fun Baffes

First half was super fun but then the second half had some pretty bad head banging issues that really hurt my ears. Didn’t mind it overall but probably wouldn’t ride again

Confort Fun Layout

Wow, that's a really great Zierer! A Zierer force with some actual force to it. And a really nice prelift section as well!
