Théma Launch Hangtime Trop court Débit

A great first thrill coaster for the younger thrillseekers! The launches through the station, the rear spike (especially on the back row) and the hangtime as you roll over the entrance to the area are highlights (the latter is helped by the fact that the vests don't clamp down like those on older B&Ms). The helix around the jaguar statue has decent intensity on the lower parts and stalling out at the top whilst banked 90 degrees is a unique sensation. It does feel very short, having the train fly backwards through the station and up the rear spike a second time after the return journey would've been fun and it feels like the train would definitely have enough speed to allow for this. The main issue with this coaster is it's capacity, as a wing coaster which can only run a single train, dispatch times are slow despite the best efforts of the ride staff. This is made even worse by the fact that the airgates are not tall enough and therefore guests are not permitted to wait behind them while the train is flying though the station at speed. Guests are batched outside of the station and only allowed to enter once the train has parked which adds considerable delay, especially for those batched on the right side of the train who are only allowed to cross the bridge over the track once the train is parked! On a coaster which was always going to have capacity issues, the decision not to use full-height airgates is frankly baffling. On opening day the virtual queue system was doing a good job of keeping the physical queue time down, but it remains to be seen how the coaster will cope with peak summer crowds, especially if the park ever discontinues the virtual queue.

    First Drop Théma Longueur Intensité

As someone with a fear of heights, this one took me a while to get on. But once I did ride it, I was surprised by how smooth it felt. I decided to put intensity as a con because I expected it to be more intense than it was. Not that I mind it being on the "friendlier" side. I love the theming of the preshow, and going through the mouth of the monster in the end, with a piece of track leading elsewhere. I think it has great pacing, and lasts for just the right amount of time.

First Drop Vibrations Baffes A raser !

It really is just a mess. I came off feeling like my ears had gotten smashed off by how this coaster flings your head around and against the very uncomfortable restrains. I see no reason to keep it standing there to be honest.

First Drop Fluidité Trop court Layout

Really the main issue is that Krake is so short. It feels like the first drop happens, and then the coaster navigates to the final break run. There will always be the thrill of the dive coasters drop though, and the water splash before the immelman is a nice addition as well as going through the Krakens gaping mouth. But there just isn't more to the coaster than those first 3 seconds of the drop. At least it's smooth like what's expected from B&M.

    Longueur Déception ! Layout

The theming on the inside was unfortunately turned off for my visit, leaving me very disappointed basically doing helixes around dark creatures and scenery in a dark warehouse. Other then that, I don't have much to say. It's a kiddy coaster.

    Launch Fluidité Trop court Théma

Great launch! But besides the airtime hills sending you out your seat and into the restrains it doesn't really do much else. It doesn't really have a memorable layout in my opinion. And the theme could be non existent. The restrains aren't very comfortable, but at least I don't recall any rattling or headbanging. So it's not an uncomfortable ride.

    Théma Situation Longueur

I think the helixes give a decent view over the rest of the park. It goes on for quite long, which might make the rattling a bit more significant for some. But I assume it's pretty much a feature of a bobsleigh. Don't have much else to say, the speed is nice, great fun for a large audience. Perhaps thrillseekers are better off somewhere else.

    Situation Layout Baffes Inconfort

I do have to thank Big Loop for being my first inverting coaster, and it helped me get over my fear of inversions. However, the over shoulder restrains are very uncomfortable, especially for anyone taller they simply force you down into the seat. I personally had to slide down just to fit somewhat comfortably, and I'm only 180cm. The layout fits nicely with its position by the water, but the headbanging sure leaves the mark of a headache afterwards. I made the mistake of riding it twice in a day. At least it's nicer than Limit (or soon to be called Toxic Garden)

    Vitesse Fluidité Layout Trop court

This was my first wing coaster, and Flug Der Dämonen instantly made it my favorite coaster type. It really makes you fly, in such a smooth motion you barely notice the turns or inversions. The demonic knot is very fun, as well as the theming being great, specially compared to other coasters at Heide Park.
