Bonne suprise ! Intensité Fluidité Débit

Was honestly floored by this ride. This was my first Giant Inverted Boomerang, and I got off of it wondering how this model didn't take the world by storm with legions of clones like other older Vekoma models (cost probably). The ride is shockingly smooth for a Vekoma from this time period (not sure if other GIBs are this smooth), and everything from the first drop to getting winched back into the station is pure pulse-pounding fun. You'd think the part where you're winched up the other tower before being dropped backwards would be a deadspot like it is on the other Boomerang models, but it's so short on the GIB that you barely have enough time to catch your breath before you're navigating the course backwards. Incredible ride, and probably one of the best shuttle coasters I've ever been on. Also really great for re-rides/marathoning despite its intensity because of how smooth it is, but don't expect to be able to on a busy day with that shuttle coaster capacity.

    Fun Vibrations Inconfort

Neat classic woodie that's fun for a ride or two, but has got a bit of that old woodie rattle.

    Temps mort

    A standard, unremarkable Wild Mouse.

    Fun

Standard fare spinning coaster, nothing too special here.

    Inversions Fun Intensité

Classic Schwarzkopf double looper that delivers on the trademark intensity as it goes through its intense, high-G loops (especially in the back seat), and fun helices.

Lap Bar Launch Hangtime Trop court Débit

The original Premier Sky Rocket 2, Discovery Kingdom's Superman is fun little ride with a lot to offer. Having fun launches, both backward and forward, and a memorable heartline roll at the apex that gives great hangtime with those lapbars, this compact ride is definitely worth a ride or two. However, this install being at a larger park compared to some of the other Sky Rocket 2s out there really shows how poor the capacity of this model is. Prepare for this ride to probably have the longest wait in the park, often hitting 90-120 minutes on peak days (Which you may not really want to wait for if you've ridden 1 or more of the other Sky Rocket 2s out there, the ride experience is the exact same).

Lap Bar Launch Ejectors Vibrations Inconfort

The launch, and resulting ejector airtime over the top hat at the start are stellar; but Wicked has a wicked rattle, unfortunately. The ride and layout is still tons of fun, but there is a bit of discomfort that's always there as you shake, rattle and roll your way through the course. However, the ride is more than fun enough to make up for it. Be sure to ride if you can, unless you're particularly sensitive or something.

First Drop Lap Bar Hangtime Vibrations

I was expecting the beyond vertical drop to be my favorite part of the ride going in, but the hangtime this thing delivers totally stole the show for me. The layout also delivers good forces; but most of the elements, especially that funky "Lagoon roll", seem to be tailored to make sure you're dangling by that lap bar. There's a little bit of a rattle, but it's not enough to detract from the ride experience in any meaningful way. Totally worth making the drive to SLC for, in my opinion.

    First Drop Intensité

this thing is honestly scary...looking up at it you legit start to have 2nd thoughts. the first drop/turn is no doubt the most intense thing ive ever experienced. the 2nd half of the track is amazing as well, roaring thru CRAZY laterals at MAJOR SPEED. Skyrush is my fav coaster but i305 does claim the title for best ride ive ever received. It was last day of season (late october during fright fest) at 9:55pm (last ride of day and season) in 36 degrees from the back row. just imagine flying thru the frigid darkness..surreal to say the least

    First Drop Intensité Ejectors

i have ridden skyrush about ten times a year since it has opened and my god the experience never gets old. First off, i LOVE the restraints. they have never been too tight (6'0 180lbs). I truly wish every coaster had these restraints (too many over the shoulders restrict my breathing). now onto the ride, the lift hill lets you know right away that there is no turning back from here. you FLY up the lift hill in what some might think is a launch to THE GREATEST MOMENT IN ROLLER COASTER HISTORY. from the back left wing seat specifically, there has never been a moment where you have been in less control. You get absolutely CHUCKED over the first hill for some of the wildest ejector the industry could imagine. IT IS THE MOST UNSAFE, AWESOME FEELING IN THE WORLD. in terms of a singular coaster element (the drop), i think i will be hard pressed to find a better one in my life. from there you go barrelling around a crazy 5g turn into some SERIOUS, EXTENDED airtime. there is the slighest of rattles momentarily but honestly it doesnt take away from ride at all and you will barely notice with adrelanine pumping so high after drop. from there you will experince some of the best ejector laterals imaginable (from wing seat) and the course concludes with some more amazing airtimes hills before hitting the brake run. overrall, this ride is a dream come true. between the greatest drop in roller coaster history, and the fast paced, intense layout skyrush truly checks all boxes in terms of a world class coaster. some say the restraints ruin it, but even if i didnt like them i would still happily put up with it. HERSHEYPARK is a must visit. Their big 4 (now big 5 with candymonium) seriously competes with any park in the nation. A MUST RIDE/VISIT FOR ANY ENTHUSIAST!!!
