I either got a bad ride or just caught it at a bad time but this ride was pretty forceless during the rest of its layout but its still a fun ride.

The theming of Wodan is great, and might actually be a park highlight in terms of marrying theme to ride. Wasn't the smoothest coaster experience, intense in parts but never felt as though I could fully relax and enjoy it.

Seven years after my first ride, it's exactly as good as I remembered. Not only is the airtime and hangtime divine, those laterals are consistently great to a degree I still don't think any other coaster has achieved. Just a brilliant interpretation of a wild steed in coaster form.

Vekoma made an elite coaster? And in North America to boot? The inversions and airtime are masterful, with pretty good laterals and (of course) that delightful first drop sequence. The real shocker was the out-of-this-world sound design with an excellent on-board soundtrack and brilliant atmospheric queue sound effects. Ride is a little short for the height and pacing but not outrageously so.

A really nice hidden gem in Grafton. In a gorgeous part of the Southern Illinois woods, this alpine coaster rips you downhill in what feels way faster than the 25 mph top speed they advertise. You can't ask for better natural scenery on a coaster. Ride ops are friendly and fast; I didn't feel like I waited long, but I didn't see another rider in front of me on any of my three rides. The seat is relatively uncomfortable with the pulled mesh over a metal frame style, and if you're going full speed over one of the chicanes you WILL get banged left to right across the small of your back. The ride vehicles themselves are pretty small too, with seatbelt restraints. This is a relatively common thread across coasters these days, but if you're larger you might have problems fitting into the car and securing yourself. In all a really fun experience worth doing if you're in St Louis already
